Back in the day when I was a carpet installer.. I would have loved that, especially on big commercial jobs on concrete, pounding tack strip....I alway just used hammer... you never want to lose the acquired skill to pound a concrete nail in with 2 hits, first to drive in second to sink it... a 3rd hit usually caused the concrete to break.. sometimes a bit of contact cement was good
They wasted an opportunity here. Don't be lazy, go out on site with a tradesman and do a job that the tool is intended to do. Talk about the different noses, washers and clips.
i want to buy one to install metal stud but i dont know what size of nail do i need to use for metal stud to concrete i will appreciate your share of knowledge
Omg. I hate when people put loud AF music while someone is making a review/tutorial video. At least choose a smooth music with 5-10% audio that of the guy talking
This unit would have been incredible IF it had been designed it to shoot a MINIMUM of 2.5" (ideally 3") pins! You canNOT adequately fasten 2x4s to concrete with only .75" penetration.
jetsetjoey it's not made for dimensional lumber it is made to fasten metal track for metal studs. If you were to try a gun such as this with 3 in pins you'd likely split the wood

My Ramset doesn't split the wood, so DeWalt should be able to make a gun that doesn't split the wood...
I am curious if it will work on brick in addition to concrete.
Well, DeWalt makes a Ramset so I guess that answers our question lol.
If this would do 3" so I could attach 2x4 to concrete... Holy shit I wouldn't blink an eye about buying this.
