I've seen Alice around 10 times since 1981. He always puts on a phenomenal show musically and visually, and he looks no older on stage these days than he ever did! :)

I saw (and met) Alice in the Detroit area about a month before this show on the "Freaks on Parade" tour. I'll be going again in August 2024 for my 3rd AC show. Alice puts on one of the best shows out there and has for decades. It's a shame he doesn’t get bigger crowds at some of the arenas and venues doing a solo show as he does with co-headliners like Rob Zombie.

I like this Dwight Frye it's the closest to when I saw them as a kid, Fillmore East 1971 NYC. They were 3rd on the bill.

Thanks for posting this show! Interesting to see them as a 4 piece again without Nita. She is defintley missed but they still sound extremely full and strong. His current band can do no wrong!

Was this at the casino on the island in the Ohio River. Came through a few years back from Peoria, Illinois bringing back a 329 Pete. First layover was at the Knights Inn on the way back to Taxachusetts. Your town and the island with the lighted cable span bridge were an awesome time snd beautiful. Next time I'll visit the canals and such. Have so many great pictures across the river from the Widows walk at the top of the Knights Inn of the sunset and main bridge as well. You all know the story about the catwalk that is like hundreds of feet to the ground below. The story is a couple was going to be married in the banquet hall, she found out her man was cheating on her and jumped from the catwalk in her wedding dress. Creepy story and probably true...

I know you gotta play the hits, but wish more lp cuts could be on the list. Some that haven't been played in a long time if ever. Time to Kill off Raise Your Fist comes to mind.

The banner is video shot on go a background Alice cuts thu. Then its gone.

If the people on the floor would have been in seats. I think it would have been full. It was a good crowd. People really liked it. I think it wasn't advertised good enough. i found out from my niece. I never seen or heard any advertisement.
@@dadho7082 ok ...I'm not sure what kind of crowd he's bringing in when it's him headlining...in the '70's he'd be selling out 20,000 seaters every night...some swedish girl I knew saw him a few years ago and said he was playing 2,000/3,000 seaters...but that was over in Europe...
The arena features a floor space of 22,800 square feet, and a total 7,600 of seats, where 5,400 seats of them are permanent and 2,200 seats are portable. So I would say Alice had half that. It's hard to get people to go out to events here. This valley has bands all over every day of the week in the summer. Most people don't even know it's going on. I stared adding outside shows to my channel last week. I have hundreds to put on All from right here in the valley.@@philipholmes5884 Thanks for leaving a comment.
