Can you run just the back 60% without the bottom? Like literally just the back wall?

Technically, yes, but the bottom of the panels would be unsecured since those panels are secured to the bottom plates.

$1900 for the full set (with the coating) is wild. $1250 for just the floor portion. I guess my question is why should I choose this over the goose gear delete when the goose gear is $1170 for both (current price I found online), has side panels so stuff doesn’t fall out and has larger, lockable doors? I like the fit and finish of this but the price just feels like a hard pill to swallow imo.

Goose makes a great product and you will never hear us speak negatively of them, but the materials we use in our products are unparalleled in terms of light weight, durability, strength, water resistance, and longevity. Unfortunately our materials are more expensive and the machines to produce them are exponentially more expensive than CNC wood routers. If you want a light weight, extremely durable system that will outlive the life of your vehicle, we can do that for you.
All of our RSD kits come with easy remove side panels. However, I think most people will choose not to use them. The easy access to gear below the platforms, without unloading everything off of the top is great. Due to our materials and design, we don't need those vertical panels for support, so we can make the panels easily removable (thumb screws).
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Glad to help.

Goose gear is a lot more than $1170 for the back wall. The full seat delete you’re over two grand. I don’t know where you’re getting your numbers.
