This is a very important video. I have quit my stimulant (vyvance) witch was very rough, porn , less video games aswell. What’s interesting is my desire for these things have gone down to almost no desire. But ! Alch during this time is very difficult. I live a very isolated life with a lot of anxiety and worry for my family. I find alch is involuntary to me aswell… tho iv cut back. Is anyone ells struggling with this one ? If so let me know. I know we can beat this. Be well people and let’s try harder to get sober. I remember as a kid being sober felt like the best high in life. Let’s get back to the task at hand :)

O myself have relapsed and though I have a few days of sobriety, I am so unhappy with no direction and I just repeat my mistake to a point where my addiction is worst than ever. I would do drugs but stop but now my addiction has become very clear and a standout in my relationship where before it was not destructive.

Tele-health is nice... but what about all those brothers and sisters on the streets who don't have access to the internet or even have a phone to call anyone on? It's easy to forget that not everyone can get online for help.

If you were to suggest a new strategy to combat the problem of opioid use, what would it be?

That's the million dollar question. I wish I knew because heroin has ruined my life multiple times.

I found this video yesterday,I relapsed on meth 3 days ago😢I was clean for 5 months,my family in the house all got covid sick except me.so the isolation was making everyone bump heads, I come straight from a disfunctional mexican family and not only do they not understand addiction ,they don't understand my anxiety and bi-polar depression and bi-polar disorder either.......a mother screaming scum at my face and my wife calling me a piece of shit even though she's never worked in her life lol this isn't helping me at all, work is slow ,I didnt see this pattern coming.....💔😢 my life really sucks rightnow😭

With methamphetamine addiction the fact that it takes away the frontal lobe use of the brain it makes it really hard for people in addiction to it to process and reach out for help through these changes in life as we know it .. most are on streets and don’t have access to internet
