Ancient people's around the world share many biblical stories- giants, gods(fallen angels) coming to teach them things, breed, etc, as well as the flood. So yeah, the Bible actually is pretty historical.
Not really historical for plagiarized mythical material from cultures thousands of years prior. Is neither a scientific book either as some misguided people believe.Instead of allowing so much evil if the bible had put one or two things in about medicine so many lives could of been saved but that to hard for god and really hates us being happy as rather see most of us bbq.
Historically inaccurate ?
Since multiple of those ancient civilizations pre date the bible.
Even if they did they didn't have the means to travel to different continents for thousands of years after the flood.
All these stories and myths are completely different from one another.
And floods happen everywhere all the time.
@@Minifliek Hmm no, if we listen carefully to every eyewitness account across the world about the ancient past. They all not only report a global flood but they also confirm much of the genesis accounts. And the old testament has testable claims just like in Science proving that the old testament authors are genuine eyewitnesses of the global flood and they are more reliable than the epic of Gilgamesh and such. The old testament was perfectly preserved through oral traditions.
And “religion “ is man reaching for God; Christianity is God reaching man. There’s quite a huge difference, and the so-called “religions “ are demonic manifestations.

Recently discovered, there is more water underground than there is on the surface. I believe in passage, the term “welled up” is used which suggests that it didn’t just rain.
In time, the water would resend into the opened cravases it came from.
I smiled when I read your comment about underground water. In at least four places in the Bible (including two in the Flood account), "springs of the deep" and "fountains of the deep" are mentioned. It wasn't until 1980, that scientists discovered warm-water, clear-water springs in the depths of the ocean. They've concluded since then that there's four times as much water in the earth's crust than in all the oceans of the world combined.
@All About Britain Nope... Thats on the surface. They recently discovered oceans of water under the crust.
@All About Britain More like 96.5%, but close enough. It appears that the 6 quintillion gallons of water in the earth's crust wouldn't be enough to cover the earth more than a few dozen meters deep. Thanks for the heads up.

@@joeycan6801 Any archeologist? Not so. There is a flood story similar to the Genesis account that was written before the Epic of Gilgamesh. The Epic is fantasy: the boat he built would not have been seaworthy and the main character of the Epic was given eternal life (so where is he now if he was given eternal life?). The Bible, on the other hand, is proven by on-going archaeological digs to be an accurate account of historical places, people and events. Noah's boat design is actually very sea worthy and similar in dimensions to modern oceanliners--Gilgamesh's is not. The allegation that the Epic is older is absolutely not solid. There is significant evidence that the oral tradition contained in parts of Genesis go back to approximately 2000 BC or longer. Genesis mentions a city called Haran. This city was abandoned in about 1800 BC and not occupied again. The fact that Haran is mentioned in Genesis is evidence that the tradition of Abraham leaving Ur goes back to at least 1800 BC. The Genesis account is most certainly older even if there was nothing written, as the Jews had a very solid and reliable tradition of passing historical events orally. Also, whether or not clay or paper was used is not reliable as a dating method, as both methods were also used by the ancient hebrews/israelites.

There was never a global flood to begin with, and as a consequence there was never an ark. Such a flood would have produced evidence contrary to the evidence we see. For instance, how do you explain the relative ages of mountains? Why weren't the Sierra Nevadas eroded as much as the Appalachians during the Flood? Why is there no evidence of a flood in ice core series? Ice cores from Greenland have been dated back more than 40,000 years by counting annual layers, and the Vostok Antarctica cores go back 420,000 years. A worldwide flood would be expected to leave a layer of sediments, noticeable changes in salinity and oxygen isotope ratios, fractures from buoyancy and thermal stresses, a hiatus in trapped air bubbles, and probably other evidence. Why doesn't such evidence show up? How are the polar ice caps even possible? Such a mass of water as the Flood would have provided sufficient buoyancy to float the polar caps off their beds and break them up. They wouldn't regrow quickly. In fact, the Greenland ice cap would not regrow under modern (last 10,000 yrs) climatic conditions. Why did the Flood not leave traces on the sea floors? A year long flood should be recognizable in sea bottom cores by (1) an uncharacteristic amount of terrestrial detritus, (2) different grain size distributions in the sediment, (3) a shift in oxygen isotope ratios (rain has a different isotopic composition from seawater), (4) a massive extinction. 2 Peter 3 "3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly."
The account in Genesis is a compressed version of a time period to make it understandable to the people being told of these events as they where hearing the story around a camp fire. There is far more to explain about these events than what is explained from the bible. Yes, according to Genesis 1:1,2, it says "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2The earth was without form, and void; and darkness [a]was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters." So here we see the earth was covered with water. This was day one. Then God said this, "9Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. 10And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. This was day three. So this explains the sediment being laid down globally. The lack of evidence of humans who died from the so-called NOAHs flood, where are these bodies? There are none to be found.

