Yours is beautiful, pristine. I think I saw only 5 digits on your odo as well. I got my grey ex-OPP 2011 at a dealer I found via Kijiji in Scarborough the week the pandemic started. Carfax said it was in use 2011 to 2019. Yours doesn’t seem to have the typical front wheel arch rust holes that mine did. A few other P7B’s I’ve seen for sale in the last year are equally free of rust. Makes me wonder if the OPP like Toronto and London police departments stored them a couple years before use, in which case they might have Krown-ed or Rust Check-ed them on arrival, even the once. I bought new Ford fenders from a Ford online parts dealer after attempts at repair by a “pro” then myself. First thing I did was replace the thermostat, as read cold. Then new magnaflow cats, which in retrospect I didn’t need. Then new ford steelies. Then Firestone firehawk GT pursuits ( the eagle RSA’s were way to slippery on wet pavement) and Firestone pursuit winters. How are your fenders, quarter panels and rocker bottoms?
It looks pristine, but the paint job could definitely be better. the wheel arches have some rust, but got that patched up. Underneath there is rust but it’s not making holes yet. Did have to replace the gas tank as that rusted through.
London also has a rigorous maintenance schedule and washes their cars every day as they have their own car wash and mechanics on site at headquarters. I have a 2011 ex London car i got at auction a few years ago for $2000, it wasnt even on the road until late 2016. No rust at all, the frame is still looking brand new, and the best part is all London police cruisers are outfitted with a $6000 LPG propane system so fuel costs me around $0.60-$0.70/L. Amazing cars

