I love that they actually have Chief holding whatever weapon you had equipped for the cutscenes. Though, I'm curious with just how many weapons it works with. I had the rocket launcher for a few cutscenes, which was really cool to see.
Playing and finishing the campaign. Infinites story feels like the creation of a whole new arc in Master Chiefs story, while ending a very old one. I was hoping to experience the war against cortana and her created army. Maybe a Halo Wars 3 would be a good game to show this.
I think that was the goal with it and they did the whole soft reboot thing well, we have probably a whole other trilogy set up now starting with Infinite with these Endless dudes, and it also nicely and quite emotionally tied up what was left of the original trilogy with Cortana.
I’m interested to see where they take the endless cause, idk about anyone else, but I thought it was kinda weird that the main enemy of the forerunners was the flood for as long as we’ve played and now their dropping a completely new species that is somehow worse? Their gonna have to fill in a lot of holes for it to work
@@KBROWNZ The audio files help shed some light. The Endless were only encountered by the forerunner post Halo firing until then their existance had gone unnoticed. Do you understand why they are such a big theeat though?
Lad's Lounge I understand that they (the endless) can’t be killed by the halo array, which means they don’t have a central nervous system, but I have the feeling that it’s an unnecessary escalation that devalues the importance of previous games. The banished kinda did that with their explanation in Halo Wars 2 and how the Covenant could never beat them and it’s implied that since they (the covies) we’re fighting on two fronts, that’s the real reason humans were able to beat them, which just kinda diminishes everything we did in the bungie games
1) What exactly happened to Atriox? How did he survive? 2) What happened to Lasky & Sarah Palmer and where are they? 3) Where is Team Osiris and the Arbiter and what are they doing? 4) Where is the Spirit of Fire and what happened to the crew and what happened to Proffesor Anders. The Last time we saw her on the new forged Alpha Halo and she was facing a Guardian which was controlled by Cortana. 5) Where is the flood from Halo Wars 2? 6) What happened to the prometheans? I love what 343 did with Chief Cortana and the weapon aka the new Cortana. The story was amazing! But there are still so much unaswered questions.
My main problem with the story telling is they left too many things in the dark they should at least hint to a few of these questions the whole thing is just confusing.
I like what they did. They ended the old arc of halo and cheif’s past to start a new one. Ending what bungie did and starting a new chapter. It really felt like halo combat evolve again. A new start for cheif and the “weapon”.
That's how I feel. After being in the military for many years. I kept doing it because that's all I knew and now I'm lost at life cause I'm not doing what I know. Sad world!!!
It's reminiscent to Captain America and the other veterans portrayed in Falcon & The Winter Soldier and in the Punisher (TV Series). After getting back to the society they swore to protect, they find themselves lost. At worst, neglected, unappreciated, and feared.
Straight up cried when hearing cortanas last words that sent me down through all the halo games n all the good time these two would have. Shit hit hard (188 likes!?! I appreciate it you guys)
Caleb Feiler I mean, he’s not wrong, cortana said goodbye for the third time at least (halo 4, 5, & infinite now) so it is pretty repetitive, but it also is a minor criticism so I see your reasoning for calling him out
@@KBROWNZ I wasn't necessarily talking about this one comment. This guy had replied the most annoying thing on multiple comment threads and this one finally got a response out of me 😂
This game had a lot of spine chilling moments for Chief. 343 has finally nailed delivering a compelling and emotionally centered story while not only keeping it simple but epic as well.
Spoiler Warning: After defeating The Harbinger, after the post-credits cut scene, after everything, you end up at Tremonius, and all is quiet. Cortana asks, "So what do we do now?" Chief answers, "What we always do. We finish the fight." There were a few things I didn't like about this game, but THAT was awesome.
