Praise be to God, my daughter just had seizures this week at school the paramedics told me she was unresponsive, when they arrived, she was admitted to hospital and tests were done a lot happened from headaches to shortness of breath. I listened to this song while I was in the ward i was feeling so down but realizing that He is in with us , working through us fighting for us i was comforted and rose above the drowning emotions of sadness knowing He is our defense. My daughter came out of hospital yesterday and with the few issues like slight memory loss but God is not done yet for He is to be glorified in this situation, this is not our fight and I know that we are coming out victorious we will.not be robbed or relent of anything for He satisfies us with long life. It’s been a tough year for me, I moved out of my apartment due to insufficient funds, had visa issues for months, lost the car I was driving, had an accident, I was sick, got scammed while house hunting, got sick, lost the appetite for food, got laid up from my job… it felt like everything I knew was crashing and falling down… but I held on and kept going… I questioned God at one point but he never left me, he helped me overcome all those and I’m currently rebuilding my life again. So this is my testimony. At the lowest point in my life this year which was last month,both my children were home and there was no tuition for them both. As a single mother this broke my heart to pieces,all the people whom I thought would help me out deserted me. I was sad,lonely and just defeated. This song, oh this song got me through that period. Everytime I was down, I would listen and sing it at the top of my lungs. And God came through in such a bigggg way. He kept his hand on me throughout and never left me.
