Dope channel. You got the hockey, you got the mountain biking, you got the skateboarding... Looks like you're just missing skimboarding now. And/or surfing :)
Dam I haven’t been on a skim board in like 10 years. That’s one spot I never could get the hang of. But it’s great to see a fellow mountain biker. I started like 1.5 years ago and I’ve been loving it
I use to play Narch every year but just don’t have the time anymore. I’m actually suppose to play in finals this year but don’t know if the team is still going. If not I have another team I could jump on so we will see. I take it you play Narch?
@@HockeyAdventures No, lol. I haven't played/coached/reffed in 10 years. But I wanted to watch and figured I could take my camera and produce content for teams since support/production is very light in the inline world. If you come down in July lemme know. Can film for you and/or go biking/surfing.
Thanks I will let you know man! If you have Instagram send me messages @hockey.adventures so we can stay in touch And yeah the inline world doesn’t get to much coverage and I know a lot of guys would appreciate it. Coverage is getting better with pages like MD Media and Roller Dad news
I’m so happy to be back on the ice! The main reason I do more roller videos then ice is I just have more access to roller rinks then ice rinks. The other thing is I grew up playing roller and didn’t start ice until 2019. But rinks are opening up again in California so hopefully soon I can get more ice videos
At first it was weird but not too hard for me. I learned how to stop on ice years ago so didn't have that problem. The thing is both skating styles are so similar just with minor changes. The more time on skates the better
@@HockeyAdventures cool, glad to hear it was an easy transition! I took up roller hockey during covid so I'm gunna have to try skating on ice. I wonder if I'll be a better ice skater now hehe
Yeah peoples spouses did come. The tournament is really laid back and chill. She won’t be out of place at all. Everyone is super nice and gets along. You’re going to have a great tournament
Honestly it was a tun of fun. Probably the most fun I have ever had at a tournament. They did a good job running it and setting up the draft so the teams were pretty even. It is a beer league tournament that has all skill levels. I highly recommend it
nice footage and overall quality!
Glad you had fun! Hope to see you at another one!
Don’t worry you will. Eventually

@@HockeyAdventures Totally. Dangerous af but pretty well rounded hobby. Do you come down south for Narch or any tourneys?

Your too underrated
Thanks, we just need to find a way to tell the all mighty algorithm this lol
pretty cool to see you do some ice hockey stuff, what makes you normally choose roller over ice (at least in your videos)?

@@HockeyAdventures oh cool, how was the transition skating wise? was it much different than rollerblades?

Nice content.
Did anyone else’s spouses come? Would mine feel out of place at the draft party, or was it just laid back. Just signed up for my first.

What level/div is this?
How did you like the tournament? well run? balanced? Looks fun, may have to sign up for the next one , or nashville....
