I know everyone's talking about the 1080p shit, but on NoPixel, the UI elements wouldn't scale properly to 1440p. And 4K would probably be pretty demanding even for an RTX 4090 because NoPixel, on top of FiveM, on top of GTA 5 is pretty unoptimized. But for everything else, he should just have a 4K monitor to play other games on.
Summit is on 1440p, so that is not correct :)
@ThePooP what I meant was since X doesn't have a 1440p monitor, the image would be squished down to 1080p and the UI would be tiny if not completely fucked. Also, summit's FPS in RP is all over the place in 1440p, probably not very good for frametimes.

I didn't say it couldn't handle it, I said FiveM with shaders would be more demanding because FiveM with all the server mods will always be lower FPS than regular GTA 5.

I really don't like how people hate 1080P monitors, I have already seen difference between 1080P and 4K on same size panel and yes the difference is there but that's also personal preference and it's better to just play on native resolution and not tinker on 4K monitor to lower the resolution if something doesn't work as good as it should, also on 1080P you can have more Hz like 480Hz, and I personally prefer smooth gameplay over graphics so 1080P is still very good resolution and it will probably be like that for few more years
yeah, especially since he streams, anything above 1080p is gonna cause interpolation problems, and for what, half the chat is probably watching in 480p

It blows my mind that I can run ultra high on games coming out today on my laptop but if I even dare click the FIVEM shortcut, it will stop running all together. My laptop just gives up, I can run battlefield 2042 ultra high with a steady 65-70 fps, constant explosions, fires, just the whole nine yards and this laptop won’t flinch but let me try to join a server on fivem, Im getting Max 5 fps.

@@ToxFnn it’s an Msi laptop gstealth series I’m pretty sure, I’m not by it to look at the exact model but it was a pretty penny when I bought it new and the price of it has naturally went up since last year, it was around 2500 for me and it has risen to 3-4k depending on the sites you look at.

That's probably because your monitor is not set to 3k resolution in control panel, but instead it's set to 1080p. You would need exceptionally strong glasses if you don't notice the difference