@@grancaminodrivingclub thanks brother. I sold her on the heels of the impersonations spiking after the shootings down east. As a civilian with 2 police services I began getting awkward looks from uniformed colleagues and decided it was best to part ways with the cars I had, and now I regret it big time! I have a pile of pics and history. Did you know that she was on the front page of news papers guarding the cottage of disgraced Col. Williams in tweed? She’s a beauty. That push bumper is a rarity. It’s a Patterson bar that was commissioned by OPP for years. They were simply designed and made for the OPP and destroyed after use but that one somehow made it to auction on another car and my buddy at Turner got it installed for me. Don’t let it go! when ford scrapped the Vic, the OPP found it more cost effective to get bolt on options from Setina and thus was the end of Patterson Co.
@@grancaminodrivingclub no sir! Whelen and FoMoCo partnered with the Taurus after the CVPI. Vics never had the “mirror beam” from factory. From factory now is the Whelen Ion, OPP would attach Whelen TIR3 lights when upfitting if they deemed the car needed mirror lights.
Nice. I have an 06 and an 09. I have the same push bar but still has the pads and siren on it. Heck, the whole car is unmolested from the police station I got it from. K9 car too. Only took 2 years to completely get the smell out.
If it’s my car there’s a dimple in the back left door near the bottom, the handle of the spot seized on me from lack of use, it had another double DIN stereo and a red park switch under the cup holders to trick the DVD player into playing while driving
What a small world! I always wondered what that red switch was for! I swapped out the stereo for an apple car play one. The dent is still there but the front fenders have been cleaned up, de-rusted, and repainted. She’s in good hands!
it's turned on and off via FORscan, just plug a ForScan cable and boot up the software on a laptop. It's called "Dark Mode" in the Light control module.
I much prefer the Mercury Grand Marquis. I have one, a 2006 model, that I've had for 9 years. It currently has 281,000 miles on it. I recently bought a like new 2007 model with only 47,000 miles on it. The Grand Marquis and the Crown Vic are basically the same car, but the Grand Marquis is more luxurious. Softer ride, softer seats, and it has a 2.73 rear axle, which means it will cruise at 65 mph just above idle. That's one of the reasons why it lasts so long. It will also get 30 mpg at 65 on flat roads with the cruise control on. Ideal for taking cross country trips.
No videos I’m afraid but you’ll probably have an easier job than we did. The previous owner did a poor job which I had to unpick. Bought the stereo, mounting plates and adapters from crutchfield, they guarantee it’ll fit.
I’m buying one for 6K and the car has 104,080 miles and the whole entire car has been rebuilt for me and has a ford OEM intake and makes about 260 hp and around 300 torque or at least close to that if not and it’s such a nice ass car to have and basically a sleeper muscle car with a V8 gonna put an exhaust and new air intake with a tune and make it a wide body and put a small spoiler with a different hood
An uprated exhaust would really complete the car, give it that deep V8 growl. I like the back as it is, a spoiler would definitely ruin any sleeper vibes!
my 2000 cv police special needed a replacement manifold and thermostat. Other than that tuned it up once. Trouble free at any speed. I still have not topped it out, but it will go triple digit easily.
My only thing about these cars that I recommend is that you be careful on launching them because the the transmission will glass itself. The 4r75e is glass at launches. One more thing is the windows motors will always fail. Always, I’ve replaced all 4 and had to redo my drivers window twice.
They suck replacing with the rivets, what is worse is trying to fool with a upgraded body armor door kit installed which gives even less room to put in the door regulator.
While researching this car I read it had the door armour but when I took the door cards off to fix the door lock actuators there was none there. Do the police remove it when they sell these cars or was it just never there?
@@grancaminodrivingclubthe door armor itself is rare, was around $1200 per door when new. Most units didnt buy them, or removed them when decommissioned to move to other vehicles.
Can these be converted to AWD/4WD??? I live in the northeast in the US and am a paid on call firefighter, id prefer a vic over a FPIS if at all possible
Your intake will fail it it’s never been replaced and it will destroy your ignition coils. That’s pretty much it in these cars if it’s been maintained. I’ve owned hundreds of p71 cvs
Hey bro I purchased my 2011 Crown Victoria Police interceptor 3 years ago and I only paid $1,500 for it All I had to do is replace the odometer and the brakes still save me a lot of money i added tinted windows a cd Bluetooth player, speakers, with backup camera and an alarm system. The cops will realize it’s a retired patrol car and it’s already sold so there should be nothing to be concerned about if anyone sees a police car that has its spotlight in the aiming position but it can’t be adjusted to be put down they’ll have to realize it’s not a cop it’s just an old police car not used by the police anymore
@@davidquinn9676 lol where did you get that idea from? In most cases they would pull you over for having your spotlight aimed up in that position, so why would they go through the trouble of doing something that's going to upset themselves every time they see it? that makes absolutely no sense. In most cases they usually remove them all together along with all other police impersonating equipment. This one is just stuck up because who ever installed it did not engage the handle into the gears properly. The current owner just needs to do a little research on how to take his apart and put it back together and it should be fully functional again. They're a little finicky to put together.

@@grancaminodrivingclub it’s clean if you find a minty black one Town Car !
I bought a 2011 for 13.5k after all the other fees...for 76k Miles and the cleanest paintjob ever, it looked brand new after I took it through the car wash I hope I can take care of it well because it just seems to be in great condition
I just recently sold my 11 Vic for 7k with 125k miles, I miss it realizing after the fact that it’s impossible to find nice examples, with the fair share of low ballers it took 1 guy to realize the worth and condition of the car and he gave me the cash instantly, they are great cars that are climbing in price and hopefully I can get back into one in the future
This story brings a tear to my eye. I hope the new owner looks after her properly!
Love my 2011 P7B greatest car ever made. Doing everything I can to care for her.
They’re going up in value now, so it will pay dividends if you do!
I got a 2011 in August. Extremely low mileage. Great car!
What colour? 😄 are you planning to modify it?
@@grancaminodrivingclub it’s a white one. I’m planning on getting a new radio that’s about it.

