I used to listen to this when we first dated thinking nothing of it, we were young in love and high off the feeling of newness.. 4 years later. I’m alone.. I miss my wife
Circa Survive fan no matter what, this track made me envision an afternoon on a hawaiian beach drinkin coronas, I hope the next track hits with record breaking vocals & enough energy to make me wanna get up & jump around wildly as if I'm in a mosh pit at an actual show●●••
As a die hard Circa Survive fan, I was on the fence when Blue Sky Noise came out, all these years later it's one of my favorite albums... Same thing will apply for some of you... You'll see.
I like the change of sound Circa made on their most recent album. At first, I wasn't sure, but the more I listen, I realize how much more I enjoy it over their heavier songs. I also really really like the sound on the Appendage EP. I think over time I'll listen to it more than Blue Sky Noise. I've been listening to Circa since I saw them live the day before they released their debut Juturna.
all these hateful comments make me sick. this is a beautiful new song. its simple but so what? its a progressive band. it changes from time to time, if you miss old circa then why dont you just go listen to juturna for the 1000 time, if not then fuck off with the negative comments and go start your own band
It takes so much energy to bitch about there old music. I personally fell in love with this song. If you didn't, then simply listen to something else. So many people crying on here complaining about some old relics from 2005..
umm.. you do all realize this is a split with sunny day real estate right.. its suppose to sound similar to sdr. they are circa survive (era survival) of course they're going to change that's what bands that survive do. you wonder why your other equal vision bands broke up, its obvious they couldn't grow in their musicianship and branch out to new realms of instrumentation and lyricism.
I love it. Great song or not I love the band for who they are and what they stand for. They will never disappoint me because they have impacted me in such an amazing way musically from the start of me hearing them. And it will remain that way til the end. Can't wait to see them live again!!!!
If you change your mind and decide you want me, we'll try this out again. I know I'll make you love me. I've got a bad heart. If you start to think that no one there is listening, you can call me up again 'cause its your love I'm missing. I've got a bad heart. If you change your mind and decide you want me, we can try this out again. I know I'll make you love me. I've got a bad heart.
Sure I'm more into the more complex Circa stuff, but I still love this song. The lyrics relate to my life so perfectly it's scary. Like I'm living this song right now.
I NEED MORE NEW CIRCA SURVIVE AZAP PLZZZZZ literally top 5 fav bands for so many years counting. Fkn Anthony Green, man. Never disappoints with them sultry vocals.
I love circa just as much as the next person I been a fan every since the innuet sessions I played. Juturna and on letting go repeatedly and no all the lyrics I loved Anthony greens Avalon and circa guitar rifts were amazing but I must say every since blue sky noise circa has been on the decline and can't recover as much as I love circa I think its time to throw in the towel can't believe I'm saying that but hey I think its time for Anthony to go back to his roots with saosin they can still put out at least two awesome albums before they call it quits look at some of the reunion videos of saosin they all have so much passion for the band and songs
Brand New keeps it simple with the guitar work and it's genius, circa does it and everyone bitches. What, is music with constant accents and time signature changes the only thing you nobody hipsters like? Grow up.
I love math rock oriented stuff and there are still other bands people can discover who are doing similar things. I'm not sure why people get surprised when good bands change, and then call the new shit formulaic.
This song was recorded for violent waves and they decided not to put it on the album. The only reason they released it at all is cause they want to share their art with fansand support record store day. If you dont like it dont listen simple as that
Idk why everyone is being so overly critical, this is a song recorded after violent waves and to me, is a beautiful, if not simple tune. It's pretty much a B-side. Stop acting like the band is doomed, let's wait and see how the new record comes out first haha
This is the Sunny Day Real Estate split... and it was an unbelievably expected split combination, so honestly I think if Circa did a cut-and-paste of their more traditional sound it would sound even more out of place and weird.
Personally I don't care if they expierement with different sounds and melodies. BUtttttt I think all of us can agree that we truly miss their old stuff. Even blue Skye noise was NOTHING like on letting go or juturna. I understand that a lot of us have grown out of that stuff... but even the songs like "at a loss" "plays for ugly daddy ""if I'm not for you"& "drug dealer ,imaginery enemy ,and miracle sun, when I'm on pills acoustic versions to me are all three waaaay better. Some of the actual versions just don't sound right to me yet acoustic they're amazing what happened to circus unique sounds and style that were all beautifully constructed masterpieces.if some of these songs had those angelic sounds along with them they could be outstanding just like the acoustic versions " I understand if circa is maturing and I've noticed that for a few years now and that's fine if they want their style to be the way it has been but for us die hard circa fans Even a few moree songs like on juturna or on letting go I would just about do anything for. I'll always love circa not matter what. They are my absolute favorite band and just because I cannot even force myself to listen to a majority of the young legs album doesn't mean that they aren't my.all time favorite band and encourage Anthony to explore different expierences with his musical talents. He's beyond talented and I think the next circa cd will be very interesting to hear .I cannot wait. As far as the violent waves album my have song was the.very first song. I really enjoyed it. The second one was good too but not nearly as good as the first .the first long on that album was great .as far as the rest.... blahhhhh. That's all ive got to say about that.
have you ever heard of a band progressing in sound i dont think any band wants to make the same album every time they record if you wanna listen o music like that go check out deathcore or breakdown bands this is progress sir and its amazing
Yeah, this is probably Circa's "weakest" song but that doesn't mean it's terrible, at all. I think it's something that we can just stop to listen and relax to. I think it's a beautiful piece and I'm not disappointed at all.
