I have also heard that if you let your batter rest for 15-20 minutes before baking, that helps with the rise. Have you experienced/experimented with this?

Same with the people on cooking challenge type shows, who put things in their mouths, wipe their sweaty face with the same towel they wipe counters with.

Yes, that does help some! Not a huge amount, but there's definitely a small difference. I've found heat to be the biggest difference, though!

I made them! But they’re white for above? I reheated the oven from the bottom so in this case do I have to open the top as well?
