The Filipino guy is not fluent in Tagalog because he is Visayan/Bisaya as said by this channel on one of these comments.
Rocky Marquez-Castillo I feel him, I am more into bisaya than in tagalog becuz I hear it alot in my community, but In school we talk in tagalog and in English so Im average in tagalog
Some people are fluent in both🙄
Rocky Marquez-Castillo well it depends..I'm a bisaya and I'm fluent in Tagalog..even if some of us can't speak tagalog fluently, we can understand tho
Rocky Marquez-Castillo im Visayan....i speak fluent tagalog
FRANCISJONATHANPLAYZZZMC AND MORE same here I'm from Mindanao Davao City And I can speak tagalog fluently
i'm not kidding but when he said the word "mahal kita" it really have an emotion something behind it,,,hahaha
ron uy ikr maybe it’s really important to him, or i think he said it to the girl
ron uy hahaha true
I find it difficult when foreign people ask me to translate something in tagalog. My brain buffers. 😂
Lady piee yess! ikr! haha usually yung gusto nila i-translate sa taglog eh di naman natin ginagamit in everyday life.. ex ikinagagalak kitang makilala. bec we say it in english not in tagalog
Some people also if they know we're good at translating tagalog to english we become their human dictionary/translator. But it's a good thing kasi napapractice natin yung sarili natin for good purposes :)
Same here. I can actually speak both english and tagalog but it's just so hard to translate
+kai's honey. "ikinagagalak kitang makilala" who says that? no modern filipinos uses that phrase anymore :D
time to update your video card ~
Us friends “Ikinagagalak kitang makilala ka” doesn't exist. We are saying “Putang ina. nagpakita ka pang hayup ka!” Ganern.

@alek bau vill I like you! Do you like me too?
pretty cool to have Filipino in there too. i totally forgot about "ikinagagalak kitang makilala" that phrase should be used more often. and yes, i think my friends and I always use "ang tagal na tayong di nag kita"
Jaime Lee hello...are you filipino?
ganito lang yan... "huy, kamusta na?"
too formal... uie! buhay ka pa pala, would be better =) and more commonly used
It's too formal tho... we just say "hoy musta na?! Snob mo 'ko sa fb ah" 😂✌
Because that word is too formal thats why only few filipino use that.
that guy who speaks tagalog is attractive
He gei :3
He is no homo

Tagalog is really hard to learn. Some english words doesn't have the exact translation for it. It has so many ways to say and the words changes depends on to whom are you talking.
I can fully understand tagalog but I struggle in speaking it.
Your Master Tama ka Dyan! Dahil ang pananalita natin o madalas ay Filipino Languages Hindi TAGALOG. Marahil ang TAGALOG ay malalim na pagbigkas o malalim na salita :)
If you basically think it's really hard you should go and study a subject called FILIPINO, it's a tagalog version of a subject called ENGLISH, FILIPINO subject will make you learn what is a tagalog of Noun, Verb and proverb..
yes yes!! like in long time no see,, napaisip pa ko kung ano tagalog nun kasi usually we say nice to meet you instead xD
+kai's honey
"long time no see" in tagalog "ang tagal nating di nag kita"
I'm Filipino and now I'm practicing my hands on writing Baybayin, it's an ancient Filipino script before our ancestors learned the Alphabet, as much as I love my mother tongue, writing it in Baybayin is more difficult than speaking it -- because one word is indeed long. Like, name --> pangalan, born --> ipinanganak.. etc.,.
I want to learn baybayin too.
Me too! 👋

Can we just appreciate people in different countries and become harmonious as like this.❤
Woah he said the mahal kita part with so much emotion, i cant even say it that way. Siguro may insperasyon si Kuya. 😂
In saying I LoVe you in tagalog there are many ways:
obsolete way: iniirog kita or iniibig kita
casual way:
mahal kita
liking or having a crush:
gusto kita
all of them have same meaning it is still depend to you how you should use it.
