We need full presentation back… with teams running out the tunnel and shots of the arena from outside like the old games! It would be cool to have an intermission report and new commentators and scoreboard! We need all the sights and sounds to be more realistic! They need to remove the glitch where you're in the offensive zone, the puck literally hits your stick, you go to shoot, the puck bounces off your stick, and then, instead of shooting, you just randomly punch a dude. I know some people defend it and claim it isn't a glitch, but EA constantly claims they try to make their games as realistic as possible. Never watched an NHL game where a player thought they were getting a one-timer, the pass got deflected, and then the player just threw his arms out and hit someone by accident because of it. Cross-checking either needs to go completely or get reworked. I get that they think they're making it an anti-spam thing, but no. A lot of times, I will bump someone and they'll lose the puck. The puck will go to someone else, I'll skate over to that guy and hit them too and get called for cross-checking. How is that spamming hits? That's literally just good defense. I swear I saw in one of their deep dives that they were going to make it so that defensemen with their backs turned didn't make insane plays without ever seeing the puck. I can assure you, that is still a very frequent occurrence. Defensemen will have their backs turned and steal every pass better than my forward can steal passes he's looking at. You'll see a defensemen skating backwards and still be able to poke check you accurately without ever even facing the puck. Also, if they want to penalize a player for spamming a button, make trips more frequent. There are defensemen who are just out there spinning around and spamming poke check, and they'll get the puck more often than not without ever taking a trip. Why do you skate slower when you have a breakaway? This was intentionally patched into the game, I just don't know why. Shouldn't breakaways be a reward? Why should you go significantly slower just because the other team's defensemen are out of position? It has made it WAY too easy to get poked from behind now. Like a play that is incredibly rare to see in the NHL is now the expected outcome in this game. And let's talk goalies too. I know they added a bunch of goalie animations, but did they actually test any? I have MANY clips of these animations resulting in the goalie being DEEP in the net with the puck in their gear and yet it's still no goal. That's not how that works. Sometimes, goalies will literally defy logic to make saves they have no business stopping. Like once when a goalie's left leg went directly through his right leg to make a save that no human being could ever make. Every other sports game fan base knows we get the weakest game each year. It would just be nice to not get laughed at for playing the NHL series. Please, just for once EA, make a game we can actually be proud to play.
Customization in HUT is a must. And quite frankly I want more customization in entire game. Not only own logos, but own music. I would love to use my own goal song that I’ve created with AI after every goal. Also let us name teams without link to a certain city/country from the list. Tutorial is a must also. As a new player whose last NHL game was in 2009 (I played it on keyboard), NHL 24 was really difficult to adapt. I still don’t understand how to pass properly, especially how to make those criss-cross passes that everybody doing. In franchise mode I would add three way trades. IDK why it is not a thing in a sports sim games. Also I want every single NHL, AHL and legend player to have own realistic face. Not having realistic 3D models is shameful. And, of course, bring the game to PC already. Not making sports game for that platform in 2024 is ridiculous and the reasons for not doing that are laughable.
For the last point - PC - maybe I can provide some insight To be clear, just speculation but something we've discussed a lot on stream They have issues selling copies of Madden on PC as it is (the all time high player count on steam is like 6k, and Madden sells way better than NHL) - and porting a large game like NHL with online capabilities can cost over a million dollars (according to various websites and articles) They would be losing money doing it, so I can see why they won't We're talking hundreds of thousands in lost revenue
I'm an avid franchise player and also would love to see the coaches show emotions during penalties, goals, wins, milestones, etc. Winter classic would be awesome and also maybe to spice things up in franchise mode, we could create our gm and during the trade deadline and be in the war room listening to scouts seeing who theyrecommend we trade or trade for even during the draft same concept.
I want AI generation faces on draft talents in franchise mode. Also being able to go back qnd view qll statistics season for season when the franchise is finished (year by year rosters and highlights from peak moment msybe as a summarized movie also to relive the moments).
I want to see the game have just a smidge of actual hockey smarts. You know, like passing to the obvious player instead of someone behind the play. Or maybe not standing in the shooting lanes. Or maybe even getting out of the way of the teammate carrying the puck. I know, I'm asking for the moon and the stars.
Make fighting more realistic…two guys dancing around while the linesman watch…have the linesman more involved jumping in to break fights up…falling to the ice with players…ref’s in middle while players attempt to throw punches just like real games attics….
I would love for them to make all HUT cards tradable, even if that they get rid of trades in the AH. I want to be able to do a full rebuild whenever I want again, like in the old days. One major reason the game gets stale is post tots, my team is locked in with an untradeable line up.

