Scammers typically target the elderly and attempt to steal money by several means.
1. Your Bank Saving or Checking accounts
2. Investment accounts or 401k retirement funds
3. Credit and Debit cards
4. Purchasing Gift cards
5. Cash withdrawls
6. Cryptocurrency
Scammers are ruthless criminals that have no problem stealing every last dime from their victims bank accounts. Please protect yourself as well as family members who might not be familiar with these type of scams.

He also gets paid much better than the government would pay, except for the benefits. It would be so awesome if the Feds added P as a contractor to do work for them. What are you waiting for, IC3? Indian police corruption is the well known problem. As long as the Indian call centers not scam Indians the government doesn’t care. The local police wants their kickbacks.
Pretty close, he's not up to 100% apprehension and successful prosecution of criminals. He does well tho....and yes, if he can do it, just shows the level of ineptitude, inefficiency, unwillingness, etc of those in political power to ignore their duties....just like Mayorkas.
@@W8RIT1 He can't apprehend or prosecute. He is not the police or FBI. He's just a regular guy who chose to use his knowledge in cyber security to scambait. He works with authorities, but it's ultimately up to them to do something. 🌸

Yes, even just that investigation is more than all of our own law enforcement is doing. I'm not knocking him at all. He's just truthfully and factually not doing ALL of the work law enforcement does....or should be doing, either here, or there in India.

The evidence and the location presented on a platter by Pierogi, and yet the local law enforcement is not able to catch and punish these scumbags.
Then just think with government spending all of the equipment, manpower and resources that THEY have available which probably exceeds the quality of what Pierogi uses. So if he can do it...why can't they?
I will say to his credit, I do think he has been able to effect a raid....with video of it. I don't know about what happened after if they were prosecuted or not. The Indian police did raid from his info at least once.

My inlaws just got scammed for $175k aud by sms and telling her, that her account was used for purchases. She called back the number and short story, they took over $170k aud in 3 consecutive days. It was their retirement $ and they just finished building their house. They needed the money so much to pay off the house and now they’re on the verge of breaking up. She contacted the bank and the bank told her contact the police. Basically their retirement savings are gone!
I feel so sorry for them they should keep on trying to get legal actions against them

Hi I'm Andrew from UK i love what u guys are doing and the community u have its absolutely amazing I've only just found ur channel I've watched nearly every episode I went throw the exactly same thing fron Norton cause I have 3 kids I thought they went on the computer and done something so I called then went throw all that process I had to give them £2000 witch I didn't even have I'm still trying to pay that off now it happened 4 years ago in that time I've had knee surgery high blood pressure I've recently broke my wrist due to sleepless night trying to pay the money back and to help my children I've been struggling so much just want to say I love you guys and what you all do its amazing keep up the brilliant work x

Walmart is making MILLIONS in fees from these scammers by having little to zero security. Anytime an old lady gets scammed for $5K, Walmart gets around $100 bucks in fee's, and they don't care.

Watching your videos paid off tremendously today! My coworker got the paypal scam email and was talking to them when I overheard the call. I was able to tell her it was a scam and when she was skeptical I was able to tell her exactly what they were going to say next. Thankfully she hung up on them and didnt lose any money. Thank you so much for doing what you do and teaching us how to protect ourselves and those around us!!!

As a indian I am very ashamed of this act . But the thing many of the foreigners say things like oh so you are from a country from where all scam happens .I mean that hurts but I just want to say that capture the scammers please give their locations to police to arrest them. And please to a foreigner who is watching this comment no India is not like this most of the people are nice here .
That is very true. Same for Nigerians. They have the reputation of being one of, if not the number 1 scammer country. And even though it does seem that most online scams originate in Nigeria, the scammers are still a small percentage. There are millions of hardworking Nigerians but sadly you only hear about the bad ones which leads to hatred for the whole country.

@@AdrianVejar be careful there are fake Scammer Payback accounts replying to people in comments. Just ignore them, even if they use the channel logo. The real Scammer Payback does not use Telegram.

The reason Indian phone scammers do this is because there is no true punishment for them, it's just a inconvenience until they find another victim. the Indian police and government are in on the scam as well.
With their personal information known they should be detained if they try to leave India for another country and charged with international crime and any assets in that country Confiscated.

My neighbour, in her late 70’s, was hit by a scammer who asked her to deliver cash to a local address. She drove to the police station with the scammer on the phone when she was supposedly on the way to the bank. The police told her there was nothing they could do and sent her on her way.