In Introduction there many ways also:
like:
(very welcoming esp to tourist)
Mabuhay!
Saying Hi:
kumusta ka ako ay si (name)
formal
Ikinagagalak kitang makilala. [ako nga pala ay si (name)] Ang pangalan ko ay si (name)
The filipino guy is obviously not use to speaking the language most of those phrases do not have an exact translation or there is ( i just didn't know ) or maybe it depends on how you say it or how you want to be received. Like the phrase "Long time no see" when you directly translate it, it would be very long "ang tagal na na nating di nagkita" but we don't often say that most of the time it's as simple as "oy kumusta na!" And it will send the message that's it's been a while. And most of the phrases can be relayed TagLish ( english - tagalog ) so you don't directly translate english to tagalog cause you'll end up sounding very awkward or very inappropriate.
And it's should be "Salamat sa Panonood" which directly translate to "Thanks for watching"
Give the guy a break.
+Hisui Sedo no really i don't have a problem with him speaking in the language i was just stating the obvious, i'm not here to criticize him or what ever.
so true. it's so evident that he's not used to speak the language
baka bisaya sya...😁😂
This is a perfect way to learn 😂😂 I'm currently learning hiragana and korean
now interested in chinese
That Filipino guy is so handsome. He makes me smile. LOL
What's the full name of filipino guy? His social media accounts? Just for my research purposes 😭😊
I enjoyed watching this.. Please make more video like this, and oh.. btw, when the guy said Mahal Kita I feel like there's something behind it. The feels. haha

This is good. Im from the Phils and I'm actually interested in learning Chinese and Japanese in the future, (I'm currently focusing on my 한글 right now). These vidoes will sure help alot. I just hope you guys could include word graphics in your videos so the viewers could pronounce it correctly.. Thanks!
Your club is very nice. :-) I loved how people with different nationalities understand and befriended with each other.
Me and my friends don't use "Ikinagagalak kitang makilala" we just use "Ui buhay ka pa pala" "Epsi ang isa dyan" "Putchangina mo" and others like that like that
there's good chemistry between Filipino guy and Korean girl. 💓
JIN PARK no just no
Not
5:12 chaaaarrr!!! hehehe akoy kinilig lol haahah ❤️💯🌹😍
6:45 hooooy ako lang ba yung kinilig 😍😍🥰
Filipino language sound like romantic..😍
We filipinos usually introduced ourselves in English nowadays
Sigrid Sevilla yes, that's true. 😹
except me, kung isang pilipino ang kausap ko ipinapakilala ko sarili ko sa pamamagitan ng wikang tagalog pero kung foreigner o trabaho doon ko lamang ginagamit ang english dahil nais kong manatili sa sarili ko ang wikang tagalog.
Only in the city. In the provinces, not so much.
nice set of friends 👌 I think sharing different cultures with set of friends is really awesome
#goals
daiski!
I can say that four of them aren't really native speakers of their respective languages
bruh this 4 language is the best i mean i can speak chinese because of Cdramas, korean because of Kpops, Japanese because of my grandfather, and tagalog because i'm filipino
i'm late tho but nevermind its just 4 years
i love this hope they make more videos
When I heard the song "Coffee" by BTS wahhhh you guys are so great I hope someday I can find a friends like that anyway I am a Filipino 😊love from PH
They are all slang.. I bet they all grew up in the US. Haha cute
gwapo mo kuya!
New Subscriber here.. . Wu Ai ni , Saranghe, Mahal kita yung naka eye glases.. . Cute.. . Hehehehe #Bebe
Like a love triangle😂😂 between the filipino guy and japanese guy, fighting for a korean girl.
Honestly? Filipinos will often mix Tagalog and English words, that's why there's this language called "Taglish" here. Like when translating "Hello, my name is ____. Nice to meet you," direct translation would be "Kumusta, ang pangalan ko ay ____. Masaya akong makilala ka." However, people prefer introducing themselves more casually, "Hi, nice to meet. Ako [ay] si ______" which is just "Hi, nice to meet you. I'm _______." We like keep our sentences as short as possible, too. Haha.
