Dias has the best defense skills and leadership, ake is the most hardworking and focus, akanji is ok in every category and also stones has the best technique compare to other center back
Mate as a city fan we all know akanji can’t defend and cannot win 1v1 duels or aerial duels. He’s there for the pace and his ball playing ability

Which rubbish technique does stones have. Since man city bought him, he has never been most outstanding defender in a season. So many mistakes at the beginning. Had more time with Pep but took so many years to grasp Pep's methods. Laporte immediately showed his quality, improved the defence, diaz immediately shows his quality, improved the defense and best player in league. Ake had so many injuries,took him 1 or 2 seasons and now he's a super defender, dominating all best attacking players of opponents. Akanji first season and has already improved the defense playing center back,right back. Stop overrating stones. He's finally become good but without him, city will carry on nicely.
With the defense we saw in Bayern game to stop speed wingers we are not afraid but hope Eddie can make continued safes like he did in Bayern game. We will hold the hope till we realize at the end that we have finally make it. I tell you that day every pure CITIZEN can't hold his or her tears. We are winning this season. Come on CITY 💙💙💙

Very fun to see Ake be so good after at very tough first season when he was on his way out.. Dias back at his best ...Akanji what a signing! ...Stones defending and with Rodri in midfield... and young Lewis getiing his big breakthrough... do we miss Cancelo? NO.. Cancelo is great in a team were he dont have to defend.. no doubt Ederson need this strong defence wall.. without it he lets in easy goals like he done earlier this season.. with this defence from the start of the season the league would been over.. pep going out in media and telling the truth about the players poor performance has really helped.. now they play like i thought they woule with Haaland.. winning the leauge twice without a stiker ..and not winning it with the best stiker would be insane.. so far peps overthining have worked but i would almsot take any managers in the world expect pep in a ucl final.. Gundogan as the only defensive midifiler OMG... and now playing with Rodri/ Stones or Rodri/ Lewis

I was shocked to see Walker not in the XI aginst Bayern. I thought how would this slow defense stop Sane, Coman, Davies. After seeing the match, I am now fully convinced this system should be applied in the UCL. Davies, Coman, Sane all could not use their speed to bully Citys defense. If city progress to the semi, i can say it would also work aginst Vincious and Benzema too. These 3men defense + Stones give city stability defensively. All the best City.

Crazy to think last year’s back 4 was: Cancelo, Laporte, Dias, Walker. And that was considered one of the best defences in the world. But now with this year’s back 4 of: Ake, Stones, Dias, Akanji it has been miles better. And 3/4 (dias exception) of them were considered ‘backups’.

we had problems in our defense we lost our defense before real madrid first leg that's y we lost the champions league i'm 100% sure if we win champions league this year we have to bow with respect to aké ruben stones akanji and rodri they're the key that will give us the champions league for our first time ever.
Usually goal keepers who can help you to get a title but in our case ederson can't catch nothing but the wind so we count on our defense in ucl you have to not consiede goals before you think to score .
Agreed. People forget fernandinho was playing right back in the first leg against real, and walker came of injured in second leg. Our defence was compromised heavily. Plus Laporte was terrible. He was the reason Madrid won. Now we have this exceptional defensive unit, I want to play Madrid again. We need to get revenge.
