Hi could you please answer a question for me. What's the length of the stapler on the top. I want to staple carpet under my stair tread and worried it won't fit for a flush line. My aim is to carpet my stair tread only and not the riser. Appreciate it if you could advise for me before I drop a few hundred quid on it.
The length along the top is 192mm but the handle curves up another 10mm 100mm back from the top. If your tread overhang is less than 40mm then your good at 192mm. Hope this makes sense Or otherwise I can do a video for you

Hello mate, doe this thing need the makita branded staples or will it run any old 10mm/t50 staples? Can't find any additional info anywhere.
