I miss sonny and cher
All I can say is that it brought back soooo many GOOD MEMORIES of all of us at 10 to 15 years of age laying on the living room floor watching Sonny and Cher with my parents. We're all grown up with families of our own,,parents are long gone,,, and the stuff on TV doesn't compare to the GREAT SHOWS we used to watch. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR TAKING ME BACK TO A TIME I LOVED SOO DEARLY!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊

Watching her give Sonny's eulogy is heartbreaking.
I don;t think they ever truly had the "I am madly passionately in love with you " it was a unique friendship that they though could turn into marriage but it wasn't meant to be.

I was around seven or eight years old and my mom pregnant with my younger sister when this show aired and have to say that without question growing up in the 70's and 80's will always be some of most incredible and unforgettable times. It's also interesting how he's talking about politicians in this show only to later become one and that it's now been twenty six years since his passing.
@Chereverywhere - To me, the opening and closing sequences are the best parts about the show...I always would get excited at the endings cuz I would hope to see Chas lol

Yeah it breaks my heart that her last few tours. Sonny would sing his part from the big screen and Cher would sing live. She finally settled into acknowledging that he was her one true love!!!
@@halfbreed4life62 She was with him for 11 years. When she first moved in with him as his housekeeper she was 16 but said she was 18. Screwed Warren Beatty back then, slept with rather a lot of men but non-sexual relationship with Sonny until she was 18.
@@Friendofstfrank Yep I know all that and more. I know it took her a very long time to settle down. When she did Sonny was already gone. As I said on her last concert run she was doing Sonny & Cher songs and she'd had video of him singing his part and she'd sing hers live. It was heartbreaking since I've watched her since I was a kid. Plus since we're both half-breeds...her Cherokee & I can't never remember the country her mom came from. But, I'm blackfoot on g- mom's side lakota Oglala Sioux on pawpaws. My dad was 1/2 each..my mom was English Romanian. I've admired her for a long time. Spoke to her a couple of times on Facebook.
But with all that said. I still feel sorry for her. There was a un breakable bond between her & Sonny. But, hey it happens. I still think it's cool that her & chastity & Elijah would hang out at Sonny & his wife's house.

Sonny was always very nice and the people of Palm Springs absolutely adored him when he was their mayor. It was extremely nice and approachable unlike his famous EX

Interesting that Chastity wants to look like her father? Whether that was scripted or not it should turned out to be true of wanting to look like a man.

I can only imagine. She hated wearing dresses and hated when they used to try to dress her up like Cher. She liked it better when they dressed her like her father. @@donnalombardo1135 God made Chastity transgendered for whatever reason. This was his journey and he's happier living as Chaz. I think there's more to gender than the body parts. There is also gender identity in the brain and in some rare cases, the brain doesn't match up with the anatomy. It's a birth defect. If you don't think gender comes from the brain, read the story about David Reimer. He was lied to. He was born with a penis and something happened to him as a baby were his penis was injured so bad, the doctors couldn't repair it, so they removed the penis and advised his parents to raise him as a girl. So this kid knew nothing. He didn't know he was born a boy, his parents lied to him. He didn't have the anatomy of a boy (because they removed his penis when he was an infant). But there was something in his brain while he was growing up that told him that something wasn't right. He did not feel like a girl even though he had the anatomy of a girl. He didn't have the body part of a boy so how did he still know he was a boy? His brain was telling him he was a boy. So there has to be something in your brain that tells you what gender you are. It's not just looking down and seeing what you are, there's more to it. In David Reimer's case, his brain matched the body he was born with. In Chaz's case, her brain didn't match.

Chastity was absolutely adorable. Why on earth she wanted to change. She was cuteness overload. Its sad when he wrote in his book that he never knew his mother well as she was always away. Its evident watching these shows that they were like strangers to her.

There are LOTS of Armenians and Italians with blonde hair. Depends on what regions of those countries someone is from.
Cher's mother, Georgia Holt, was also part Dutch with blond hair and Cherilyn's half-sister is also blond. There's lots of blond in the genes.

It seems to me what Chastity was implying as she wanted to live with Sonny and visit her mom occasionally which is ultimately what happened she lived with her father at about 5 years old but it was kept out of the press. "Mommy" didn't want to be bothered... with either one of her children actually.

I just love watching these videos. You can tell that Chastity didn't like being in the body that she was in. When Chastity became Chaz. You could tell he was much happier. Chaz is one very brave man. I applaud him for who he is and who he became now.

As a tomboy growing up it looks like kids are being forced in to making sex changes before they have grown up and really know what they want. I loved Trucks, every king of toy gun, wearing boys shirts. I told my neighbor I was going to be a boy when I grew up. I thought that boys toys were more fun My mom was a bit of a tomboy and could climb trees as well as they could She didn’t push me to be more feminine or tell me I was being too masculine. Whats more I didn’t have adults at school asking me what sex I was and hooking me up with a counselor that started me on pills to transition to a boy. I grew up and realized I liked being female though I’m still not in to girly girl things. I do love flowers, sexy underwear, and always liked guys ( none as much as my handsome husband). I’m glad I didn’t get pushed into feeling I had to change to fit someone else’s idea of me!