I honestly want to see a “create-a-uniform” mode where you can make a custom uniform for any of the 32 NHL teams using logos from their past or present (basically make a new custom alternate or specialty jersey for your favorite team to use in franchise, be a pro, play now, etc). It would especially go great with a return of the outdoor games as you could make your own WC/SS uniforms for when your team plays outdoors.
I've been "quiet quitting" NHL for some months now. I've spent money on it, but never stopped spending on it this early. I just got so turned off competing against assholes online. I haven't renewed my ps+ subscription either. So, EA has to step up big time for the offline players to convince me to return for NHL25. I'm done playing online, and it feels so good.

I would love a Winter classic mode and in my opinion I believe that a Be a ref mode would be cool something different and also I would like a arena creator thing where people make custom arenas upload it to a vault and you can play in them and be able to choose what rink you want to play in during a game. Make the rinks more realistic instead of slapping the Redwings logo on ice for example and saying it is Little Caesars arena. All the arenas are the same and I feel like it shouldn't be that way. I like the feeling of playing in my favourite teams actual arena instead of a completely non realistic one. I know it might be hard and some people might not like the idea but I think it would be a good touch. I also think it would be cool if the home team in offline modes got their real announcers like if the leafs were the home team they would have Craig Simpson and Chris Cuthbert commentating. this also might be too much but I would like to see it happen. Be a Pro Franchise And HUT need something new to do in them. It has been the exact thing for so long copy and paste every year. They need to update them in my opinion if they want more people to actually enjoy playing the game! It's great that the EA team made a solid effort at providing objectives that produced decent rewards this year which is all fine. The problem with EA NHL 24 is the game play absolutely sucks and has zero integrity. The game play itself is the worst it's ever been. Every single shift is littered with WTF BS garbage.
Here's my wishlist as an offline player: - Be a pro as a real player (EA already has this in FIFA and it was in the older games) - AHL and CHL added back to be a pro - Skip cutscene option in be a pro - All star game in be a pro (They used to have the CHL all star game before NHL 21) - Leagues outside the NHL in franchise mode - Add back the retro goalie masks from the old NHL games (These are in the game already, you just can't equip them anymore) - Better facial customization - Arena editor (Like in MLB The Show)

I would love to see the ability to give No Trade or Modified No Trade clauses on contracts to sign players. Or signing bonuses. Makes it more realistic and makes Free Agency more exciting because right now, it's just how much a team will throw at players. Plus, it makes it harder to make trades of those same players
This was the first year I waited until the game was free to get it and I'm glad I did. Feels alot like last year with some gameplay tweaks but other then that? 89.99 in Canada for new releases these days so it's hard to justify the purchase for nearly the same game even if you have the 💸.