Seeing Chief having trust issues towards Weapon because of what Cortana did to him….It really gives you a perspective of how much of a human he really is…Not just a super solider killing machine…i know the feels 🥺😭
“if the halo cannot end them, it must imprison them” Basically the endless are precursors as the forerunners made the halos to combat the flood, meaning they knew the flood were precursors too, also there are flood trapped in Zeta Halo as well
It seems like something different. Here’s all the information I’ve gathered through dialogue. Weapon: There's evidence of an entire civilization that once inhabited this Ring. But… not Forerunner. Older. Different. Weapon: It's tragic. A civilization that had it all under control. Until they didn't. Despondent Pyr: These runes predate me. Older than even the Forerunners, Despondent Pyr: My makers… the Forerunner's greatest fear was understood to be the Great Parasite. The Flood. A scourge that almost wiped out everything. I now believe this hypothesis to be incorrect. Their greatest fear is… was… losing their power. The fear of a master who would become a slave. Despondent Pyr: Time moves forward, and back again. I now see Rings inside of Rings. Great circles everlasting. Without beginning or end. “Endless.” As I say their name I feel… foolish. Uninformed. Misled. Am I afraid. Despondent Pyr: One thing is certain. This installation was built differently than the others. A myriad of Reformation Spires can be deployed… indeed have been deployed when requested. To complete the circle. To ensure its inhabitants are preserved. Or perhaps I should say, "detained." Harbinger: To cover their sins. We stood. Silent. Unable to speak as they passed judgment. We could not defend ourselves. We could not reason with them. Hear this, Forerunners! Your Auditorium has fallen. The Endless found. Your sins undone. Today we return! Grand Edict: The Endless must be contained. I will inform the Criterion to proceed. Grand Edict: It matters not. Today we do what it takes to maintain order. To preserve our truth. Time will forget they ever existed. Grand Edict: If Halo cannot end them. It must imprison them. Grand Edict: When it is done, the engineers will be busy. We will learn their secrets.

I agree 100%. It’s really tough to rank them but I do think if I was forced to, it would be 2 3 Infinite Reach CE I go back and forth with 2 or 3 in the top spot though.
Is anyone else slightly annoyed on how the endless are being hyped as more dangerous than the flood? Like I don’t mind a new faction but it took a whole galaxy to defeat the flood and resulted in the forerunners extinction. Yet somehow the endless scared the forerunners? Personally I’m hoping their related to the primordial and the endless are just man men with the logic plague. Kinda like the didact
The endless are not affected by livingtime, no the Halos. If the flood were to take over the endless then its game over for the universe. So, yes they are bigger threat. Also, forerunners are not extinct. They are alive in amother galaxy. As are precursors, in a primitive, grass like form. 343GS is the custodian of Bastion
So the Endless are most likely what the Flood was before they became the flood. Lots of evidence for this in game such as the spores ambient effect being used in the after credits scene. Another easy to point out connection is how the Harbinger keeps quoting the Gravemind from Halo 2-3. I.e she says something like "Now I shall talk, and you shall listen." which is a direct quote from the that awesome Gravemind scene from Halo 2. Also seeing as how Zeta Halo is supposed to house one of these beings reffred to as like the Primordial or something. Basically the Forrunners based their society on the idea that they were the rightful race to instill order over the galaxy. They called this "the mantle" and basically became a psudo religious ideology. Well the Flood pregenitor race was the actual species that was supposed to judge their worthyness and found that they were not meant to carry the Mantle, and alludes to maybe humanity being the next race. The Forerunners attack, destroy and imprision all of said primordials leading to them shapeshifting into the flood spores in an effort to survive/fuck over the forerunners. This is why the flood is sentient and does things like goad humanity and the forerunners into a war with each other and choosing to not infect all of humanity all at once so that the forerunners would be weakened enough not to be able to resist the flood invasion etc. The blue light up squares being the images of humans, brutes, grunts, elites, jackels etc. Are most likely the beings Cortanas Guardians killed. Instead of them being killed, they are trapped in stasis like effect connected to the forerunners cybermancy. Hence those orange light up squares in the flood infected room are most likely the imprisioned "endless"/flood progenitors. Betting their boss will be the next halo games reveal.
I think the Endless, are the Primordials (the creators of the flood, forerunners, humans, etc). I also think the voices in the legendary ending are not for runners but AI controlling the strings in the background. A consistent theme throughout the books. Great video. Just beat the game myself today.
Now here’s the thing. If they were indeed precursors they would be still be susceptible to the halo arrays, my theory is that the endless are perhaps another creation by the precursors or another entirely different thing from them. Perhaps a race of sentient ai’s
I disagree, the game claims the endless are more dangerous than the flood, and the precursors ARE the flood. The ones who the forerunners killed to steal the mantle from Humans. When the forerunners killed them they mistakenly created the flood, and therefore had to make Halo.
