Sorry if this is off topic but I am having to move my wall mount lower because I placed it too right, and it left an indentation where the main plate and lag bolts pressed against the wall all. Not major but an ugly spot. Would spackling help cover that or would I need to layer a little joint tape around the ring?
depending on the monitor and size it varies. I will post a link to a universal kit for all different types of monitors www.amazon.com/PERLESMITH-Universal-Mounting-Hardware-Washers/dp/B076JBMD1D/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=vesa+mount+screws&qid=1664736984&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIzLjQ1IiwicXNhIjoiMy42MSIsInFzcCI6IjMuNTUifQ%3D%3D&s=electronics&sprefix=vesa+mount+sc%2Celectronics%2C82&sr=1-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzRTk2MTZVSk4yOTk0JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMzQwNDIzM0NVWjdTSVlHUkMxSyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjIwOTk3VzVIVDk4NEgyS01OJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
I have a dell monitor and got a vesa 100mm x 100mm universal bracket and have had nothing but hassle trying to get it on my monitor.. when the bracket sits in place on monitor there is 20mm gap from the bracket to screw hole. So need 30mm m4 screw, but supposed to use 10mm. How on earth is something so simple so damn confusing and complicated. Thought only needed a vesa 100mm x 100mm bracket but obviously way more complicated than that. Pleae3 help as no idea what to do next. As if use 30mm, the screws may snap and all other brackets show similar issues. But sure others will have no hassle
Have you bought any GPUs on aliexpress? i found an xfx r9 380 4gb card for 132. you'd say its worth, taking in the fact that its impossible to find a reasonable priced gpu?
I have never bought from aliexpress and the only reason why is the shipping time. Need parts sooner, but I have heard that they are fair and sell decent products. My only concern with them is the return if defective. I have heard some horrors' stories.
@@travypatty3500 man finding cards is horrible, its a gamble and hit or miss with prices. every now and then get luck on ebay. i like them due to buyer protection and occasionally i find something on the social media market places.

does the monitor arm tilt? and how many degrees does it tilt
What is the distance between the wall and the screen
i believe it was like 4 inches.
@@DLMtechgarage thanks bro ❤️
Is a mount with a longer arm not better? So u can move it up and down?
just depends on what you need it for.
I'm about a year late, but that dell monitor has Vesa mounting holes underneath the stand
The stand clips off to reveal the holes
yea I realized it after the fact, but appreciate the comment.
@DLM tech garage makes sense, great video 👍🏾