If I remember correctly, it doesn't take the 6k years model but it does take on the current era global flood looking at geology and other scientific evidence.
I don’t know why but just because their was water in one place doesn’t mean there was a global flood
Nor does it mean the Christian flood

The problem is that all these other religions are pagan nonsense and Christianity is actually plausible.
Calvin explains the idea that many dinosaur fossils are found in sediments laid down by the flood therefore dinosaurs must have co-existed with man before and after the flood. Where in the world can we find human and dinosaur remains in the same sedimentary layer?
Nowhere. There are no human fossils or artifacts found with dinosaurs, and there are no dinosaur fossils found with human fossils. Furthermore, there is an approximately sixty-four-million-year gap in the fossil record when there are neither dinosaur nor human fossils. If humans and dinosaurs coexisted, traces of the two should be found in the same time places. At the very least, there should not be such a dramatic separation between them.
@@plainsman Very much as I suspected. Were human remains to be found alongside dinosaur remains then the young earth creationist crowd would be broadcasting it from the rooftops. Instead they have to come up with explanations like as the waters rose the humans went up onto high ground while the dinosaurs stayed on the lower ground and so that's why human remains and dinosaur remains are in different layers. Absolute nonsense.

Paluxy river tracks have been claimed to be of humans and dinosaurs but were proven to be only dinosaurs.
A block of stone was once shown in creationist publications of a human foot with a Dino foot overlapping it.
This was refused to be presented to experts though and further analysis of the pictures showed the foot print to not be indented as a normal print would be.
Even funnier after all the false claims about deliberate fossil hoaxes, Kent Hovind made some hoax dinosaur prints at his cult sand pit in Alabama.
@@plainsman
Well allow me to give you an education on how men and dinosaurs co-existed. There were some documentaries made 60 years ago where it shows proof that dinosaurs and humans co-existed. In fact, dinosaurs were used to move stones at rock quarries and were the percussor to every kitchen appliance we have today. It was quite common to use large pterodactyls to fly people around from one part of these ancient civilizations to other parts, and they were commonly used as pets. If you go to the Hanna-Barbera museum, you can see this for yourself.
Dinosaurs helped with pyramid building too.
When you’re looking at geological formations
Think about a magician and the dining room table trick
What happens when a tablecloth is pulled out from underneath a table setting, and everything on the table stays put?
Plate Tectonics work the same way
In that demonstration, the tableware is exhibiting Newton's laws of motion.
Newton's first law says that the tableware will remain motionless unless acted upon by an outside force.
To set the objects on the table into motion, the horizontal force acting upon them in this case is the frictional force between them and the table cloth.
Newton's second law says the amount of force needed to accelerate the tableware is directly related to the rate of acceleration.
When the tablecloth is pulled slowly, the tableware matches its low rate of acceleration and moves along with it.
When the cloth is pulled quickly, the tableware needs to accelerate at a greater rate to move along with it; but the force needed to make that happen is greater than the frictional force available an it lags behind.
If the cloth is pulled very rapidly, the tableware 'stays put.'
Plate Tectonics work the same way.
The Earths Crust is pliable and moves
Where as the bodies of water stay because of the Earths Gravity
But the plates can be stretched and moved
So what you’re looking at World Wide is evidence of plate tectonics
Not a World Wide Flood

One of the things in your video that you didn't point out was the water lines that were cut into the high peaks of the hills and mountains. I live close to a large river and there are tall hills and cliffs on each side, and you can clearly see how the water rapidly cut into the sides of the rock. The rainbow stretches from the spring equinox to the autumn equinox (six days in Genesis one).
The evidence for Noah's flood truly is overwhelming.
Is it though?
no evidence at all.
No, quite the contrary. Why do none of these show up? Why is there no evidence of a flood in tree ring dating? Tree ring records go back more than 12,000 years, with no evidence of any such catastrophe during that time.

Why would billions of land animals have perished for the sins of man? And all other people who were surely not all evil. Why were they not judged after death as they are after the flood?