The audio logs we receive from the start of the attack on Infinity exceed 4 minutes, the UNSC Infinity was destroyed without a fight but Escharum exaggerated the combat efficiency of his forces. Not sure why, the real amount of time was around 6 minutes which is still impressive. It should be noted that the reason I know the proper time is because of audio logs featuring the adventures of Captain Lasky abandoning his ship and crew, only ordering the evacuation _after_ he had gotten off the ship. Lasky is a bad ship Captain and doesn't deserve his command.
I kinda like that you put this in here, I thought it was crazy how lasky was pretty much one of the first ones in the ships to the ground, but I didn’t hear all of them yet so that is pretty cool.
We might learn later he was one of the first of the ship be added his bridge crew insisted on it since they knew he could lead the UNSC forces off the ground. Because he is a great leader and. Soldier and tactician
@@Grand_Master_Skywalker That's hilarious. He wasn't abandoning his crew on the ship he was _leading_ the lifeboats to the surface. Lasky couldn't lead anything from his escape ship *and didn't.* Halo CE showed us how a real Captain coordinates an evacuation to the surface.
I got the impression she was picking the name "Cortana". Right? To round out the Soft reboot? I kinda wish they owned the Marathon IP so they could just properly blend it together, as the original games strongly implied.
Just watched 'Entire Story of Master Chief' and this one. Thoroughly enjoyed them. Tons of interesting info. Never played Halo and I'm glad because I freakin' love the TV series. Like, addiction level love it, which is how I ended up here. I know that the majority of Halo players hate the series and I *think* that I understand. I've loved Tolkien's world for at least 50 yrs. Had to shut off Amazon's Rings of Power Ep 1 after 10 minutes of screaming at the screen in fury. 😂 Anyway, these Master Chief retrospectives are great. Will be awesome if the series writers incorporate John's game missions into the show. Still very early in the story so one can hope. 🤞
My favorite interactions with Chief and the Weapon are the ones where Chief sounds genuinely scared for her, during times that remind me of the previous games. When he has the Weapon disconnect, the way he says "Now." isn't just stern, it's frightened. He saw what happened to Cortana, he can't let that happen to the Weapon too.
The main thing that made me a fan of Halo is the story and the lore and even now im more interested in the lore than what the graphics, or the multiplayer is like. 343 has the potential to write one of the greatest halo stories with the return of Offensive Bias, the imminent return of the flood and we may even eventually see the Primordial in a Halo game...im all for it 343!!
The only stupid thing about this game was that it felt like an entire game was missing?? E.g. wtf happen between Cortanan claiming the Mantle of Responsibility and her being dealted; that would've been an amazing game. Instead this game starts like "there's these two gorillas you need to kill", "Earth is gone", oh "and Cortana is dead".
@thedragonaf1 ^that is EXACTLY what I was thinking! I’m sitting here playing like “wtf is going on? When did that or this happened?” I have played all the halos since CE and the story got better and better, and don’t get me wrong this is good too, but I too felt like an entire game was missing
Well simply put, Halo 5 failed miserably story wise and the only way they could make this game work is basically end the plot of Halo 5 as quickly as possible. It's explained in the game that the Weapon did lock down Cortana and it shows that the "two apes" had their homeworld destroyed by Cortana so basically it shows that everyone was basically gunning for Cortana. If that helps.
@@noble3515 why would that help? You just said things that were explained in game and on screen. The point that I was making was the plot of this game felt like it was missing an entire game. But if your saying it's because of low sales numbers then sure, end it by skipping it.
@@TheDragonaf1 what I mean is that the story line sucked ( don't act like it didn't) and there are game moments where they explain some of those questions you asked. They also covered a lot of the time between 5 and Infinite in the books. I could get where it seems like there is a full game missing but I'm glad that they got away from the story arc , it might not have been handled the best but I'm glad it's over.
The Campaign was amazing but there were so many un-answered questions about Halo 5 and this one that should have been answered by the end but all things considered 343 made a comeback with this one it was truly a great Halo game with modern gameplay.
12:04 to 14:20 conversation between AI and pilot, so emotional reminds me of Halo 3 when Chief had team/Family and starts new one 🥹🥹🥲🥲 *CRYING INTENSIFIES*
I’m pretty sure the man speaking in the end clip is Faber, the master builder. It would most likely be his task to either find a way to control time like the precursors did (which obviously he couldn’t do based off this) or trap them somewhere, and the best place to do that was a Halo.