P71 is rated @ 250 HP unless Canada de tunes them.
I have a 10" CVPI and I Love it from the Maine State Police. I am Looking for mirrors exactly like the ones you have Do you want to trade unmarked ( Non Lighted) mirrors for your mirrors. I can't find them here in the States.
I actually owned this car before Turner and France bought it. I had taken it to upstate NY quite a few times and had it decked out with a lot of gear. I miss it more than I can explain.
I hope you can take some solace in the fact that she’s been well loved since you sold her.
I had a quick look online and the CVPI in front of the tweed house lacked the lights on the side mirrors. Weren’t they fitted at the factory?
@@grancaminodrivingclub no sir! Whelen and FoMoCo partnered with the Taurus after the CVPI. Vics never had the “mirror beam” from factory. From factory now is the Whelen Ion, OPP would attach Whelen TIR3 lights when upfitting if they deemed the car needed mirror lights.
@@grancaminodrivingclub I should email you a pile of pics and stuff of that car’s history
Nice car I'm no longer worried if I see a Crown Vic behind me I'm more worried a Tahoe or an Explorer
Same, but that fear of the CVPI still has a hold over so many people
The Ford Taurus/Explorer and Charger are the ones to look for now.
I had one same dash set up it was gold when I sold it it was in a movie called still a cop car with Kevin bacon
Boutta look fresh
Nice. I have an 06 and an 09. I have the same push bar but still has the pads and siren on it. Heck, the whole car is unmolested from the police station I got it from. K9 car too. Only took 2 years to completely get the smell out.
Haha, I hadn’t even considered that. No funky smells in this one, but I wasn’t the first civilian owner.

There is a wire they disconnect to prevent the dome lights coming on, I forget drivers door or under the dash drivers side
it's turned on and off via FORscan, just plug a ForScan cable and boot up the software on a laptop.
Any videos on instslling the new radio/tech in that P7B. Looking ot buy one soon.
I have exact color and year.
The 2004 and newer cvpi makes 250 hp I paid $2000 for my 2003 p71 6 years ago I still have it gonna need a trans soon tho the 4R70w is going out

It was $70 at Canadian tire. But you can get them online from Walmart as well.
Strange, I find my P7B vey firm with little body roll. Aren’t they rated at 250bhp rather than 230?
They are rated at 250hp
my 2000 cv police special needed a replacement manifold and thermostat. Other than that tuned it up once. Trouble free at any speed. I still have not topped it out, but it will go triple digit easily.
Hypothetically speaking, what’s the fastest you “might” have driven your CVPI?
@@grancaminodrivingclub Hypothetically, I might have not noticed until my wife said something if I went over110 MPH
Was the original motor removed or did they leave it in the car?
Everything under the hood is original
Well I know I'm 6 months late but question how many miles to km are on the vehicle I would really like to know
It’s currently at 185,000km. 1,300 idle hours.
@@grancaminodrivingclub No thay don't thay usually have a decal on the car saying if it had the armor installed with a certification.
@@grancaminodrivingclub it is options for the police cars, not a very common one unless the vehicle was fully kitted

You understand the 230 bhp from a V8 is not very much, especially when you consider the weight of this car. It does sound good though, I'll give it that.
It’s definitely not enough to be considered sporty, but the theatre and the soundtrack make up for the lack of speed
250 in 2011 and a few yrs prior. Still more than most police cars from the smog years.
@@aeyb701 I'm in the UK and the police back in those days (Motorway / Freeway type) used many very fast cars. Yeah its not fun in winter. 100-200 pounds of sand bags in the trunk can help with driving in the snow.
Yeah, it’s a great feature eh? You can either drive in the snow or have trunk space not both.
Why
Long may you ride.
250 horsepower.
Don't. Forget the copreas
I want one lol
The cops will realize it’s a retired patrol car and it’s already sold so there should be nothing to be concerned about if anyone sees a police car that has its spotlight in the aiming position but it can’t be adjusted to be put down they’ll have to realize it’s not a cop it’s just an old police car not used by the police anymore
So they lock the light before selling them? How can you unstick it?
@@davidquinn9676 lol where did you get that idea from? In most cases they would pull you over for having your spotlight aimed up in that position, so why would they go through the trouble of doing something that's going to upset themselves every time they see it? that makes absolutely no sense.
In most cases they usually remove them all together along with all other police impersonating equipment. This one is just stuck up because who ever installed it did not engage the handle into the gears properly. The current owner just needs to do a little research on how to take his apart and put it back together and it should be fully functional again. They're a little finicky to put together.
