@@meataletoo2780 that definitely doesn't make anything better. Comparing yourself with an actually hardworking idol who went through a LOT to be there where she is rn is just bad especially when you just don't even have the role in the group where you could compare yourself to someone like Hwasa.
Olivia Hye trained for 1 day and we don't complain, we don't say she's an offense towards the idols like G-Dragon who trained for 11 years before debuting, and why we don't complain ? Because she's a K-Pop idol and she's under a Korean label, but when it's KAACHI who trained for 3 months we complain, that's totally incomprehensible 🤨🤨🤨🤨.
@@yohann_kpopfan_fr But that under the Korean training system. If you training you debut should be better. Kaachi debut could of been ALOT better. I blame the company. No matter how many days you train one, two ect people should debut you when you're ready and if they feel like they should because of your talent. This company should of known better. Tech ALL of the girls Korean or aleast the basics. Train in the Korean system or aleast train how trainees in Korea train because how they train vs the Korean training system is very different. I do believe in them in them though.
This is my opinion: Non Asians who are fluent in korean, respects the culture and knows it, got through the trainee years and are talented should get an chance to debut, but kaachi can’t even be serious I refuse to believe this isn’t an social experiment to trigger kpop stans this can’t be real no
I also believe this has to be an experiment. Like a cringy comedic group. Think "flight of concords" but not funny. I honestly think it's a troll group and that it'll eventually be announced as that. Even if they arent, I would personally go along with that story if I were them
The person who wrote all the stuff in the beginning...Lemme clear it up: 1. They're not under oli's company 2. Their fandom name is not koochie 3. Their lightstick is not what they said 4. True 5. 50% true 6. No they don't 7. Idk about this 8. Yes they're not kpop. 1 member is korean. Other 3 are not. The last 2 are true.. Kaachi are talented and good dancers too.. their songs are alright. The thing is, they can simply just call THEMSELVES a pop group like Little mix and it's gonna be ok. They don't know korean nor do they live in korea nor did they ever train there. So they should train and debut under an actual k-pop company.. They're highly cringy and put up a stereotypical image of kpop idols.. They do alottt of cringy aegyo and make fun of idols' English skills... Plus they're next to koreaboos. They don't speak proper korean but throw in words like "Omo", "ottoke" etc. Which isn't ok. Coz that's not how a kpop idol acts.. They're alright.. but a bit cringy. Get rid of the cringy part, and you'll end up with a brand new pop girl group which are good. 👍

When they can't even speak a one-sentence straight Korean, it reminds me how much time and effort Seventeen Jun and The8, and Vernon put just to learn the language. "Girls, it takes time."
I’m sorry but he’s so right, everyone has his opinion, but I actually agree that they are sometimes cringe, I love that kpop is international, but if you want to dance and sing, why don’t you want to be an English idol or an idol from your country? Idk
@@moremoremanga Those idols are doing that in KOREA, living there and learned the language and culture. PLUS they've been training their asses off like any other actual kpop idols. *Kaachi in my opinion:* - They don't have a good vowel. - They don't have a good dance training. - They don't speak Korean. - They don't have a good attitude when they dance. As a korean, it gets confusing to see people forming “kpop” groups when the main language in their productions aren’t korean. The race of the person doesn’t necessarily matter since thousands of artists from all over Asia as a whole including Thailand, China, Japan, etc. are accepted as trainees under big corporations or have become idols. But the fact that this is Korean pop, I personally think that the first and foremost condition in order to be a representative of kpop as an idol is to know the language, and if possible, mannerisms and culture. Right now, setting aside the lack of professionalism in KAACHI’s productions and songs, in my eyes they’re just a pop/UKpop group. I’m all for kpop growing in various countries and sparking dreams in people of all races to be a kpop idol but I feel like theres a sort of “fetishization/over-idolism(? Is that the term?)” to what kpop is. Im actually interested to hear what others have to say about this
Honestly, I don’t think the nationality is that much of an issue now. Everyone loves Lisa from Blackpink even though she’s from Thailand. The issue is the lack of talent and quality lol; when they claim be a kpop group, they have to be of a comparable standard to other kpop groups. I’m personally not a fan of the overly restrictive ways that some management companies control their trainees, Kaachi doesn’t have to be subject to the same kind of restrictions but they still have to achieve a similar level of preparedness before debut (language proficiency, singing skills, dance). Instead, they say to DKDKTV that singing is STILL something they have to work on... people are right in saying that they are merely kpop fans than idol material 😂 (although this doesn’t justify spreading misinformation and threats against them)
@@nl9444 you really think it's not the nationality, then why was Lana hated on SO MUCH. No girl, ultimately it's because they aren't asian that people are so pressed.