This story kind of reminds me the story of god of war 2018 because of the fact that Chief is hiding stuff from Weapon and isn't really trusting anyone like Kratos. This halo game really came out well
Damn I love this game, they really turned it around from halo 5, they still need to go talk to bungie about how to make vehicle destruction and explosions though
So out of nowhere Cortona becomes good again after destroying an entire planet and then destroying a station full of spartans? I loved this campaign and the story but am I missing something?
Seeing chief floating through space was a moment of clarify for Cortana. “If you knew you were going to die, how would you live your life differently” was a big theme throughout the game, and she realised what she’d do differently, as she realised she was going to die.
@@omni6982 disagree. 4 was a masterpiece. Halo 5 was shit. This was just as good as 4 but that makes it a shit sandwich with 5 in the middle. It’s hard to come back from such a bad game which fucked up the lore

I think the dialogue that was happening in the background was in the past. I think Atriox is in the present and got that key from the habringer. In the last fight, she seem to be talking to someone saying "you have all what you need" or something like that. I think she gave that key to atriox who then freed the endless.
I may have missed something in the story I'm not sure. But anyway couple of times in the story The weapon say something is helping her, not at first I thought it might have been cortana, but of course you find out she really is dead, very dead. Then I thought maybe it was the monitors of the facility, but then you see that they get brushed aside rather easily. So I wonder when you fight harbinger at the end, the weapon says 2 3rds the way through the battle that something is helping her, now couple that with the legendary ending information drop. Could that invisible helping force be Offensive Bias the contender class AI that beat mandicant and the flood ?
It’s too bad the UNSC infinity was destroyed I was hoping to maybe see it reconstructed over the course of the campaign, I haven’t played infinite yet so maybe that does happen or maybe apart of my dies with that ship. Either way I still have it’s sister ship eternity.
the Infinity has a sister ship. It was still under construction when Cortona had her god complex. It might still be out there if the UNSC kept its construction a secret just as well as the Infinity's. I'm just upset we never got to see the Infinity next to the Spirit Of Fire
@@M1chael42O1 oh we better, they know there are people that like them, they were the first present humans to ever face the flood, not only that, they saved humanity when they stopped the Covenant from getting the Forerunner fleet, they deserve to be in the Main story and be critical
I just have one huge question How did cortana lose to the banished/UNSC? Like how were the guardians defeated, these massive peace keeping machines just dead
They didn’t defeat her she sacrificed herself so they wouldn’t fire the rings and whatever. The guardians are probably all deactivated now since she’s dead
I didnt understand that plot decision, why Would Cortana having all that power with the Guardians suddenly turn her head around and surrender so easily, just dont get what was the point there
She didn't do it reluctantly. The weapon (halseys idea) worked. Being an exact copy of Cortana made her (the weapon or Cortana 2.0) have all the abilities of Cortana 1.0. therefore, she was able to lock Cortana out of all the systems, rendering her useless. Basically the weapon pretended to be Cortana and kicked her out of control of all guardians and everything. Master Chief was then supposed to take old Cortana back for deletion but atriox destroyed the infinity and yeeted master chief out the window and went to Cortana to face her and make her pay for destroying his home world (which is why in one of the cutscenes, Cortana is surprised that atriox was the one behind her and not master chief)
Echo 216- I don’t understand I don’t understand you show him respect. He was a monster! Master Chief - yes but at the end he was just a soldier. Hoping he’d done the right thing questioning in his choices, damn that hit me hard!
You can really see the relationship issues. Chief always trusted people and did what he was told as long as it made sense. He still is that way. But with Weapon, he she gave him no reason to be a little temperamental and yet he is and it shows. In a nutshell, just working with her brings up the bittersweet memories and he doesn't wanna get close again
We all know the UNSC would of won if they were with the rest of the battleship fleets instead of being alone kind of sad, and for this new halo it would of been better if the flood was also involved one alst time
The UNSC Infinity actually had escorts, this is clarified in audio logs. However, Captain Lasky sent them out ahead to ensure the UNSC fleet could be defeated in detail.
The way Cortana acts at the end is so different from her impulse to be a genocidal murderer in order to achieve a so called “peace” in a similar way to Thanos. It just feels so discontent.
Is it me or is there a lot of plot holes, like where was lasky and plamer ? Haslsey and the arbiter were with chief at the end of 5 where are they? Where’s the spirit of fire? Where’s that lady from halo wars 2 that got trapped on zeta when it jumped to slipspace? Where’s blue team?
