Yeah, it was super frustrating, but when I did my second campaign run through, I didn’t fight him until I fully upgraded my grapple, and that seemed to even the playing field ALOT more

Something that would add even more depth than there already is would be adding unique lines for fighting everything. For example, Escharum fighting Jega and Chak 'Lok fighting Bassus.

A minor complain is that this map terrain is pretty stacked against Bassus. All the hills and elevations keep causing his A.I. to derp out and let Tovarus get in free shots. And on that subject, being a ranged unit Tovarus already had an advantage against the hammer monke, but again said rocky terrain work especially well for the literal jetpack monke. If we ever had a rematch, I would like to see it on a flat map terrain, that would give us a better indication of their W/L ratios.
I love how the higher rank the brute is, the more educated they are. Their intelligence and vocabulary instantly switch from baboon to her majesty's tongue.

@@somehaloguy9372 Yea I believe all the Silver Chieftains have the same health as Bassus, Ik' Novus, and En' Geddon. 2 Sniper shots to take out shields, then 4 sniper headshots to kill through the armor. That's how much it took to kill Bassus for me, and the Silver Chieftains with the hammers were the same. Same thing with En' Geddon.

These videos are so damn cool. I just wish we had this kind of control over the Xbox Series X version of the game. I mean, it honestly doesn't make sense that we can't as it utilizes full mouse and keyboard support. It's not like the Series X is lacking the power to push ridiculously sized battles, it's essentially the same damn program as the PC port, and it would take very little effort to open this up for us as well. I would pay extra for the ability to do this alone. I can think of so many battles I would love to setup...like putting all the boses on one map, wraiths, scorpions, ghosts, wasps, marines, ODST's, Master Chief (player controlled), ect...in an everyone on everyone battle royal on Legendary! Like come on man.

I feel the same way about Doom as well. There is no game on this Earth that has the ability to pull me away from the Halo/Doom universes. If push came to shove I would choose Halo over Doom and I have before in the past. What I'm getting at is...if 343 were to give us the ability to make our own battles through Forge like this, Halo Infinite may just be my real home for a very long time to come. I have never just stayed with one game like so many others but it just may happen. I used to make Doom Wads as a kid so spending countless hours creating Halo content sounds like pure heaven too me. I truly wish for this more than any game in the world right now. I would take this over Stalker 2, Dying Light 2, any game slated for this year, Half Life 3, System Shock 2 remake, Gears of War, God of War, Uncharted game, I mean anything. I really hope this comes to fruition. Thank you very much for keeping me informed man. May the cup of your favorite beverage be flowing for eternity. ;)
It's pretty cool you got the bosses to spawn in none designated areas, the modding community is moving lightyears ahead of 343, they'll develop whole new gamemodes before 343 makes anything good.

To be honest, fighting Tovarus is worse. Tovarus has more health and spams you with explosive bullets from a distance.

The battle area is well designed to kite him though. The window between the control room and the storage area was an easy exploit against him.
If you stand on the frame of the doorway you come in, he can't attack you at all. One of the many legendary exploits

It looks like the projectiles move slower the closer Tovarus is to Bassus. Maybe a balance thing for players taking him on up close.
