Hiring Intent Off to a Good Start | Tech Jobs Report | February 2024

New tech employment data suggests that 2024 is off to a promising start. Technology companies added nearly 18,000 workers in January, the second consecutive month of job growth. The unemployment rate for tech occupations remains at 2.3%, below the national rate of 3.7%. Employer job postings for future hiring increased to more than 392,000, including growth in positions working with artificial intelligence and offer hybrid, remote or work from home options.