You hear about them in audio logs. Infinite seems to be disregarding the garbage that we’re halo 4&5. Infinite is a spiritual reboot, and there will be campaign DLCs throughout its lifespan.
@@Creed5.56 its a big dud. The love triangle story between chief and his many AI wifus doesn't live up to the legacy of 1-3. Chief is a weapon/asset of the UNSC, not some space robot floating around the universe stumbling on random halo installations. His personal story shouldn't be the focus but an interesting side theme. Also, watching cut scenes of his baby AI having an existential crisis is dogpoop.
@@deankruse2891 yep, don’t know why people think this plot is good. How you choke such an interesting and developed universe is beyond me. The had so many directions to go and chose this shit. I will never not think about what could have been. The AI is so cringe. Small doses is fine but main plot line is dumb
I don't think it would be logical to fear the weapon going rampant (rampancy is a disease of the aged AI), but I do think, logically, he was afraid Cortana would turn her on him the way she turned other AI's against humanity as for example, the station AI the blew up to kill 74 Spartans. I wish 343 had chosen to explore the nature of Cortana's delusion -- logic plague or whatever -- and made it clear how she righted her moral compass.... they kind of suggest she just changed her mind which is not plausible considering the level of evil she was acting at. Still, at least the writing is a huge step up from HALO 5 (though that isn't saying all that much).
hello ! I'm new to the whole Halo thing- i came here completely blind but thanks to you're other video's I'm starting to understand more and more !! :DDD
I'm very disappointed with the fact that the game did not take advantage of the lore associated with this ring. Too many questions were left unanswered. Who are the endless? How was Cortana really defeated by the banished,? What happened to Blue team? Where's Locke, not that I missed him? For me there is no real closer in this story only more questions.
Where are Cortana's Guardians? Where's Lasky and the other 5-6 thousand crew of the Infinity? Why does Zeta Halo have a single barren biome with no weather effects? Why is the performance so shit considering the world is mostly empty? Ugh, honestly, this campaign was pure ass and the recording devices tell a better story than 343 made us play through.
You realize they mentioned that Infinite will be a 10 year game platform? Also, you may want to pay more attention to the game a bit more. Cortana blew her self up and a chunk of the ring.
Right that is exactly what im thinking. Most importantly what happened to the arbiter and his covenant. Didnt they also mention the flood being a part of the campaign like a year or 2 ago? Matter of fact it really annoys me how we as the player didnt get to experience the time b4 this game where we were fighting against cortana. Its like they moved from the didact, to cortana, threw her away and moved on to the banished. There is no way the banished can beat cortana, who has the whole domain under her control, the forerunner army, the covenant, and tons of guardians. She destroyed their world, why cant she destroy their ships. She is an AI who can teleport anytime, why did she have to blow herself up when she could have stayed alive and help chief again
if the silent auditorium was detonated how come the Cylexes are not destroyed by the explosion, I mean a good chunk of the ring is gone. Also I suppose that if Atriox is Alive along with the Cylexes, there is no reason why cortana wouldn't still be somewhere. Also note that the left side of Atriox's face is burned. Compared to the first cutscene where he fights with master chief where it is not. You can see his cheek burned and lower eye lid hanging in the final cutscene.
I discovered your channel yesterday via halo infinite vidéos i like how you approach things definitely subscribing as halo is ma favorite game i wish you covered game i like such as half life and csgo or metro
I see everyone attacking the Harbinger after her shields are down, you guys know you don’t have to do that, right? Once her shields are down, her health will go down a set amount and then start the next phase. All you have to do is take down her shields
I still think killing off Cortana was the wrong move. They should have had her fuse with the weapon and have her make up for the things she's done not kill her off and give us another AI. The weapons cool but she isn't Cortana and Cortana shouldn't have been made a villain. 20 years with Cortana just for them to kill her is the equivalent of killing Rick in the Walking Dead. You can't have Halo without Chief or Cortana.
Does anyone else feel like the ending was...overly chipper? Like yeah...it's funny seeing Chief restraining himself from hugging Esparza, his suit would crush Esparza's spine like paper and all but it's not like they lost their flagship half a year prior with the crew scattered or anything right?
