Stevie was a great character while alive, and is a great character while dead. He was a loose-lipped dumbass, but he was a top earner actually dedicated to pushing, and he didn't ask for much nor overstep boundaries (like Ilya has done with Luciano, even though Ilya has been right a lot of times in his questioning of decisions). I know Stevie chose perma, but I hope the streamer decides to come back later with Stevie as a season finale type surprise resurrected villain to the crew, or as a brand new character. Stevie as a character-- with the way he went berserk out of paranoid fear and bitterness--was a top tier crime sidestory that illustrates how bad the dons are (aside from Speedy) with how they manage the lower ranked members, which is shitty in various minor ways, but those ways add up and can snowball into how Stevie ended up.