A foreigner will survive not knowing how to _speak_ Tagalog if they ever come here in the Philippines, as long as they know how to speak English. But! Even if they don't know how to _speak_ Tagalog, it wouldn't do them any good either if they can't _understand_ the language when visiting here. Many of us have the tendency to mix the languages.
Wait a minute, Filipino guy's translation (Sorry, I didn't catch his name. "Kayu?") isn't that bad? Yeah, the introduction was too formal and literal but the rest isn't that bad.
true
'bat nandiyan si Chanyeol!? O___O
XD Hawig niya.
I wanna join this club!! It seems so interesting and fun.
I hope in the future you will make some video like this. 😍💛 I love it! And i learned a lot tonight because of this. 💯💯💯💯
Thank you so much. We should be uploading a new video on Vocabulary this time. It will feature Tagalog, Korean, and Japanese words.
Hello. My Name is ___. Nice to meet you
In Tagalog:
“Kam'sta sa`yo! `Ko nga pala si ___. Natutuwa`kong Makilala ka!”
This is the Proper TGL
Yeah but 'Ko nga pala____ is translated as "I am___"
The Chinese man is not a Chinese native speaker. As a Chinese, I can confirm.
Can you tell by his accent?
youtube is ban in china ! then why are you here ?
shi
the guy speaking Chinese has a bad Chinese
psycho crack maybe because both all Chinese people live in China like me?
Salamat sa "pagtingin"? I was surprised. LOL It was literal translation of watch. :)
Hahaha. Wala. Natawa lang ako dun sa 'I love you' na banda. Ang cute nila! LOL
I heard Coffee by BTS. with different ver. aigooo~
neeeeeeee
No, its actually Urban Zakapa's Caffe Latte it came out in 2009 way before my love(soz cant help myself) BTS' Coffee
Tine Kim What you heard is the original version though
That filipino guy is attractive
that "mahal kita" omg😂💕
Kaway-Kaway sa mga Filipina at Filipino..!
Some tagalog are similar to bahasa.
Catiting33 yea a lot words are sama! 😂
hahaha! Ya!
Filipino languages are very closely related to Indonesian and Malaysian languages. As a Filipino, to me, Bahasa sentences sound like shortened Filipino sentences. The nouns are mostly the same, but your verbs have less affixes.
or Spanish?
Marvie Guinto - Hindi tayo Espanyol.
their body language says... the korean girl likes that filipino guy.. and that chinese guy is just tring to get that korean girls attention
When he said mahal kita..... ITS SOO.... omgawd... the feelz are explosive
The #ikinagagalak ni koya.. Purya buyag. Hahaha
I'm a Filipino but it's really hard to speak tagalog. I'm fluent in understanding/thinking/writing except for speaking the language and honestly, i hate Filipino Subject. lol #bisayaproblem
That last part he should have said "salamat sa panonood" not "salamat sa pagtingin" cause that means thanks for looking :|
although im filipino, I think learning tagalog is harder than learning korean. I tried learning japanese before too because my cousin is half japanese and she influenced me (I know basic only). chinese is also hard because the pronunciation and the characters. but seeing this I realized that tagalog has so many variations that is really hard to learn and remember especially there is no rule on when to use it or how to us it but its just depends on the word and you'll have to learn one by one.
Tyan gutom.. tyan walang laman😂😂 adorable.. tama ba spelling ng tyan? Or something hehe
Filipino guy is familiar
Hangul and Tagalog are pretty hard to learn, wanna know why?, Hangul has many translations in just a word (Formal/Informal) some words are just easy translating it to Formal because of the 'yo' and 'imnida' at the end. but some words hindi pwede sa yo at imnida kaya iba ang translations. Tagalog has many translations by sentence (I guess) because of some English words inserted and it is like yung ibang words malalalim na kaya parang pag pinagaralan mo na ngayon masyado ka nang out of place because of today's generation tagalog sentences. unti-unting nagbabago.