One question: for all the halo gamers when I completed the campaign the only thing I can't quite understand what the forrunners wanted to imprison the 'endless' may yet to be revealed to be a dangerous enemy is far worse then the flood simply is living host that attacks and consumes all ailen life as well as the halo installation rings atriox on one hand is alive and will fight another day and on the other hand john 1-1-7 is going to need all the help he needs to bring atriox down no matter the cost of humanity's fate is in the Masterchef's hands and I have no doubt everyone playing halo takes all our breath away In a emotional turmoil ride across the stars I really hope to look forward to the next halo game coming soon and this time nothing can ever again see how far we have come is going to exciting opportunity awaits us all
I hope I’m wrong and misconnecting dots. But Weapon tells Chief the signal Harbinger talks to is old. They then take a portal that fast forwards them three days. Chief says the ring is different. Then we see Atriox, but he’s missing his war paint and just looks different, possibly younger if it’s not just the lighting. I wonder if this ring has some time manipulation capabilities.
I think Atriox got flung further in time since he was there for a while. Brohammer thought the Chief was gone because there was no signal and the Banished thought Atriox was gone because he was missing for months, but the Harbinger was probably just holding him away for what felt like a few days to him, but was months to everyone else.
@@OfficialFedHater Ooo I like that too. That would give time for wounds to heal and paint to wear off. And his signal would just appear to be old because he’s been gone for months from everyone else’s perspective.
The weapon trapped her inside the Zeta Halo since it is kind of prison halo? then Atriox found the Zeta halo and tried to take control but Cortana would not help her and destroyed half the ring and Sacrificing herself so Atriox wouldn't take his hand on the things that was stored there which Scared Cortana and realizing she was stupid to think she bring peace to the Galaxy by taking a few Guardians and Policing Solar system as there were a lots of far more dangerous being in the universe that even Guardians and Halos are useless against them.
Dunno who they hired to write the story and fix their mess so far, but 343 really crushed it with this one, all things considered. Really enjoyed it. Long live Halo.
How the hell did Atriox take control from Cortana? As powerful as she was with Forerunner tech at the end of Halo 5, nothing but the Master Chief, armed with the weapon could stand in her way. . .😶🤔😑🤨

@@asneakychicken322 not a trilogy. Infinite will act as a plafor for future expansion like Destiny 2. The first expansion is called Halo: The Endless.

The banished kinda did that with their explanation in Halo Wars 2 and how the Covenant could never beat them and it’s implied that since they (the covies) we’re fighting on two fronts, that’s the real reason humans were able to beat them, which just kinda diminishes everything we did in the bungie games

We probably are gonna fight them later on as a campaign dlc or continuation
It seems like something different. Here’s all the information I’ve gathered through dialogue.
Weapon: There's evidence of an entire civilization that once inhabited this Ring. But… not Forerunner. Older. Different.
Weapon: It's tragic. A civilization that had it all under control. Until they didn't.
Despondent Pyr: These runes predate me. Older than even the Forerunners,
Despondent Pyr: My makers… the Forerunner's greatest fear was understood to be the Great Parasite. The Flood. A scourge that almost wiped out everything. I now believe this hypothesis to be incorrect. Their greatest fear is… was…
losing their power.
Or perhaps I should say, "detained."
Harbinger: To cover their sins. We stood.

What if the endless were the aliens that landed on installation 04?
Man men??
I think the Endless, are the Primordials (the creators of the flood, forerunners, humans, etc). I also think the voices in the legendary ending are not for runners but AI controlling the strings in the background. A consistent theme throughout the books. Great video. Just beat the game myself today.
The Precursors?
@Maverick Yes. However I was asking the OP if he meant the Precursors instead of the Primordials
@@guitarist4life00 aren’t they the same thing?

Anyway, these Master Chief retrospectives are great.

Seeing chief floating through space was a moment of clarify for Cortana. “If you knew you were going to die, how would you live your life differently” was a big theme throughout the game, and she realised what she’d do differently, as she realised she was going to die.
I think you can tell cortana from the whisphers that she is slowly regretting everything because she thought that doing that is good and to find peace

I think Atriox went back in time. If you look at the bottom left of the secret cutscene, it says 97, 368 BCE.
How did cortana lose to the banished/UNSC?

What about how the hell did the banished beat Cortana and all her guardians? Plus all the ai that flocked to her.
Cortana blew her self up and a chunk of the ring.
yea also the flood was associated with this ring as well, kinda sad they didn’t make an appearance
The flood will come back later I think... I think the games will need to progress a bit further.