@@magistradox39 It seems that you are the one who doesn't know what theory means. In science, a theory is the highest you can get with any explanation of a physical phenomena. It's not the same as theory in common speech, that is a common misunderstanding of the semantics related to science. In science, a theory is something that we know that is true, but can be expanded. Like the tectonic plate theory, the Evolution Theory, the Theory of relativity or the Big Bang Theory. All of these are well undemented and predict phenomena which the bible can't. We don't use the word fact in science, because these concepts get expanded. For example, the theory of relativity doesn't coincide with Quantum Mechanics where it should, therefore, physicists are looking for a grand unified theory which can accommodate the two smaller theories. That being said, you have the right not to believe in these theories and just keep living your everyday life using the scientific inventions which were made using these theories, being a hypocrite, however, if you were the least literate, which it doesn't seem that you are, you would know that the word theory used in science is not the same as in regular everyday speech. For most of my life, I've thought of the Grand Canyon as evidence for a worldwide flood. When I first heard the textbook explanation when I was in high school, it didn't make sense. A one-mile-deep canyon consisting of a mile of sediment, clearly proves that flowing water at least a mile deep- was in the area. Add to that the fact of gravity causing water to seek its own level. Thus, the water was not only more than a mile deep, it had to be wide enough for the water not to just drain away.
@All About Britain How did sediment a mile deep get there?
@@AmericanActionReport You do realize not all of that sediment was deposited by water though, right? And not all of the alluvial (deposited by water) stratum are from the same depositional environments. For example the Coconino Sandstone is eolian in origin, meaning it was deposited by wind as dune structures on dry land. The Coconino Sandstone is sandwiched between the Hermit Shale (lowland swamp deposit) and the Toroweap Formation (shallow sea gypsum/shale deposit primarily caused by evaporation). How exactly does a windblown sedimentary layer get deposited between water deposited sandstones in the flood model?
A mile-deep layer of sediment probably proves that there was a deep lake that slowly got filled in by sediment being deposited by river flows over millions of years.

A Harvard-led study indicates that Earth’s early ocean could have been one to two times larger than the current ocean volume1.
These calculations are based on the interior water storage capacity of the planet, which includes the water bound to minerals in the Earth’s mantle.
Researchers compiled data from scientific literature on minerals that contain oxygen and hydrogen atoms (the chemical equivalents of water) and used these figures to estimate the mantle’s water storage capacity.
Implications:
In extreme scenarios, if the primordial ocean were two times larger than today’s ocean, it might have completely flooded the land masses on the early Earth.
While modern Earth’s surface is approximately 70 percent water-covered, this research suggests that our planet was a true ocean world billions of years ago

