I remember Steve from primary school in Towyn, North Wales from the age of four! He was a kind, sensitive kid and I became very friendly with him until he left for South Wales with his mum a few years later. I love this track and wish him all the best with his future career.
I think people including 'Steve' should forget about the incredible history he and others contributed to the '80's' and celebrate that this is a great standalone piece of work... hats off
Shameless grooves. I have just heard this on Soundtracker whilst doing a painting of a princess cat waterfall and I had to funk around the kitchen. What a song. Cover is great of Strange breaking out of a mask which he did do in real life. So glamorous darling!
Hey Steve Strage, Continue doing what you are best at.. Singing & enternatining people, Love the way you are still rocking even after all these year's Great Music.. You guy's sound even better than you did in the 80's 2 thumbs up !!
wow ! ... I am french and was born in 1977, heard "fade to grey" in my childish years as the New Wave crossed the channel and was an instant fan ! It took me 20 years to put the names of Steve Strange and Rusty Egan on it (god pardon me !). This sound is so good in 2013 ! ... Welcome back, Mr Strange !
With all due respect, u gotta recognize that Steve Strange has the balls to revive Visage and give us New Wave lovers a new and fresh dose of brilliant modern 80s tunes to fancy our ears and hearts ! Yes someone on here posted that the song sounds dated but maybe that was the sound they were going for, modern electronic music is great but the vintage sound is what makes this song unique IMO !
Still can't believe the great man is no longer with us, this is a fantastic piece of work, as was the entire Hearts and Knives album. If only they got the credit they deserved for it. We miss you Steve 💔
Steve, you were knocked down but got up on 9. Then you came back strong as ever making two brilliant pop albums in a row before ascending to higher planes. Massive respect and lots of peace and love to you.
This is fantastic! Could easily be from their 80's catalogue but somehow sounds so current! Robin Simons guitar playing is brilliant! This deserves to do really well, and I can't wait to see them live! Hopefully it will attract a whole new army of fans who missed out on Visage the first time around
listened to the snippets of tracks pure 80's not a bad single to start rest of album not bad either have to go and see them at Hoxton club not bad for a tenner and remember the good old days.
I bought the album back in June last year, LOVE it ! Shameless Fashion is fantastic and retro-fabulous ! NEVER ENOUGH blew me away as the opening song, it's brilliant !
Listening to this tune one might feel like its 1983 again! Thanks for bringing back that classic Visage sound fae the blitz kids era! Hope you guys planning to invade ze Germany, you sure got my money.
Exactly - I was also wondering how they'd manage without key Ultravox staff but the sound is really confident and completely preserves their identity. After all that poop that was slung at 80s sounds by the likes of Oasis; 'Shameless Fashion' seems hugely appropriate amidst a fresh wave of synthpop!
Too sad : No more signed CDs of "Hearts and Knives" now available in you shop... as I have no vinyl player (no enough room for the moment in my tiny apartment). Any chance to get one day a few more signed CDs, Steve ? It would be so much more valuable to me with your lettering on it ! I can do without the other extras and have a regular album, but your autograph is hardly missing !
Fair play to Steve, its got an 80`s vibe, but its going to isn't it!, sounds good to me, and I will buy the album. Compared to what`s out there now its ahead of its time, most of the top 50 download tracks are "samples" from the 80`s / 90`s anyway.... all I get now is ooh Dad listen to this new song..., 90% of the time its a rip off of an 80`s/ 90`s track... I have heard it all before......at least this is "new".....
i agree. I love it when bands come back and retain their signature sound. Ultravox put out a new album last year. and i think they still sound great. Unfortunately i can't say the same for the danse society. reuniting with a new singer doesn't always work.
Ele morreu, mais a música não. Melhor que dávid Bowie e The cure , o precussot da música eletrônica dos anos i80.nao fez tanto sucesso, mais no mundo aguadou com fade tô Grey. 100 cover no mundo. Ver visage discogs 2016 remix. Morreu em 2015.

Absolutely Brilliant!!! Just like the old times but brand new!
Great track. It´s a hit. The original Visage atmosphere of sound.
it sounds perfect for me, the Visage I grew up with. Love that they have the same sound

yay... can't believe I am still around to love this, 30 years later! :)
Steve lives in the same town as me so I often see him walking around. Definitely going to tell him his new album is excellent next time I see him.
I hope you managed to do it when he was still around

Great comeback! Wonderful song!
Unlike so many 80's "has beens" re-emerging of late, this is a very welcome return IMO.
its really good.
This is grow grow growing on me . Well done all involved x
This is fantastic! Could easily be from their 80's catalogue but somehow sounds so current! Robin Simons guitar playing is brilliant! This deserves to do really well, and I can't wait to see them live! Hopefully it will attract a whole new army of fans who missed out on Visage the first time around

I bought the album back in June last year, LOVE it ! Shameless Fashion is fantastic and retro-fabulous ! NEVER ENOUGH blew me away as the opening song, it's brilliant !

Glad to see one of my old fav's back. Cant wait for the CD to be released next month.!!Great job Steve :)
great to hear Nigel Summers recording again - he plays that main hook like a demon!
There are many 80s revival new bands and it's very good for the scene but no one can beat these originals!
Nice guitar riff
Listening to this tune one might feel like its 1983 again! Thanks for bringing back that classic Visage sound fae the blitz kids era! Hope you guys planning to invade ze Germany, you sure got my money.

I'm looking forward to seeing a video for this.
My love you! Sorry. congrulations!!
Cant wait for this album!
Gute Ohren !! You say it !!
Reminds me of their best 80s stuff!
LOVE IT
This is so much better than most music today, I love that it's all analogue, and no soft synths. But isn't the Yamaha DX-7 digital?
Exactly - I was also wondering how they'd manage without key Ultravox staff but the sound is really confident and completely preserves their identity. After all that poop that was slung at 80s sounds by the likes of Oasis; 'Shameless Fashion' seems hugely appropriate amidst a fresh wave of synthpop!
heh, there's actually a Steve Strange in Belfast who is a booking agent.
Never thought I'd see Steve bring out new music - and it's a great album, should have been released after The Anvil all those years ago haha
Fantastic, I always hoped the video for this song!
You hoped the video for this song would what?
It is the most powerful song on the album.
Yes but what do you hope for the video?
bang on mate, full agreement
i was listen to this album last night, i thought it must have been on of there mid/late 80s records.. lol i was surprised it's fairly recent.
modern classic.
einfach mal nur ein Meisterwerk!!! Dagegen ist die neue Scheibe von Depeche Mode nur langweilig.
at last!
BTW I saw Steve perform to backing tracks at Carpet Burn at The Eagle a couple of years ago - CAR CRASH : O
Fuck, I love this!
How can this have ever been overlooked!
Shameful...
sound made by Legends