Never played a Halo game or know anything about it but this was fun to watch... Watched the first one a d now m watching this one
I hope this gets turned into a movie!
me too
Harbinger sounded like Savathuun
if the silent auditorium was detonated how come the Cylexes are not destroyed by the explosion, I mean a good chunk of the ring is gone.
The weapon chooses its name " I'll be Windows 11"
Am I the only one who thinks the Harbinger sounds a little bit like Savathun?
Lol facts
Its the same actress. I checked, assuming it was Ikora lol
It's a shame the first mission didn't start on the Infinity. Only ever got to fight on the Infinity once back in Spartan Ops for Halo 4.
I see everyone attacking the Harbinger after her shields are down, you guys know you don’t have to do that, right? Once her shields are down, her health will go down a set amount and then start the next phase. All you have to do is take down her shields
Cortana should have said I love you. Will we ever hear Cortana say it?
im crying rn about cortana sacrificing her life for the chief
I still think killing off Cortana was the wrong move. They should have had her fuse with the weapon and have her make up for the things she's done not kill her off and give us another AI. The weapons cool but she isn't Cortana and Cortana shouldn't have been made a villain. 20 years with Cortana just for them to kill her is the equivalent of killing Rick in the Walking Dead. You can't have Halo without Chief or Cortana.
Just realised the deletion protocol is 034 Samuel. Is it a reference to Samuel 034?
Oh good, Valkorion is in Halo now...spectacular lol
We need the OG HALO back in the house
Agreed
Does anyone else feel like the ending was...overly chipper? Like yeah...it's funny seeing Chief restraining himself from hugging Esparza, his suit would crush Esparza's spine like paper and all but it's not like they lost their flagship half a year prior with the crew scattered or anything right?
“The Master Chief is no surprise to danger” was supposed to be “no stranger to danger,” I assume.
One question: for all the halo gamers when I completed the campaign the only thing I can't quite understand what the forrunners wanted to imprison the 'endless' may yet to be revealed to be a dangerous enemy is far worse then the flood simply is living host that attacks and consumes all ailen life as well as the halo installation rings atriox on one hand is alive and will fight another day and on the other hand john 1-1-7 is going to need all the help he needs to bring atriox down no matter the cost of humanity's fate is in the Masterchef's hands and I have no doubt everyone playing halo takes all our breath away In a emotional turmoil ride across the stars I really hope to look forward to the next halo game coming soon and this time nothing can ever again see how far we have come is going to exciting opportunity awaits us all
I mean, the reveal at the end for Offensive Bias, holy shit
Anyone notice that the Endless and the Banished have very similar symbols?
24:48 , beats a dying guy,
26:02 You showed him respect ,
😂😂, Nice respect Lmao
I still don’t understand how cortana was blowing up artiox’s home world and then all of a sudden she’s trapped on the ring?
Amazing video! 👍
How the hell did Atriox take control from Cortana? As powerful as she was with Forerunner tech at the end of Halo 5, nothing but the Master Chief, armed with the weapon could stand in her way. . .😶🤔😑🤨
Did you notice it says roughly 97000BCE when atriox walks up to the panel?
Possible the endless brought him back in time, but he still is dead. But his end felt kinda anticlimactic after the marketing and halo wars 2, so I’m almost thinking he’s still around somewhere
I think it might be the dialogue that is 97000BCE but not atriox? Like atriox is in the present but the dialogue between the forerunners are from the past
@@joebestavros or you know how they John and the weapon “time traveled” 3 days when they went in that portal… same thing but backward for atriox? But then you get into all the time travel paradoxes and it just seems like there’s plot holes all over this series now.
@@likeaboss1059 hmmm yeah I don't know what happened about the 3 day travel portal and even who opened the portal to begin with. Also if atriox teleported all the way back, why would the forerunners allow him access to something that they kept secret even from the monitor. I doubt they would have just given him the key.
@@kyledaniels9519 how did atriox die
DEWEAPONIZE Halo .it’s the new paradigm. Think about it. Think about the endless non weaponized story arcs. Weapons and Wars are so past.
There are much better expressions of strength, courage and intelligence.
Wish this game had more badass cinematic moments on a scale like the warthog run
I'm sure we'll get another Warthog run in a future addition game. How rare the runs happen make them special. So they need to be done sparingly or else they'll get stale
Wait u can play the campaign now???
So the Flood's coming back possibly? Would be nice to see if that happens