@truthgiver8286 no its completely stupid and scientific to think there was no global flood. So you're dying that hundreds of cultures around the globe just all came up with their own flood story? Or they all independently decided that this would be the story they all passed down generation to generation, despite it not having any basis in reality? That's quite a stretch. People from the middle east to Hawaiians to native Americans to those on the south American continent and everywhere in between have a flood account. The most simple and reasonable explanation is that it happened and everyone's version of the story gives their explanation of why. Obviously they aren't all correct on that second part, but the fact of it does not change.
Secondly, how else do you explain marine fossils in the Himalayan mountains? Or in Kansas, right in the land locked middle of the United States? How do you explain the instantaneous fossilization of creatures? Fossilized in the middle of eating out giving birth. Or jellyfish being fossilized? Normally they would just decay fairly quickly because of what they are made of. They would never be around long enough to turn into fossils. Insect wings are another example. The fossil record fits perfectly with a worldwide catastrophe like the flood. Based on geology, it's totally ignorant to say there was no flood. And of course, weather scientists cannot give a reason for an ice age. They can show scientifically the evidence that it happened, but they scratch their heads as to why. But if a flood happened the way the Bible described then that would be something that could meet the required conditions and it would mean an ice age right after the flood.
The only reason to not believe there was a global flood is because it gives credit to the Bible. It doesn't prove it, since it doesn't verify the specifics or the "why" behind it, but even just having to admit the Bible isn't crazy on the basics of that story is too much for some people so they have to reject the science as well.
@@kenji214245what would qualify as signs of a long life? Just curious
Hello, I came to ruin your visions.
The Great Flood is from the ancient Greek Mythology.
Why only animal fossils are found but no human skeletons?
Following 👣. I've been wondering this myself.
What if they were found, but labeled as "Ice age" people. By those who were lead the wrong direction.
@@pabunny Dating methods are very accurate. Mislabeling is very rare.
The smithsonians i think destroy them because they want us thinking evolution was what happend and not gods word
The most likely reason (s) human fossils are not found is because humans most likely survived the longest. As a result, their bodies were not buried in the mud so deeply, if at all, and left exposed to the elements. This allowed the normal processes of decomposition to run their natural course. This coupled with the scavengers still around eating them, would have made quick work of these human bodies and left no traces behind.
Another factor to consider is that God's intention for the flood was to annihilate all mankind from the face of the earth. God simply did exactly what He said HE would do. So, it is not surprising that no human remains have been found to this point. Perhaps their are none left to find. They were entirely obliterated by the flood.
You should also understand that finding a fossil of a land dwelling, air breathing animal is a very rare occurrence to begin with. I think I have read that that around 99% of the fossils that have been found and catalogued aquatic creatures. So, finding a human fossil would be a kin to finding a needle in a haystack.
I'm sure there are more reasons why there are no human fossils being found, these are some of the main reasons.
Show me a goat and a velociraptor fossils in the same layer and I’ll become a believer.
No you won't, they'll have a rescue devicefor that
I can't understand how Noah managed to assemble penguins, polar bears and giant pandas in the small amount of time available.
@@raypurchase801 , The answer to that is pretty obvious, isn’t it?
Pretty sure you won't....
There is evidence dated back to 1880. But try and search engine this stuff they'll tell you to "refine your search." There's nothing wrong with the search. The algorithm is designed to filter it out so you can't find it. Ergo, you draw the conclusion none exists. Programmers are atheists too.
Try the Astle Beds as a starting point. Trust me, you'll have to dig deep. And don't be surprised if you are forced to consult a good library and read up the old-fashioned way. It's like treacle on the net.
One of the most fascinating fossil graveyard of all is located in the southern United States. The Ashley Beds is an enormous phosphate graveyard that contains mixed remains of man with land and sea animals, notably dinosaurs, pleisosaurs, whales, sharks, rhinos, horses, mastodons, mammoths, porpoises, elephants, deer, pigs, dogs, and sheep. This catalogue of fossils from the phosphate beds was given in the records of Major Edward Willis who displayed them at multiple expositions (Willis, “Fossils and Phosphate Specimens,” 1881.) Professor F.S. Holmes (paleontologist and curator of the College of Charleston’s Natural History Museum) described the fossil graveyard in a report to the Academy of Natural Sciences: “Remains of the hog, the horse and other animals of recent date, *together with human bones mingled with the bones of the mastodon and extinct gigantic lizards* .” There can be little doubt what extinct gigantic lizard he referenced for he pictured a hadrosaurus on the front of his 1870 book The Phosphate Rocks of South Carolina and captioned it: “Skeleton of a Fossil Lizard eighteen feet in Length.” Moreover, on page 31 he wrote, “It was in this Post-Pleiocene age, the period when the American Elephant, or Mammoth, the Mastodon, Rhinoceros, Megathereum, Hadrosaurus, and other gigantic quadrupeds roamed the Carolina forests, and repaired periodically to these Salt-lakes”… (p. 31.)
Yet I've never seen the Smithsonian eager to display them. Evolutionists won't publicise the findings..... and you won't believe this, or any other accounts, not today, not ever. Am I right?
If you doubt it, try searching for the quotes. The bone listing. The evidence. Your average generation z has no clue what a library is. 30 seconds of search on the net confirm their beliefs. There's no reason to push the boat out and invest an entire minute. What's more, these beds and discoveries are known to MSM and universities. Their response? Shhhhhh.
@@raypurchase801 I concede your point. 120 years and a near-connected 5 continents with land bridges would be an enormous barrier. I don't make that 5-continent comment lightly. It took every supercomputer in the US/Aussie arsenal to demo the model for that and despite 3 runs the best they could manage was 28 days of data so they had to restart the modelling at every 27 to progress the model - which works so well, evolutionary displays reuse it and ADD the timeframes rather than displaying the actual movement the runs recorded. Nowhere near 2" to 6" per year. That scenario failed. It only worked at 5-30 mph. It's the model you've seen hundreds of times showing continental splitting. But what is never shown is that isn't an evolution model. So....based on that. Is there enough time now?

