I hate how popular shein has become. Its everywhere! I love a good deal, but i still prioritize quality over price, even at the thrift store.

When you said your outfit was easy to take off and try on clothes I thought you meant you were wearing a tank under it lol I feel like an oversized t shirt is the worst thing to try on clothes over. I never go thrifting without wearing a tank top underneath my clothes.
I really thought just the t-shirt would be perfect to put tops on under it...I was very very mistaken and the outfit was definitely not functional at all 😩

I seriously want the peter pan collar peplum top! Literally three things on my thrift wishlist including the black and white stripes. I absolutely love the limit setting! That’s such a great idea- I find I over buy at the thrift store because it’s usually inexpensive, I love the items, and know they may not be there next trip- But I don’t necessarily need all that I am buying. Great Tip! 😊
Yess I went Thrifting yesterday (in L.A.) and there are still sweaters out! Totally not normal lol but it is still so chilly for LA
It shouldn't make sense, but I find that thrifting is a really good low-cost activity just because it's not buying things that's the most exciting. It's the potential for discovery. You can kill hours looking around a big thrift store and find only one item, or even nothing you truly want, but it doesn't feel like a waste because you spent the time treasure hunting. A very journey-not-the-destination kind of thing.
Of course, it is pretty great if you can also find the exact kind of thing you wanted for a bargain.
This makes perfect sense. You nailed it with this comment. It's a journey, it's a way to relax my mind, and it's even a way to get some exercise in (I spend hours walking around the store).

Thrift tip!!! I just find an available mirror and try the clothes on over my clothes. I wear zipper boots, leggings and a tight T-shirt. If it fits tight, I know there will be a little bit more room without the extra clothes. Good luck next ❤😊

Shopping for belts at the thrift is such an adventure. You always have one you're looking for and you always find one you DON'T NEED. But belts are such a fantastic accessory it's so hard to say no to them!

I know you're a fellow sweaty gal (lol) and I just wanted to say that since I made the switch to all natural material clothing, my hyperhidrosis is literally cured. Polyester is a devil fabric I swear and it's the reason our landfills and oceans are so overfilled because it takes centuries to biodegrade!

When I go I wear black bike shorts or leggings and black tank top. Pretty much anything I’d buy will fit over those

(I mean no shade to resellers ofc, it's just that some items can end up costing so much for the condition they're in, esp vintage peeling shoes, that at the same price I could buy a solid gold piece of jewelry and it'd be a way better investment than a peeling shoe lol)

I don’t know. It depends on your small town. I moved from London to Cornwall in the UK, and cities here have expensive, curated vintage stores that only hold smaller sizes. My local charity shop now is amazing! 😻