I think like you said, it's the company's fault. They could've taken their time but after watching ploopy's video, it seems that the debut was rushed. I don't think these girls deserve the hate for just that because if the company didn't teach them Korean properly then they can't do anything.
Tanya Verma I definitely agree with you that some people would take offence at the fact that ¾ of Kaachi are not Korean, although I think a bigger factor was the overall lack of preparedness to even debut. I’m not super familiar with Lana but from what I heard there are still a lot of people who respect her for putting in the effort to speak Korean and train there. That is also what Lisa did training in Korea for years. I can only speak from my pov; I’m asian, not Korean, and to me I cool with kpop idols being of other ethnicities. But I would expect a group that labels themselves as kpop to at least have basic korean language proficiency, and have more korean words in their songs (not just a few lines and otherwise mostly English). Of course, this is the company’s responsibility and nothing justifies death threats against them
“language, and if possible, mannerisms and culture” yes i agree, the language should be more important than the mannerisms and culture, because it being “kpop” it should include the language as a priority right?
Look, im pretty sure the girl he said “se can’t speak korean or english, why is she here?” As an spanish, i can recognize that hideous pronunciation and trust me, im embarrassed as well. If they wanted and spanish person who could at least talk proper english they’ve could have choose me...
To all the people out there who are still mad because of this girls. -like in the video said, all rumours were fake -they are taking vocal lessons -Korean lessons -they've been improving their dance -their fandom name is Uni-K -Plus Johnny the one that remake the song Your turn literally became friends with them (I don't think it's a remake but more of a fix? Like he add more background vocals etc.) They've improve a lot! And I'm proud of them! They're getting more training!

Sorry about the rant I don’t mean to hate the girls I was just...it just frustrated me you know?
So tired of people wearing other people’s culture as a costume, am not Asian am African and I can relate to seeing people mimicking the culture, dressing, messing up the language, like an not opposed to learning about a new culture, I welcome that, am opposed to copying someone’s else’s culture because it’s a trend and using it for personal gain.
ExtraSwirl you clearly do not understand what cultural appropriation means, I don’t have the energy or time to break that down to you. It’s more than just clothes, bye.
I understand cause I'm African too. People just think that wearing an African print outfit is fine but some people find it offensive and its uncomfortable to see people using my culture as a trend. the fact is that cultural appropriation has been around for a while now so nobody over the age of 15 should not know what it is so that excuse can no longer be used anymore.
@summer okoh... I'm black... I'm not starting a fight, but examples like these really make people disregard cultural appropriation nowadays... what they are wearing are just sparkly outfits. almost every birthday girl wore an outfit like that to the club already. if they wore a traditional hanbok and stuff like that, then you could call it cultural appropriation. and wearing korean fashion brands also isn't cultural appropriation. wearing box braids and such is cultural appropriation, yes, because it was apart of our history. koreans never sparkly clothes back then. and the casual fits they wear looks like normal clothes white and black people wear...🤷♀️ i think the reason you feel weird because they tried their hardest to act all cutesy and stuff like that, and the edits also look like that from ITZY - Icy and TXT - Crown. and we're also not used to seeing people of different race singing such songs unless it's a cover or something... and how they call themselves a kpop group after only a couple months of training. it can be offensive to the kpop idols and trainees who are busting their asses of but they weren't cultural appropriating anyone. ...Good day✌
Jay Dee yes I agree with you, that’s why I previously mentioned it wasn’t about the clothes, I was speaking generally about cultural appropriation not specifically about this girls, they are culturally appropriating of course by mimicking certain behaviors that are unique to Asians and specifically Koreans because they want to become famous, you can enjoy kpop music, sing kpop songs without appropriating the culture. I won’t say I listen to a lot of kpop but I do enjoy the vast diversity of culture that Asians have and I have seen Asian foreigners come to my country and share the same enthusiasm, they join in dances and wear African prints but not in a way that is offensive at least to me, they don’t try to pass as Africans, they respect the culture and the people and just have fun, and you will still see the ones that really do be doing the most trying to act “Black” especially white foreigners, there is a lot of cultural appropriation between all races and we need to uproot that behavior to fully accept each other.
im going through a deep dive on kpop and especially non korean kpop groups and this perspective was such a good addition to my research. also boy get yourself some self esteem look at all these likes, you're talented and very funny you definitely have a career in front of you
I feel like he deserves to be scouted as trainee more than them 😂 HE'S TALENTED HE'S GOOD LOOKING HE HAS THE IDOL MENTALITY etc. 😂 I'll fill up your audition form myself if you don't try it out 😌😂
Things kaachi needs to fix: • There lack of Korean • The bad dancing while singing • The debut time • Trying to sound Korean • not extending the practice • Singing • dancing • try to at least not be so nervous in interviews • and the “It’s kaachi” thing NEEDS TO GO
Idk why but the "it's Kaachi" thing reminded me of a cringey way of them attempting replicate the iconic "it's Britney B****" phrase popularized by Britney Spears lmao.