Huge 'Ocean' Discovered Inside Earth
By Ker Than, published February 28, 2007
The finding, made by Michael Wysession, a seismologist at Washington University in St. Louis, and his former graduate student Jesse Lawrence, now at the University of California, San Diego, will be detailed in a forthcoming monograph to be published by the American Geophysical Union. And they did.
They go further 28th November 2016:
"Scientists have made an incredible discovery: Earth has an underground ocean - deep underground, in the planet’s lower mantle far beneath the crust.
The underground ocean consists of water trapped within minerals, and it may be the size of all of the Earth’s oceans put together.
Those are the findings of two parallel studies conducted by researchers at Florida State University, the University of Edinburgh, and Northwestern University.
The first study, carried out by Florida State and Edinburgh, found that water can exist far deeper in the Earth’s mantle than previously thought. They focused on how the water could exist so deep within the planet, and found that a mineral called brucite stores it. Their initial studies should that the water stored in the Earth’s mantle could account for as much as 1.5 percent of the Earth’s weight.
The second study at Northwestern sought to determine how deep the water-storing brucite could go. A Brazilian diamond from a volcanic eruption 90 million years ago offered some clues.
The diamond contained an imperfection caused by minerals that were trapped within the gem as it formed. The imperfection suggested that the diamond formed in the Earth’s lower mantle, a third of the way to the planet’s core. But it contained hydroxyl ions, which come from water.
The researchers believe this indicates that brucite containing water can be found in the lower mantle as well.
The information gathered by the studies shows that water may be an important part of the volcanic process, including “convection” that circulates the molten rock in the Earth’s mantle."
At first (2007) they thought they'd found something as large as the Arctic Ocean. Now the global observations are in they now know its bigger than all the world's oceans combined, ranging from 160 to 610 miles. The zipper is the Mid-atlantic ridge. Now, I know this, so it wasn't hard finding it. But do you see this in evolutionary text books, school curriculums, MSM? You know the answer. You know why.
I've scrolled through other comments. I'm satisfied they aren't the slightest bit interested in the science. Now ask another intelligent question, see what happens.
@@voiceofreason162 Oh.
It's still here in the oceans an under your feet, have you heard of the water table. The dry land mass can fit 12 times in the depths of the oceans.
"The problem is that many scientists don't see it because they accepted a different history of the earth." Correct. Quite different in deed, and not a problem. Only a minority, namely the Judeo/Christian religious people, believe in the story of Noah's arc. And 68% of the world population are not Judeo/Christians.
Sedimentary rock, found all over the world, is evidence of the great flood.
No, it's evidence of seas coming and going over many millions of years and those sea beds gradually turning into sedimentary rock. Why do none of these show up? Why is there no evidence of a flood in tree ring dating? Tree ring records go back more than 12,000 years, with no evidence of any such catastrophe during that time.
Sedimentary rock is found in various places all over the world, but it is not found everywhere in the world. Most continents of the Earth have been subjected to localized flooding at some point in time, over many millions of years. There is no evidence of a single world-wide flood. Apologists will do anything to try to make their story fit.
Actually it is evidence that erosion carried sediment into rivers and then lakes, where over millions of years it turned into rock.
How have you ruled out local floods, and rain?
Also, if the entire world was flooded, where is all that water now?
@@somerandom3247 Yep. The Earth has a finite amount of water and isn't making anymore. The same fixed volume of water is subject to constant evaporation to a gaseous state, then condenses back to liquid water and falls as rain in a never ending cycle. Less than 10% of the Earth's water is frozen as ice and snow at the poles and on mountains. It is estimated that about 25 % of the original Earth's water has been expelled into space over the course of many millions of years and nothing has been identified that could change the rate of loss. Noah's flood, capable of covering the entire earth to the depth of our highest mountains, would require two and a half times more water than the planet possesses from all sources, including the small amount of underground water trapped beneath the Earth's crust. Where could the water have come from?....I couldn't. How did the water disappear in just one year?....it couldn't. Note, that water does not escape into space. Only water vapor can do that. The heat required to vaporize that much water would have incinerated the Earth. The vortex of water vapor leaving the Earth would have dragged Earths entire atmosphere into space along with it, leaving Earth as a barren rock. It's a fun story for Bronze-Age man to ponder in his ignorance. Even more logistically impossible than the story of Santa and his flying reindeer travelling the Earth in 24 hours to deliver many million tons of toys to children. Amazing that any functioning adult can hold a belief in such a fantasy, but then again, we still have "Flat Earthers" walking around in 2023.
There was never an ARK like you have no "physical evidence"
How do you think human survive the great flood? A flood that is supposed to destroy a corrupted human being a nephilim or giants (a half human and half something) which is superior than humanity.
I would not have the Work's of God hidden from My Eyes 🙂

Hmm, the next couple of verses. 2 Peter 3:8-9 NKJV "...8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward [c]us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance..." I'm confused...does this mean that the Lord does not mean conventional time, when he is speaking of days?
There is a channe Archiax that Lots of evidence and uses bibliographies of catastrophes around the world every so many years
i like he doesnt mention. like normal floods, that we see every year. all over. can account for these "science" cant explain this
All this argument is an exercise in futility.

There are two passages in the Bible He will be interested in.
1: Matthew 22:34-40
The Greatest Commandment
34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
2: Acts 16
What must I do to be saved?
27] And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.
[28] But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
[29] Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
[30] And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
[31] And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
One of Satan’s great successes is his success in dividing Christians on an issue that had nothing to do with their salvation.
