Felicia, I use dollar tree baby oil and a brush to loosen the stamp. I also had on hand a sculpting tool that is rounded at the edge and I would help it if it needed but the oil does the work. I was surprise how easy it was. Of course you need to clean them after you get them off the mat. Once you lift the edge push the brush in with baby oil back and forth and see the magic. Let me know.
Love the baby oil idea. I used sprayed oil lol but that didn't work as well. I also use a spatula type tool, great minds think alike. Will try the oil. Thanks much for sharing. Blessings....
I watched this a few weeks ago. Couldn't find creative stamping magazine at my Barnes and Noble. I asked and was told they hadn't had creative stamping in a long time. I ordered from craftstash and received 8 days later. I love it, going to use for cookbooks I am making for my adult Children. Went back to Barnes and Noble yesterday to see if they had any new craft magazines and quess what I found? Creative stamping issue 46. I bought it and was surprised to find it included issue 41 and both sets of stamps. I am beyond thrilled. Thank you for sharing. I would have never looked at the magazines at Barnes and Noble otherwise.

I was frustrated too Bertha until I figured out this technique. Another tip is to color your images before you cut them out. This tip is great for your detailed images which will prevent the scan n cut from cutting out the inside parts. Glad you are enjoying your machine. Blessings....

Hi Felicia, I have a Brother Scan and Cut and is the first time I am using it. When I try to cut the cake container from this stamps , the machine is cutting everything on it so is not coming out like yours. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong. :( Thank you.
Hi Bertha. Make sure you don't stamp too hard (in center of image) and don't have too many images close to each other. You can also outline your image with a black pen before you cut (you may or may not have to do this). The Scan n cut will cut out the darker part of your images so play around with your stamping pressure. The only image I really had an issue cutting out was the heart image though a small circle did cut out on my mixer (at least one of them). Let me know if this helps. Blessings...