Same like blackpink in your area. I see no problem about it. But i hate when that girl says "im like the hwasa of mamamoo" bitch even i have the most talent among my friends but i never compared myself to my fave.
It's like a group of girls who are playing make believe. Like okay, they don't deserve all the hate but it's not like they weren't going to get it. Like mimicking the culture. The fact that they thought that it was good just ticks me off. Idols have trained for sooo long, like Chan from Stray Kids, they've worked their asses off to be able to get into a group. Like you're a trainee yourself, there's harsh standards. The fact they thought they were as good is like a slap in the face to those idols who have worked hard to earn their spot. Not only that, they aren't even based in Korea and I'm pretty sure I can make the same music in the background with my house walls. No offence to them. It's just cheap. They aren't in sync and it isn't right. Their vocals aren't strong at all, their rapping isn't done that well. It's all Childs play, so yeah all of them are older than me but you can't compare them to actual idols. And Jesus, the girl called Ruth? Gave her self a Korean name and try's so hard to fit in the Korean stereotypes, it's not right. Plus they've only just started their 'career' and already involved in scandals. Like the Lazy Jenny thing, I get it that it was the guy behind the camera but that fact the actual company didn't crop it out is even worse. Like you're gambling with one of the biggest idol groups ever. Smh. Some people back them up saying Lisa isn't korean and neither Shuhua, but they are Asian and they at least know Korean and they can Dance well. ITS LISA FOR GODS. Plus, many non-Korean Kpop artist are treated a lot harsher than Korean music artist. I think they should at least fluently learn Korean. Don't think koreaboo will ever leave them. They're Kpop fans and that's alll it looks Like. There's nothing professional about it. And the Hwasa thing. Hwasa is queen, can't say anymore about that. Not comparable. The fact they're under Oli London also is a joke. Anyways Oli eh oh.
another example is, Somi who is half Canadian with her mom being the Korean (correct me if I'm wrong)and she can speak Hangeul fluently. ^_^ This is not a hate comment
The difference between KAACHI and SB19 (The said phillipines group) is that they don’t claim themselves as K-pop. SB19 claim themselves as P-Pop, unlike KAACHI who call themselves as K-pop.
What I don't understand is why did they call it "kpop" when obviously "k" means *Korean* .... They should had called it "ukpop" it makes more sense... Don't u guys think?
Yes I agree. If a foreigner is going to be in the kpop industry, they should at least speak fluent Korean so that they can sing/rap in Korean more easily
*Little updates on them* : • They improved, check out their recent releases (from Photo Magic to Get Up) • They've been to Korea to a K-Pop festival, New Beginnings with K-Pop Superfest, aired on SBS • Some Koreans are ok with them • The girls actually define themselves as a group mixing their cultures as they're all from different places/nationalities : Chunseo is Filipino and Spanish, Nicole is Spanish and Venezuelan, Coco is Korean • Dani left the group on July 23 after a disagreement with the agency about her contract, now she has her own UA-cam channel named itsamedani And also for the info, the girls' company is FrontRow Records, Oli said in a tweet that they're not signed with "them" and vice-versa.

"A lot of people dislike me." I've never related to anything more than this quote.
This video was the first video I watched from you :D

So tired of people wearing other people’s culture as a costume, am not Asian am African and I can relate to seeing people mimicking the culture, dressing, messing up the language, like an not opposed to learning about a new culture, I welcome that, am opposed to copying someone’s else’s culture because it’s a trend and using it for personal gain.
ExtraSwirl you clearly do not understand what cultural appropriation means, I don’t have the energy or time to break that down to you. It’s more than just clothes, bye.
I understand cause I'm African too. People just think that wearing an African print outfit is fine but some people find it offensive and its uncomfortable to see people using my culture as a trend. the fact is that cultural appropriation has been around for a while now so nobody over the age of 15 should not know what it is so that excuse can no longer be used anymore.
summer okoh right and I hate when people try to belly dance when it's arab culture
@summer okoh... I'm black... I'm not starting a fight, but examples like these really make people disregard cultural appropriation nowadays... what they are wearing are just sparkly outfits. almost every birthday girl wore an outfit like that to the club already. if they wore a traditional hanbok and stuff like that, then you could call it cultural appropriation. and wearing korean fashion brands also isn't cultural appropriation.
wearing box braids and such is cultural appropriation, yes, because it was apart of our history. koreans never sparkly clothes back then.
and the casual fits they wear looks like normal clothes white and black people wear...🤷♀️
i think the reason you feel weird because they tried their hardest to act all cutesy and stuff like that, and the edits also look like that from ITZY - Icy and TXT - Crown. and we're also not used to seeing people of different race singing such songs unless it's a cover or something... and how they call themselves a kpop group after only a couple months of training. it can be offensive to the kpop idols and trainees who are busting their asses of but they weren't cultural appropriating anyone.