There are always a few tracks off every cd of every genre from every band that just is not as good as the remaing tracks I really hope that this is the case with this new song and that the remain tracks are as amazing as we all know circa can be
This is a bummer. Been a fan of AG since saosin and he was always about the ENERGY. This lacks complete energy, no dynamics. Im thinking most of you who love this are people who barely now noticed circa survive. The newbies. The ones whos first circa album is "violent waves" well for us who grew up on green-era saosin/Juturna/On letting go this is a complete bummer. I think circa should take a break and anthony should put out 2 albums with saosin so he can get RE-ENERGIZED, and fuck shit up on the next circa album in a few years after touring with saosin :) god just talking about another saosin album with anthony is a nut buster. Maybe a take a SEVEN YEARS, hiatus from circa lol
i used to love circa especially juturna. They just aren't that good i suppose a lot of material from blue sky noise on sounds uninspired formula driven.anthonys lyrics have been getting worse too don't even get me started on his solo stuff.Circa probably should've stopped when all the other hot equal vision bands broke up just an end of an era
I was around loving at the drive in,Bear vs.shark, braid, circa ,sound of animals fighting, mars volta ,falloff troy and all the other interesting bands of the 05-08 era they're all gone and circa is just a remnant
i just think they're song writing caters more towards a pop rock verse/chorus aspect of song writing.Although prevalent in earlier recording at least the music was a bit interesting now it just seems rushed for Anthony to deliver big choruses in every song.Im only saying it because i used to like them so much and know they have a lot of good stuff in the band hell if making simpler music gets them more airplay fuck it do it I know playing rock music is tough especially nowadays.Just don't all the circa survive fans say that Permanent waves is anywhere near as good as Juturna was when it first came out because then i would call bullshit
John Olmos this isn't 2005, if you want to relive the equal vision era where all these bands were starting to pop off then go ahead, but it's not like they're selling their dicks to be on good morning america, or writing music that isn't any less complicated than juturna was. it's just different, that's all
I won't disagree CS/AG sounds a lot different than they did 2005. And I love that shit to death. But I love their new stuff just as much because although the sounds and directions may have changed here or there, the passion is still there. These guys make music to make music, not to inflate their wallets. Fan for life right here.
lol So only fast paced songs are good? not every thing has to be complex, super intense lyrics.. its about the ambience, aesthetics, mood.. etc nvm.. you wont get it
I used to listen to this when we first dated thinking nothing of it, we were young in love and high off the feeling of newness..
4 years later. I’m alone.. I miss my wife
Going through a divorce right now.. I feel you.. Circa helps soothe though
Circa Survive fan no matter what, this track made me envision an afternoon on a hawaiian beach drinkin coronas, I hope the next track hits with record breaking vocals & enough energy to make me wanna get up & jump around wildly as if I'm in a mosh pit at an actual show●●••
i agree with you so much some sort of beach scenery comes to mind
A cozy song. Really nice sound, and pretty different from Circa's usual stuff. What were people expecting?
This song is not on Spotify 😢
As a die hard Circa Survive fan, I was on the fence when Blue Sky Noise came out, all these years later it's one of my favorite albums... Same thing will apply for some of you... You'll see.
Same happened for me with Violent Waves, I liked it but didn't care for it and now I'm in love with it
Awesomeness!
that's exactly how i feel about blue sky noise as well, i don't know why some people are so critical of this, it's just one song
No one thinks for themselves anymore. This really isn't a bad song AT ALL, I don't understand.
I'm excited for the 10 year anniversary tour!
Well. I luv it - Lil B
2021 and this song just unlocked a memory
You're all tripping, this song is amazing
Definitely a different sound for Circa and I love it!
Haters gonna hate. Real love, just chillin tunes wouldn't expect anything less.
one of the better slower songs by circa!!
I like the change of sound Circa made on their most recent album. At first, I wasn't sure, but the more I listen, I realize how much more I enjoy it over their heavier songs. I fucking love this! Something different you Know? And how would this band grow if the always had the same sound. I personally fucking love this
umm.. you do all realize this is a split with sunny day real estate right.. its suppose to sound similar to sdr. they are circa survive (era survival) of course they're going to change that's what bands that survive do. you wonder why your other equal vision bands broke up, its obvious they couldn't grow in their musicianship and branch out to new realms of instrumentation and lyricism.

