I haven't had the honor of seeing them live, as they have never come to my city. But I am "Daydreaming" of when this COVID-19 crap is gone it will be a major priority.
I saw Band-Maid live five years ago. They were playing in a ballroom in a convention center at a con in what I believe was their first ever performance in the U.S. While the ladies were great the room and where they were was not made to be able to handle their kind of sound. Despite that I walked away in awe because despite the set up muddling their sound you could tell their musicianship was simply off the charts. I had never heard of them before and simply wandered in out of boredom while I was at the con. The next day after the concert I bought their CD "New Beginnings" that they just released and immediately got them to autograph it while they were still at the convention. I've been a fan ever since.
"Hottest Japanese girl rock band. Change my mind" Keep watching and you'll take 'Japanese' out of that statement. Some would even go as far as taking 'girl' out too, especially if you are talking contemporary bands. I've seen them twice. Once in London, once in New York (although I would add that I arranged a holiday over there - I didn't go just for the show)
super high energy at their shows.. the new stuff off Conqueror seems like it'll slow things down a bit, which might be better suited to a 2hr+ show at larger venues. last years US setlist was almost nonstop bangers(not complaining). even with the language barrier, it's still awesome how they're able to relate and banter with the crowd
MISA MISA MISA! saw them twice in LA, the first night I was GA back of crowd on Mincho's side having a beer with a couple of You-Tube reactors thinking this can't be topped. Second night I was Meet and Greet VIP got to stand second row from MISA about 6 feet and well ............. I still haven't recovered
I was at the Echoplex on September 30th. This is far and away my favorite hard rock band. Sacramento loves Band-Maid! Sakuramento wa Bando Meido ga daisuki!
Hellow Sir! My today's suggestion is a Big Fat Heavy instrumental song called 'I Love Life', by French Canadian artists named So-Fi. No need lyrics on this one; the images speak for themselves...

What band in their right mind would want follow this band on stage? I was so close to seeing them live at Inkcarceration, but the beer bug hit .
Hope you're staying safe.

God that's good!
Ingredients: ample portions of Motörhead and ABBA. Mix well, bake in a Japanese oven and marvel at the results.