...Good day✌
Jay Dee yes I agree with you, that’s why I previously mentioned it wasn’t about the clothes, I was speaking generally about cultural appropriation not specifically about this girls, they are culturally appropriating of course by mimicking certain behaviors that are unique to Asians and specifically Koreans because they want to become famous, you can enjoy kpop music, sing kpop songs without appropriating the culture.
Honestly the only tolerable one is Nicole.
She looked embarrassed to speak Korean. She probably only did it because she was told to.
True...and...she has a nice voice and good stage presence
i personally think nicole and dani, to me, are the only people’s who’s vibes aren’t off
Lol Chunseo is actually Spanish, it is pretty obvious by her accent in English.
Well...actually...she is also half filipino...uhmmm maybe....Just claim her...we filipinos don't even know her...lmao
@@chongyunwithdiarrhea3880 i think that nobody really wants to claim her/them-
also Nicole but I really don't understand, I'm Spanish and here since you're in school they teach you how to speak cambrige so....
@@danielamiguelez9447 Nicole is Venezuelan but her accent is not bad

I feel like he deserves to be scouted as trainee more than them 😂
HE'S TALENTED
HE'S GOOD LOOKING
HE HAS THE IDOL MENTALITY
etc. 😂
I'll fill up your audition form myself if you don't try it out 😌😂
He is a trainee according to the title
And he's Asian. XD
The whole point of K-Pop is that it's Korean, sure there are foreigners, but in the end it's STILL KOREAN.
n also southeast asain
Things kaachi needs to fix:
• There lack of Korean
• The bad dancing while singing
• The debut time
• Trying to sound Korean
• not extending the practice
• Singing
• dancing
• try to at least not be so nervous in interviews
• and the “It’s kaachi” thing NEEDS TO GO
Idk why but the "it's Kaachi" thing reminded me of a cringey way of them attempting replicate the iconic "it's Britney B****" phrase popularized by Britney Spears lmao.
Finally criticism that aren't calling Kaachi clowns or accusing Kaachi for rumors
Same like blackpink in your area. I see no problem about it. But i hate when that girl says "im like the hwasa of mamamoo" bitch even i have the most talent among my friends but i never compared myself to my fave.
@@jenniesaccent6488 I mean...they are CLOWNS.
and their lightksin
How can you be so kind and your voice is so soft like I-
It's like a group of girls who are playing make believe. Smh. Some people back them up saying
Lisa isn't korean and neither Shuhua, but they are Asian and they at least know Korean and they can Dance well. ITS LISA FOR GODS. Plus, many non-Korean Kpop artist are treated a lot harsher than Korean music artist. I think they should at least fluently learn Korean. Don't think koreaboo will ever leave them. They're Kpop fans and that's alll it looks
Like.
This is not a hate comment
I completely agree. From my view they can`t, don`t deserve and shouldn`t call themselves a Kpop group.
• E L I • they aren’t taking shit srsly
The difference between KAACHI and SB19 (The said phillipines group) is that they don’t claim themselves as K-pop. SB19 claim themselves as P-Pop, unlike KAACHI who call themselves as K-pop.
What I don't understand is why did they call it "kpop" when obviously "k" means *Korean* .... They should had called it "ukpop" it makes more sense... Don't u guys think?
Yes I agree. If a foreigner is going to be in the kpop industry, they should at least speak fluent Korean so that they can sing/rap in Korean more easily
@@jenniesaccent6488 yeah!
That's right!
If the pers can speak korean fluently and get the training then yeah he can be a Kpop Idol
But even tho dont try To be a copy of anyone be original
I agree. I was thinking about it this whole video
Otaku Star I agree
*Little updates on them* :
• They improved, check out their recent releases (from Photo Magic to Get Up)
• They've been to Korea to a K-Pop festival, New Beginnings with K-Pop Superfest, aired on SBS
• Some Koreans are ok with them
• The girls actually define themselves as a group mixing their cultures as they're all from different places/nationalities : Chunseo is Filipino and Spanish, Nicole is Spanish and Venezuelan, Coco is Korean
• Dani left the group on July 23 after a disagreement with the agency about her contract, now she has her own UA-cam channel named itsamedani
And also for the info, the girls' company is FrontRow Records, Oli said in a tweet that they're not signed with "them" and vice-versa.