I want Online Team Play back. I want to be able to play with randoms or create parties to play online and drop into matchmaking while playing with NHL teams. The days of having like 12 people in an Xbox party and creating your own lobby on OTP and playing as actual NHL players similar to World of Chel was peak NHL.
take a look at the presentation trailer of College Football 25, that's not how you present a sports game like in NHL 24, especially the flex moments celebration which looks absolutely arcade, that has to be removed from NHL 25
I would like to see difficulty tiers added to objectives so the skilled players can do the difficult stuff to earn a player quickly and the scrubs can do easier stuff (that will take them longer) to still earn the players that they arguably need on the team more than the guys who are only doing it for fodder.
Would love some upgrades to franchise mode. Rivals, just to give games meaning. Hot streaks, cold streaks. Player individuality, like traits and personality. Like the A.I would start shit with the opposing teams. Not all of them. Helps momentum, player psyche.
My wish list (mainly for PRO & FRANCHISE):: - custom league & replace teams with your custom teams (PRO) - be sent down to AHL & ECHL (PRO) - able to play overseas if your not getting offers in NA (PRO & FRANCHISE) - introduced new leagues around the world such as; EIHL (UK), AIHL (Australia), NZIHL (New Zealand) and so on. - new mode…coaching. Work your way up from ECHL (or even overseas) to the NHL. You few the entire game from the bench and can’t control the players (just watching). You have a notepad/clipboard (exactly like the tab you bring down to sim to next shift on PRO) where you can view and change; lines, tactics, strategies, coach challenges, timeout, pull goalies and give commands to captains.
Dude I have been saying the same exact thing about player switching. If button icons work for passing… player switching should not be much different. Lots of good stuff in here! Though… I will admit, my hopes are not high!
To add onto the winter classic you could have a event in hut when it comes out where you like play someone in a single game and if you win you get rewards if you lose you’re done
Do NHL Eras…allow us to start in the greatest nhl season ever 1992-1993 and have every draft class after that and add expansion teams at right times…let us play through two decades
Here is what I think we need. We need practice mode fire around 50 pucks before a game would be awesome! We need a be a ref mode. We also need big scrums.
How about if you score a hat trick for your club, you get to chose a hat that was thrown on the ice that represents your club. Then you can go and wear it in drop ins to represent your club. Also, for Be A Pro why not add mini games to increase attribute instead of training. You could use the All-Star skills competition for said mini games. The better you do the more you progress. Two examples of games that do this are FIFA and MLB the Show.
What I would like to see added is the ability if your playing as the home team be able to choose to go first or second in a shootout during a game or shootout mode it’s always the away team that goes first also winter classic would be nice
They need to add community events. For example everyone’s SB points get added up from old gen and new new and we all have to get x amount of points for let’s say a ultimate choice pack doesn’t matter and there are rewards along the way. Make this a monthly thing and tie it into the events that happen by allowing bouns points for using the current event cards. I also think for a competitive season you could do ps vs Xbox. You’d only match an opposite console and whatever team has more points/wins at the end gets the big reward like 10 but champs collectables or a player and the other team gets a couple packs based on how they did.
A small % of people might care about this, but i really want more depth players. When a bottom 6 guy or 3rd pair D man has a big moment it great game, give em a card. The same names gets 5, 6+ new cards all the time. Give us variety.

Thrash I like your thoughts here (especially on a better practice mode I mean look at FIFA/FC 24) but one thing Ill say is that adding the Winter Classic would probably be a big hassle. They would most likely have to add that stipulation in the contract with whoever owned the stadium but moreover, the contract is only good for one year so you would be spending all these resources to Scan in a new arena that would be good for that one new game and this would have to be repeated each year. I just don't see that being something that we should want them to spend the limited time and resources on for how much use you are going to get out of it.
Full presentation with new win/loss animation sequences , Winter Classic mode, new faceoff system that tosses aggressive players off the dot, actual post-whistle fights even involving the goalies and refs and fans banging on the glass, new fan models, and for the love of God leave PS4 behind EA.
I want a save your own goals/saves/hits, but only get to save 2-3 for each player…..hell go as far as the money to get from tickets sales you can open packs….better you are the more people you have!
Franchise mode needs some new presentation to it. The ability when you select a 33rd team franchise that you hire coaches before the expansion draft and not just be given random ones you fire in year 2. Bring back raising the championship banner in the home opener. make sure not every defense-men AI created is pinch/shoot or pinch/cycle. Make a special cut scene for the draft lottery. Minor stuff I know but it would do alot for franchise mode. HUT & MUT is honestly one of the most boring modes in both EA Sports games and not worth the money.

