Thanks for making this video, I had been wondering how the different methods compare. For people going the monster-farming route, I recommend farming the final encounter of Silo PHI Normal. It's only lvl 25 I believe, so it's doable early on. You just hop up on one of the train cars or boxes and let the gnawers keep spawning without destroying all 4 of the pods, avoiding the boss. With some deviated chops I would imagine it being even more effective.
I would put the corrupted plants in S-tier and the sproutlets at A-tier. You don't have to pvp to get sproutlets with planting and its very low on energy requirements. I have a stack that is several stories high with roughly 140 planters and one sprinkler in the middle. You'll also need a pair of growshrooms and 2 barrels. First I got to the growshroom containment boxes and get the berries and seeds. Next I remove the growshrooms (this is important). Next I dump all of the contaminated berries into the barrels. Then I go to each planter box and click "continued planting" which just automatically plants one seed and 1 fertilizer which is what I had done before. Once all boxes are planted I go back and reinstall the growshrooms. Now the growshrooms will automatically pick the seeds for me when ready but the seeds get the full benefit of the fertilizer. Now that I'm done I can go play for the rest of the day. Total time spent is maybe 15min.
Sulfur Chemist all the way. Once Pro Silos are available on your server money should no longer be a problem. It also allows you to be mobile and focus on a bigger farm. No need for a 30 water pump set up. 3 synth benches are plenty.
Two memetics I have that are great together. "Oil Processing" I can make stardust source from mixed fuel & stardust ore. Also the "Stardust Decay" which I can turn that Stardust source into acid. This is much faster then when I was pumping polluted water to make acid but with the bonus of ending up with tons of stardust source too.
there was another method like sulfur chemist using stardust source (stardust art of decay) 4:1 stardust:acid ratio in furnance there is a place like black fell oil field that dont have any water but with this specialization you can make acid with stardust. i know sulfur chemist is good but you cannot sell it below 50 but this specialization you can do that

@@MrSnowpaw1 pair it with stardust mining platform to safe time gaining stardust ore so I always had acid and stardust ready in my server acid goes between 50-75 if I want to survive climate of fast selling I need to go below that. And I never found a place with sustain acid and stardust source at the same place so here the option. Edit: oh I forgot stardust mining platform can operate faster with good Digby boy I had 1k/day/mining platform with 3/3 normal Digby. And you don't need to change batteries like stardust water pump
Just from highway pursuit which is 10 minutes you can get up to 4k sproutlets if you are in a team of 3 because it’s shared which you can turn that 4k sproutlets to 2k acid. Easy and best way
What about aloe vera with growth boost fertilizer? How much faster does it grow? It probably still doesnt offset the beenfit of wheat with yield boost or such but i would love to see some experimentation data on this.
One the acid farm i like is lost paradise do event upto last boss with chops acid food buff just wait out the timer 10 min down to last 30 secs killing all the mobs before killing the boss in a team nets 500-1000 Easy maybe more
refinery gives alot of acid if u use deviated chops with them and go with 3 or 4 ppl party, we did 3 hour run with 4 ppl and everyone got 3k to 4.1k so its like 1.2k/hour on average. Dont forget that you get premium fuel as well, on pve it has huge value cause of NM primewars and red plasma rockets.
The preparing takes more time than the event and you'll need permits. Not being able to teleport there sucks hard every time it's a false alarm or you're late.
The value of Sulfur Chemist is extremely volatile, since it's dependent on the economy of your server. If acid is getting sold for less than 50 EL, then the specialization is by far the worst method to farm acid. I'm playing in a very populated server, where it's getting sold for only 33 EL and if you decide to rely on Sulfur Chemist for acid farming, then you're shooting yourself in the foot. Refineries also have a volatile value, since it depends on how you're farming them. If you're just AFK-ing while not being in a group, not attacking anything and never starting your own permits, then it's going to be very slow to farm acid. Even if others are spamming tier 4 blue permits, if you don't put any effort you'll be getting ~170 acid/h. On the other hand, if you're in a group with all participants in the refinery and eating Deviated Chops, you'll be getting well over a thousand acid/h, which is going to be even better than normal mob farming and less tedious.
@@fu6817 It's not about grinding EL, it's about the fact that each acid craft via Sulfur Chemist costs 50 EL. This means that if they're selling for less than that amount in your server, it's more profitable to just buy it from other players.
The growth tooltip on the corrupted plants says 12 hours for all 3 types but the aloe ratio is 2:1 while the other 2 have 3:1, is the growth tooltip wrong for blueberry and wheat? Also, your mushroom guy reduces the growth time if you use it.

There's a higher lvl cargo event that can give several thousand sproutlets if done in a group for 10 minutes. They are once at a fixed time.

my server is quite a calm pve server and like no one ever shows up at cargo truck events, so for me it is sproulets all the way.

I totally agree with your statement on sulfur chemist. I simply looked at it from best way to obtain.
You'll just need to grind EL, it's not like it's a limited resource. I sell steel bars, 15k EL / 1000 stack.

at the start of the video, acid to portable fuel, is it the oil processing memetic or the super refinery memetic?

well the timings are wrong sadly. From my experiments Aloe grows in 24 hours and blueberry, wheat grows in 12
