More great tips Rob! I've been on gig salad for a few years and haven't booked a single thing. (I've kind of given up on it for the past year) I have found that so many people just go on there to price shop. I have found that through talking with other magicians in my area and realizing that people were contacting me, a kid show guy, and a christian magician for the same holiday office party. Rob, thank you for this video. Can you give a little information on what causes the wide swings in your rates? What are some of the drivers of the rate you quote?
I get these emails from them asking for me to reply to requests from said person, I send something back - then I never hear anything back. Is gig salad real or??
Of course you got a lot of leads on Gig Salad. I'm sure any ex-MTV host would be able to do the same...for an average nobody like me, it ain't that easy...I wonder how much money Ryan Seacrest would make from Gigsalad...a hell of a lot more that any average Joe...