With such a huge voice in the community, i rlly wish you were able to touch on more important details than winter classic and draft champs… this was probably the worst nhl ultimate team gameplay in 3 years. There is so many things to improve on that need to he mentioned.
I personally really like the gameplay this year - my favorite since 14 This video was for additions to the game, not changing things in the current game HUT Customization, Winter Classic, Draft Champs, Tutorials and New things to BAP/Franchise Things that were not in NHL 24 - if that makes sense
Draft champions had a way different reward system, and if you lost you had to restart It was also way more competitive, where as rush was arcadey and winning didn't matter

Ability to hold R2 at matchup screen and quick menu for a Jersey change rather than backing out so many slow menus. Practice mode to shoot at an empty net with targets in the corners 5 hole etc. was in previous nhls. Used to show mph on shots too. Mini modes. I want to drive a Zamboni on a wild racetrack while I'm waiting for a player to sell. I want to pick an enforcer and skate to hit street objects as hard as I can to practice hitting. Fight mode. You just pick a guy and matchup for fights only. Street mode with sticks etc. Casey Jones Ninja turtles. Mascot racing in little buggies. Passing games to pass into crazy targets and objects around the street. All these games would reward small amounts of coins for hut. I'd like to be able to pull arenas in hut. Inform us on the menu searching for opponents longer than 15 seconds that it searches outside of our region and skill level. Ya nobody knows how to use both sticks together and how the mechanics work in NHL. Brianstormed left the how to video making crew on UA-cam is pretty lacking. Nobody wants to compete with sleeves. His shorts on little tips and key. Glitch goals can be secrets of the pros but basic mechanics we all deserve to know. I didn't know that the right stick did anything is so sad. No wonder ppl get blasted in game and are left to say WTF how do I even do that!!!
Have custom hat trick cellys (option per player like those cellys cards that most just trade in for packs) example wanting to see octopus or rats being thrown in hut vs hats. Or a special type of hat trick celebration.
The abiltiy to select which arena you play in would be a start. why cant you pick any arena. why hasnt there been some more creative arenas added throughout the years. adding the ability to be a bit more creative would go a long way. I think a few years back they had something with the training drills. going thru the different dekes and all that stuff. Be a Pro has been the same since at least NHL 18 or 19. As a mostly offline player, BAP and Franchise are very stale. Be a Pro specifically is full of so many bugs.
There is a Laundry list of things to add to Franchise mode. An Award case or something that shows all the awards your players have won. show the full list of winners instead we get the last 5 years.Make the awards menu more interactive so you can see like how many points the last art ross winner had or something like this. Again there is just so many things they can do

We play games for simulation and realism. These are the reasons I haven't bought the game in 5 years. Copy and pasted game.

Players automatic grow needs to stop, it could be like that you can change the weight +-5kg every end of the season if you want. All the challenges needs to fit your player type and X factors too. You must play better then the guy in upper line, it's stupid that your tough guy goes in the first line even he has -12, 0+3 points and the other players have like +12 and 6+20. Some kind of chemestry would be great. And much more...
Fix chel physics especially sticking to players like Velcro the lacrosse goal, hip check and interceptions buy players and ai needs brains. Maybe be able to choose a ai player type when your down a man in 3’s or 6’s
THEY NEED TO PUT BACK NHL 94 CONTROLS HERES WHY.. 94 was D PAD / analog stick and only face buttons i have friend with cerebral palsy and he can only use one finger for analog stick and one for buttons after we tape down the controller for him to use it and be able to play. so the fact that it was taken this out is a joke i seen many people reached out ea on their msg boards about this and they chose to ignore it is disgusting
Hopefully they add them back As an alternative, hybrid controls use the face buttons to shoot and pass like the 94 controls - but the D-pad won't move the player, just the analog stick It works the same way (for the most part) as 94 controls, has been In the game for over a decade (I used it all the way up to this year 😅)

I could not care less about HUT lol. Franchise mode and Be a Pro are the modes that need to be worked on. HUT is just a money sink.