MJ KIM ohh yeah, sorry, hangul is Alphabet hahaha
nice conversation
I'm a Filipino and can understand them all lol and it was all because I grew up watching anime and I have deep interest with Kdramas and Kpop about 8 years ago so I did some self study on those languages. As for Mandarin, it wasn't something I'll personally choose to study cause it seemed so complex but I had the opportunity to study it in our college years since it was part of thr curriculum so I can understand basic/most commonly used sentences, and turns out it was actually easy to learn 👍🏼
Okat so first of all, Filipinos nangbabash ng kapwa Filipino? Like what the heck?
is he really a filipino?
Opo pinoy siya
남오현, yes
응
Nam oh hyun... He is a filipino but i can say that he is not native.. Philippines has more than 170 language or dialect so its hard for us to speak tagalog .. Our brain buffers😂😂
This is nice.
soooooooo cute....more interesting vids....
e bat parang hirap din magtagalog ung nagtatagalog hahaha
bisaya daw kasi sya
Nolra08 sana meron ding ganito nuh tapos mga dialects naman dito sa Pilipinas. 😍💛 That would be nice, if they can make a video like that. 😍😍😍😍😍
That filipino guy did a very wrong translation. >:(
He's not fluent un tagalog
Wow youre graduated now congrats!!!
kilig naman ako kay kuya sa tagalog translation nya ng I love you "Mahal Kita"
This was recommended to my today 😂 idk why but i watched it anyway 😂
Bad trip ung alam mong pinoy nmn ung ntutu lng mag english tas pag magtagalog english accent wtf! I know how to speak in english too, but if i am using my language tagalog tlga tagalog kung tagalog walang kemeng english accent pa porener daw kuno? Sh*t dude
He's Bisayan. No need to be so offended. He tried his best.
Reven Pagbabalik yung mga bisaya kasi kuya eh mas exposed sa english kaysa tagalog! sa school nga eh nagtatagalog lang kami kapag filipino time. Kaya mas prominent ang mga bisaya sa english kumpara sa tagalog.
Reven Pagbabalik dahan dahan lang po. Siguro medyo nagccringe kayo pero hindi po lahat ng pilipino first language tagalog. Hindi niyo din po alam kung saan siya pinanganak etc
and dami kmg visayan friends hindi namn cla ganyan magtagalog.... pwede ba lokohin nyo lelong nyong panot!!!!!
Thia's Vault marami din akong bisayan friends, pero sa ibang bansa sila lumaki kaya hindi sila magaling managalog.
I’m a Filipino and it’s easy to learn Tagalog😊Some Filipino language doesn’t have English translation. But you can combine English and Tagalog, People in the Philippines speak and can understand english tho
I am totally glad that the Filipino guy taught th formal Filipino instead of Taglish "Ako si ___. Nice to meet you!" which is really wrong for teaching a language. It's fine with friendly conversation, but we must also preserve our national language.
Pro Filipino
Pro English
Pro Spanish
that's me. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!
Hahaha.. Salamat sa pagtingin. :D
My fav languages in one vid!!!💖
that filipino guys is so cute
it's funny to hear the filipino guy spoke tagalog with an accent, then it made sense when i knew he's from visayas. i think they speak visayan/english more often than tagalog.
I love the way when he said Mahal kita. Ayyiiee😂😂
For some reason (even though I’m Filipino), Japanese is the easiest to pronounce in general unbiased terms. It’s not like Tagalog with repeated vowels or syllables, Chinese with tones, and Korean with very closed mouth sounds.
gwapo ni kuya! 😍😂
WAHHHHAHAHAAHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! So KILIG WITH ATENG KOREAN AND KUYANG FILIPINO
i remembered a family feud episode, about... top 10 people who find difficulty speaking tagalog..
philippine president was one of the top xD and he is a bisaya too. so its understandable.
ang cute nilang apat hahaha
you guys are cute hahaha😂💖