this song is so different but so amazing. forever in love w this
Sure I'm more into the more complex Circa stuff, but I still love this song. The lyrics relate to my life so perfectly it's scary. Like I'm living this song right now.
I love this song and the lyrics, it’s gold ❤️
this is really good. reminds me of avalon. if the new album sounds like this, totally looking forward to it.
I NEED MORE NEW CIRCA SURVIVE AZAP PLZZZZZ
literally top 5 fav bands for so many years counting.
Fkn Anthony Green, man.
Never disappoints with them sultry vocals.
"I know I'll make you love me"- my favorite
The beginning of this song gave me a 'Doors' vibe. I love the melody.
love it. I close my eyes and im floating in water.
I love circa just as much as the next person I been a fan every since the innuet sessions I played. Dude! Spot on!
I love math rock oriented stuff and there are still other bands people can discover who are doing similar things. I'm not sure why people get surprised when good bands change, and then call the new shit formulaic.
BXR Maverick I love both bands tbh
the vocal s voice remuinds me of brian molko s voice from placebo
Perfect example of how fans will turn on a band quickly.
This song was recorded for violent waves and they decided not to put it on the album. The only reason they released it at all is cause they want to share their art with fansand support record store day. If you dont like it dont listen simple as that
Great song. I really want that vinyl as well.
guys, if you slow this record down to 33.3 rpm, it becomes 200% more amazing
ive listened to circa since i was a teenager, im now 28. why have i never heard this song
I saw and heard Circa Survive for the first time in Riot Fest and i really like them
What is with all the negative reviews? Their other song aren't too good but this is well done.
people just don't appreciate that rawness of Anthony green and circa survive?
beautiful.
infinite love
Of course this is the first melody I begin thinking about. I just had a break up. This really doesn't help the sorrow.
Remember when Circa made awesome music?
jigyoda You mean you remember a time you didn't listen to immediate people around you? Lol You yourself sound like a "Hipster" to me.
different. very calm.
Perfect
Nothing Nothing Nothing Nothing
Could anyone tell me the chords to this song?
I can't find them anywhere!
The start of the song sounds like albatross by fleetwood mac a lil bit
Meh to this song and meet me in montauk. I love everything else. Cool title though.
This seems more like Anthony Green's material. It isn't bad, just doesn't seem 'Circa Survive'
Idk why everyone is being so overly critical, this is a song recorded after violent waves and to me, is a beautiful, if not simple tune. It's pretty much a B-side. Stop acting like the band is doomed, let's wait and see how the new record comes out first haha

I agree it shows how diverse they are...
like number 420 #420BlazeIt
kinda reminds me of house of leaves…their song, rather than the book
House of Leaves is one of my favourite CS songs...
Dope
Oh my fucking god ♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡
cawnah cahwaleee
This song is just fuckin depressing, lol. But it's good, makes me think about staring thru a window lookin at rain on a cloudy seattle day.
i got a good heart
Does anyone know the tabs to this? plzzz
+doomzdayyy I'm working on them right now!
you got em yet?!
doomzdayyy oh yeah, thanks for reminding me. ill get those tabs written down soon.

Hipsters everywhere trying to be edgy
luis piratelorde if they wanna listen to another juturna or olg album.. then listen to those albums.. ?
hopefully they keep that in mind the next time they start complaining about circas newer work
Yeah, this is probably Circa's "weakest" song but that doesn't mean it's terrible, at all. I think it's something that we can just stop to listen and relax to. I think it's a beautiful piece and I'm not disappointed at all.
It's one song calm down.
SPLOOSH
I loved every Circa album and all of Anthony's solo albums, but this is just weak. I'm seriously disappointed.
Yeah I mean of course this one song completely un-does all of their past work
This wasn't bad at all.
man do i fuckin miss the juturna side of circa not this blatant lovey dovey shit
There are always a few tracks off every cd of every genre from every band that just is not as good as the remaing tracks I really hope that this is the case with this new song and that the remain tracks are as amazing as we all know circa can be
gimme my juturna n on letting go back please..
Man I'm glad I didn't pay money for this. I was looking forward to it too. These dudes have been going downhill
Huge CS fan, but this is WEAK. Especially compared to the awesome SDRE flip side.
This is a bummer. Been a fan of AG since saosin and he was always about the ENERGY. This lacks complete energy, no dynamics. eh nothing special, same old Anthony melodies
hahahahahahahahahahahaha PeOpLe aRe Weird...
Disappointing to say the least.
i used to love circa especially juturna. They just aren't that good i suppose a lot of material from blue sky noise on sounds uninspired formula driven.anthonys lyrics have been getting worse too don't even get me started on his solo stuff.Circa probably should've stopped when all the other hot equal vision bands broke up just an end of an era

Bad Heart? Bad song. This is boring as fuck. What happened to the old Circa?
They stopped using.
lol So only fast paced songs are good? not every thing has to be complex, super intense lyrics.. its about the ambience, aesthetics, mood.. etc nvm.. you wont get it
Elliot Perreten Hipster award of the year goes to...