I want AI generation faces on draft talents in franchise mode. Also being able to go back qnd view qll statistics season for season when the franchise is finished (year by year rosters and highlights from peak moment msybe as a summarized movie also to relive the moments).
I want to see the game have just a smidge of actual hockey smarts. You know, like passing to the obvious player instead of someone behind the play. Or maybe not standing in the shooting lanes. Or maybe even getting out of the way of the teammate carrying the puck. I know, I'm asking for the moon and the stars.

Make fighting more realistic…two guys dancing around while the linesman watch…have the linesman more involved jumping in to break fights up…falling to the ice with players…ref’s in middle while players attempt to throw punches just like real games attics….

I would love for them to make all HUT cards tradable, even if that they get rid of trades in the AH. I want to be able to do a full rebuild whenever I want again, like in the old days.
One major reason the game gets stale is post tots, my team is locked in with an untradeable line up.

I honestly want to see a “create-a-uniform” mode where you can make a custom uniform for any of the 32 NHL teams using logos from their past or present (basically make a new custom alternate or specialty jersey for your favorite team to use in franchise, be a pro, play now, etc).
It would especially go great with a return of the outdoor games as you could make your own WC/SS uniforms for when your team plays outdoors.
I just hope the cover athlete is good and that hut doesn’t require $50 a week or 50 hours a week to have decent players.

I've been "quiet quitting" NHL for some months now. I've spent money on it, but never stopped spending on it this early. I just got so turned off competing against assholes online. I haven't renewed my ps+ subscription either. So, EA has to step up big time for the offline players to convince me to return for NHL25. I'm done playing online, and it feels so good.

I would love a Winter classic mode and in my opinion I believe that a Be a ref mode would be cool something different and also I would like a arena creator thing where people make custom arenas upload it to a vault and you can play in them and be able to choose what rink you want to play in during a game.
Make the rinks more realistic instead of slapping the Redwings logo on ice for example and saying it is Little Caesars arena. All the arenas are the same and I feel like it shouldn't be that way. I like the feeling of playing in my favourite teams actual arena instead of a completely non realistic one. I know it might be hard and some people might not like the idea but I think it would be a good touch.
I also think it would be cool if the home team in offline modes got their real announcers like if the leafs were the home team they would have Craig Simpson and Chris Cuthbert commentating. this also might be too much but I would like to see it happen.

It's great that the EA team made a solid effort at providing objectives that produced decent rewards this year which is all fine. The problem with EA NHL 24 is the game play absolutely sucks and has zero integrity. The game play itself is the worst it's ever been. Every single shift is littered with WTF BS garbage.
In a dream world I wish we could get realistic presentation on par with Madden and 2K
Here's my wishlist as an offline player:
- Be a pro as a real player (EA already has this in FIFA and it was in the older games)
- AHL and CHL added back to be a pro
- Skip cutscene option in be a pro
- All star game in be a pro (They used to have the CHL all star game before NHL 21)
- Leagues outside the NHL in franchise mode
- Add back the retro goalie masks from the old NHL games (These are in the game already, you just can't equip them anymore)
- Better facial customization
- Arena editor (Like in MLB The Show)
I honestly miss seeing the announcers talking before the game and I really enjoyed seeing the stadium before you played your match, it's sad that they took those out, it feels realistic like a real hockey game

I would love to see the ability to give No Trade or Modified No Trade clauses on contracts to sign players. Or signing bonuses. Makes it more realistic and makes Free Agency more exciting because right now, it's just how much a team will throw at players. Plus, it makes it harder to make trades of those same players
This was the first year I waited until the game was free to get it and I'm glad I did. Feels alot like last year with some gameplay tweaks but other then that? 89.99 in Canada for new releases these days so it's hard to justify the purchase for nearly the same game even if you have the 💸.

