I wonder why NASCAR didn't include Brett Griffin telling Justin Haley that it was indeed raining before the my got to turn 1
Why do you think that it? They were trying to cover it up. It was raining for a whole lap. There were fans in turn 1 who said it was raining for a lap. Justin hailee radio said hey it’s raining but don’t lift. About 15 sec later they enter turn 1 and wreck. Nascar had time to stop the race

The entire race. Daniel's wreck was eeriely similar to Dale Sr's in 2001 😢 & I've never seen Chris Buscher & Justin Haley soooooo mad 😡 ..... Nascar should have called it .... There was a lot of drivers that could have been seriously injured.

I’m actually surprised Radioactive showed the truth of what went down instead of covering up, censoring the drivers and teams, and protecting NASCAR from the embarrassment from that rain crash.

Nascar is the only racing league that stops for a little rain. Just saying
@@rileyfair5 on road courses, they’re not too bad. They can race in the rain on circuits, but they can’t race on road courses in the rain on standing water and puddles.
Oval racing in the rain in general is just not supposed to be
@@rileyfair5 That's because rain racing is incredibly dangerous in a series like NASCAR, and practically speaking impossible on ovals, where grip is everything, especially heavily banked tracks like Daytona, with it's 31° corners.

This race felt like I was watching a rerun of the 2019 Daytona Summer race but without Justin Haley winning, it was Austin Dillon.
Also not to mention just like in that race, Backmarkers got great finishes.

I always say your In it to win it at Daytona, well Dillon looked like he wasn’t going to win until the Big Crash, Proof if you enter, there’s always the chance you will win
Yes but mostly at Daytona and Talladega! Especially when they send you off into turn 1 into a thunderstorm! So glad they made them finish the race but still bummed the 3 won

Race was fun, action was decent, finish was boring, imo 2nd worse race of the season
This race was so stupid. Not only from how some of these drivers were racing throughout, but NASCAR not throwing the yellow for rain, and drivers had to suffer from an unnecessary pileup to give austin dillon the lead. Stupid race

Look I agree with those drivers that were mad What the heck were you thinking nascar no consideration of the drivers safety everyone at the track was saying it was raining lap before Biggest mistake nascar could of ever done 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
I get that the officials were in some hot water by not throwing the caution for that rain, but it really felt like a waste of time trying to get those last 20 laps in.

Hamlin lifting letting truex gain a spot is ridiculous. It should be as legal as intentional spin to bring out caution. Nascar putting drivers in danger is just as pathetic. Please for the love of racing bring Nascar back and get this garbage to the end of the driveway.
