This feels to me that feeling you get after someone you love gets diagnosed with a terminal illness. A relative I look after, was diagnosed last year with Stage IV lung cancer. October and November 2019 were two months I hated. Knowing something was seriously wrong but the not knowing, and the pain from the diagnosis doesn't really give that empty feeling, but a numb, crashing one. Especially when you don't know yet if treatment is yet available. I'm happy to say I'm celebrating another Christmas with her this year. And by the way things are going, I think we'll be celebrating more. Can't be more proud of her. Edit: a sad edit. My mam peacefully passed on the 6th March. Edit 2: I really appreciate everyone's concern. May God bless you all and may peace be with you.
Feels like stepping into a cathedral at night. alone. the cathedral your mother used to take you to every sunday. now she is gone. now they are all gone and you sit and you stare and you wait till it hurts you wait for the impact.
Oh waw i just discoverd this piece of art a bit after everywhwre at the ends of time and i'm shook this dude is a genuis of music he can excatly made you feel the emptiness and a lot of others feeling i was terrifed but at the same time i felt good His music said too many things that we can not express by words , it's just perfect and amazing!
An emptiness that echoes through purgatory, each memory echoing into the heart, and each time I remember I forget what it was like to feel the cool warmth of childhood.
It has so many words but none at the same time I could go deep a write a paragraph about how I feel after this but this isn’t a place to express your feelings
The lamb is dumb before his shearer In patient love his lips are sealed (2x) In patient love his lips are sealed in love In patient love his lips are sealed O teach us Lord, all wrath for bearing Thy calm endurance Thy calm endurance meekly sharing For malice naught but love to yield (2x)
This whole series is about an illness, you forgetting your memory but seems very oddly familiar, how distorted it gets, means more of the memories being lost, the more oddly familiar the song gets, the more memories being found, then you forget the track of time, then slowly dying.
This is criminally underrated.
so true

@@mr.hashundredsofprivatepla3711 thank you, pal. :)
This song is actually about someone's progression of alzhimers. The whole album is mega depressing to me. And I'm super sorry to hear about your loss.
may she rest in peace
@@gamermoment4327 that a completely different song by this guy
This is the music I had never thought I'd hear outside of my brain.

Beautiful.
An emptiness that echoes through purgatory, each memory echoing into the heart, and each time I remember I forget what it was like to feel the cool warmth of childhood.
This song relatable after someone you love died
It has so many words but none at the same time
I could go deep a write a paragraph about how I feel after this but this isn’t a place to express your feelings
Why not? You'd be doing the same thing as many other artists. Self expression is placing one's feelings into the hands of another to observe.
Godlike
This is underrated!
A stairway to the stars is such an underrated album.
A clean slate, yet feels unclean
the most sadness-inducing piece of musical art in the world
Agree!

Sounds like I just stepped into an abandoned building after snorting coke and someone in a Halloween costume is there playing the violin.
Oddly specific, is this uh based off a true story
This whole series is about an illness, you forgetting your memory but seems very oddly familiar, how distorted it gets, means more of the memories being lost, the more oddly familiar the song gets, the more memories being found, then you forget the track of time, then slowly dying.
literally everybody knows this
@@themogfather6320 so what?
actually this album and the previous one was about the shining
Uh, no, this album and the previous were inspired by the shining. Not memory loss. Yes, memories, but not memory loss.

Jack Torrance meets Delbert Grady...

This song refers to the part where jack and delbert are in the red restroom ?
Which is the orginal piece?
The original melody is "Das Lamm Verstummt/The Lamb is dumb" from St. Luke Passion.