I want Online Team Play back. I want to be able to play with randoms or create parties to play online and drop into matchmaking while playing with NHL teams. The days of having like 12 people in an Xbox party and creating your own lobby on OTP and playing as actual NHL players similar to World of Chel was peak NHL.
take a look at the presentation trailer of College Football 25, that's not how you present a sports game like in NHL 24, especially the flex moments celebration which looks absolutely arcade, that has to be removed from NHL 25
I would like to see difficulty tiers added to objectives so the skilled players can do the difficult stuff to earn a player quickly and the scrubs can do easier stuff (that will take them longer) to still earn the players that they arguably need on the team more than the guys who are only doing it for fodder.

Would love some upgrades to franchise mode. Rivals, just to give games meaning. Hot streaks, cold streaks. Player individuality, like traits and personality. Like the A.I would start shit with the opposing teams. Not all of them. Helps momentum, player psyche.
My wish list (mainly for PRO & FRANCHISE)::
- custom league & replace teams with your custom teams (PRO)
- be sent down to AHL & ECHL (PRO)
- able to play overseas if your not getting offers in NA (PRO & FRANCHISE)
- introduced new leagues around the world such as; EIHL (UK), AIHL (Australia), NZIHL (New Zealand) and so on.
- new mode…coaching. Work your way up from ECHL (or even overseas) to the NHL. You few the entire game from the bench and can’t control the players (just watching). You have a notepad/clipboard (exactly like the tab you bring down to sim to next shift on PRO) where you can view and change; lines, tactics, strategies, coach challenges, timeout, pull goalies and give commands to captains.
Being able to customize the league structure in be a pro would be nice as well.
Dude I have been saying the same exact thing about player switching. If button icons work for passing… player switching should not be much different. Lots of good stuff in here! Though… I will admit, my hopes are not high!
To add onto the winter classic you could have a event in hut when it comes out where you like play someone in a single game and if you win you get rewards if you lose you’re done

Here is what I think we need. We need practice mode fire around 50 pucks before a game would be awesome! We need a be a ref mode. We also need big scrums.
How about if you score a hat trick for your club, you get to chose a hat that was thrown on the ice that represents your club. Then you can go and wear it in drop ins to represent your club. Also, for Be A Pro why not add mini games to increase attribute instead of training. You could use the All-Star skills competition for said mini games. The better you do the more you progress. Two examples of games that do this are FIFA and MLB the Show.
Customizations would be so nice. It seem is would be easy for them to add also considering it's already a created on other mode.
What I would like to see added is the ability if your playing as the home team be able to choose to go first or second in a shootout during a game or shootout mode it’s always the away team that goes first also winter classic would be nice

They need to add community events. For example everyone’s SB points get added up from old gen and new new and we all have to get x amount of points for let’s say a ultimate choice pack doesn’t matter and there are rewards along the way. Make this a monthly thing and tie it into the events that happen by allowing bouns points for using the current event cards. I also think for a competitive season you could do ps vs Xbox. You’d only match an opposite console and whatever team has more points/wins at the end gets the big reward like 10 but champs collectables or a player and the other team gets a couple packs based on how they did.

A small % of people might care about this, but i really want more depth players. When a bottom 6 guy or 3rd pair D man has a big moment it great game, give em a card. The same names gets 5, 6+ new cards all the time. Give us variety.

Thrash I like your thoughts here (especially on a better practice mode I mean look at FIFA/FC 24) but one thing Ill say is that adding the Winter Classic would probably be a big hassle. They would most likely have to add that stipulation in the contract with whoever owned the stadium but moreover, the contract is only good for one year so you would be spending all these resources to Scan in a new arena that would be good for that one new game and this would have to be repeated each year. I just don't see that being something that we should want them to spend the limited time and resources on for how much use you are going to get out of it.
Full presentation with new win/loss animation sequences , Winter Classic mode, new faceoff system that tosses aggressive players off the dot, actual post-whistle fights even involving the goalies and refs and fans banging on the glass, new fan models, and for the love of God leave PS4 behind EA.

