The great Glenda Jackson! Few of this caliber past or present
She ended her career in her 80s with Albee's Three Sisters and Shakespeare's King Lear. That should tell us about all we need to know
Love the clips of the nominees, keep them coming
RIP Glenda Jackson 1936-2023😔🙏💔🌹⭐
Juliet Mills, always so pretty
Great job. Think you can do Jessica Lange’s ‘82 win next?
That definitely would have been Carrie Snodgress' Oscar clip had they shown them then!
When was the first time they showed clips?
I just checked. It looks like they started doing it at the Oscars in 1985 (presented in 1986).
I remember I once saw a video where they showed short clips for the leading nominees 1979 (Sally Field winning for Norma Rae)
What a MISTAKE!!! Sarah Miles should have won, she gave an honest and riveting performance and was believable.