Franchise mode needs some new presentation to it. The ability when you select a 33rd team franchise that you hire coaches before the expansion draft and not just be given random ones you fire in year 2. Bring back raising the championship banner in the home opener. make sure not every defense-men AI created is pinch/shoot or pinch/cycle. Make a special cut scene for the draft lottery. Minor stuff I know but it would do alot for franchise mode. HUT & MUT is honestly one of the most boring modes in both EA Sports games and not worth the money.
I would love to see if EA brought back some old icons from older nhl games. But I think that's not going to happen. 😢

With such a huge voice in the community, i rlly wish you were able to touch on more important details than winter classic and draft champs… this was probably the worst nhl ultimate team gameplay in 3 years. There is so many things to improve on that need to he mentioned.

I would love to see a Be A Pro story line similar to 2k
Ability to hold R2 at matchup screen and quick menu for a Jersey change rather than backing out so many slow menus. Practice mode to shoot at an empty net with targets in the corners 5 hole etc. was in previous nhls. Used to show mph on shots too. Mini modes. I want to drive a Zamboni on a wild racetrack while I'm waiting for a player to sell. I want to pick an enforcer and skate to hit street objects as hard as I can to practice hitting. Fight mode. You just pick a guy and matchup for fights only. Street mode with sticks etc. Casey Jones Ninja turtles. Mascot racing in little buggies. Passing games to pass into crazy targets and objects around the street. All these games would reward small amounts of coins for hut. I'd like to be able to pull arenas in hut. Inform us on the menu searching for opponents longer than 15 seconds that it searches outside of our region and skill level. Ya nobody knows how to use both sticks together and how the mechanics work in NHL. Brianstormed left the how to video making crew on UA-cam is pretty lacking. Nobody wants to compete with sleeves. His shorts on little tips and key. Glitch goals can be secrets of the pros but basic mechanics we all deserve to know. I didn't know that the right stick did anything is so sad. No wonder ppl get blasted in game and are left to say WTF how do I even do that!!!

Have custom hat trick cellys (option per player like those cellys cards that most just trade in for packs) example wanting to see octopus or rats being thrown in hut vs hats. Or a special type of hat trick celebration.
The abiltiy to select which arena you play in would be a start. why cant you pick any arena. why hasnt there been some more creative arenas added throughout the years. adding the ability to be a bit more creative would go a long way.
I think a few years back they had something with the training drills. going thru the different dekes and all that stuff.
Be a Pro has been the same since at least NHL 18 or 19. As a mostly offline player, BAP and Franchise are very stale. Be a Pro specifically is full of so many bugs.
There is a Laundry list of things to add to Franchise mode. An Award case or something that shows all the awards your players have won. show the full list of winners instead we get the last 5 years.Make the awards menu more interactive so you can see like how many points the last art ross winner had or something like this. Again there is just so many things they can do

We play games for simulation and realism. These are the reasons I haven't bought the game in 5 years. Copy and pasted game.

Players automatic grow needs to stop, it could be like that you can change the weight +-5kg every end of the season if you want. All the challenges needs to fit your player type and X factors too. You must play better then the guy in upper line, it's stupid that your tough guy goes in the first line even he has -12, 0+3 points and the other players have like +12 and 6+20. Some kind of chemestry would be great. And much more...
Play better then the other players to go up in lines of course.
And we need the mode back where you can play be a pro type with the real nhl players.

THEY NEED TO PUT BACK NHL 94 CONTROLS HERES WHY.. 94 was D PAD / analog stick and only face buttons i have friend with cerebral palsy and he can only use one finger for analog stick and one for buttons after we tape down the controller for him to use it and be able to play. so the fact that it was taken this out is a joke i seen many people reached out ea on their msg boards about this and they chose to ignore it is disgusting

As an alternative, hybrid controls use the face buttons to shoot and pass like the 94 controls - but the D-pad won't move the player, just the analog stick
It works the same way (for the most part) as 94 controls, has been In the game for over a decade (I used it all the way up to this year 😅)
