Wow, these terms were transparent and this seems like a new company who you ignored for favouring your usual and they still sent you, this felt very harsh on new company….. a bit rude Clint
We are in a weird time for mystery boxes because of the down market! Pretty much ZERO mystery boxes actually have any “value” in them and you’d be lucky to get 60-70% of the guaranteed value when you sold them individually! I think we are going to see only a few companies survive the year
Very negative review compared to other mystery box companies. Even the reaction when pulling the pop was muted compared to pulling a similar pop from obvious sponsored mystery box companies.
The guy that plays Zack in Power Rangers, Walter Jones, he signs A LOT. He basically exclusively goes to cons and does signing sessions for like $60 a piece if you want him to sign anything you want. I think $100+ is way too much.
@bubblesadventures2295 Right but going to a con is voluntary just like the signing sessions are. But hey, if someone prices anything a certain way that might look high, if someone buys it, I guess its worth the price to that person at the time so it is what it is. My point was though that Walter does soooooooooo many signatures and basically does signing sessions every weekend and signature lotteries on his website with Austin St John multiple times a year. Its really not that hard to get his autograph which severely drops the value as its not rare at all. Jason David Frank was the same way when he was alive but now that he's deceased, his autograph will slowly get harder and harder to aquire as the only ones that exist are before he passed. Amy Jo Johnson, pink ranger, she stopped doing dozens of cons per year probably 6 to 8 years ago so her signature is harder to come by these days also. Walters, not so much. He signs hundreds of items per day at cons which are already owned by ranger fans that dont plan on selling soooo most ranger fans wouldnt need his autograph unless they cant get to a con.
Truly appreciate the feedback Clint! We are going to take your two key points on the protecting every pop and we are adjusting the pull details to not include what could be considered a damaged pop. That was more in there as a general disclaimer but fully understand what you mean. All the fine print and details are our way to provide as much transparency about the boxes as we can! Thanks for taking the time to give us an honest review!
Nothing is more annoying than taking a SIGNED pop out of its protector and touching it with bare hands. If you don't have extremely clean hands you may leave oily residue or dirt smudges on it or finger prints in general on the box itself. Also it was probably last touched by the signee, and placed in the protector by someone wearing gloves to preserve the signature and authentication process.
dude chill! if it was a A-list celebrity, that is very difficult to get, then yes maybe! But as you can see from what it's sold for, this signature isn't the most sought after. So no it's probably not been handled with gloves or anything! Either it's from a con or a private signing where a lot of people have had them in their hands.
still, signatures are not supposed to be pulled from its case, especially JSA certified ones. They make sure it is not a damaged product being sent or signed.@@JackWolfDM
This was a little overly critical, You have always used PPG before without too much comment. I love this channel but definitely agree with others that if a company is not sponsoring the channel, you can nit pick where as any branch of seven bucks a pop gets an instant positive reaction. I get business is business but this was a little too blatent
He’s right about the pop protectors. If I’m spending $100 plus then I expect protection on the pops. Also I get the obsession w PPG but those first two pops are hot garbage. Spend some time finding pops that might still be lower value but actually have a fan base. Spider-man pops are a good example. You really improve your mystery box by actually putting in characters ppl care about.
How about just opening up the box and looking in it instead of rummaging around blindly? 🙄 It'll still be a surprise to us if you don't show the entire contents at once. C'mon.

A mystery box pofessional lmaooooo
To be fair all companies use ppg and dont use ebay sold prices.
5:20 is opening
Personally would be stoked to get Walter (Zach) signed Pop!
You can tell every time he “reviews” companies that don’t sponsor him. **cough cough mystery grail cough cough **
He gave us some good feedback which we appreciate. Definitely was very critical of our pops

“I’m a funko mystery box…professional”?
Weird that Clint is turned off by transparency from a company. Most will just send you a 5 and call it an 8 or just say nothing.
I 100% agree with that statement
We try to be as transparent as we can!
Ya wtf is his deal embarassing
I hate when they don't open all the products 😒
Clint enjoys his black shirts
Little pricey for my liking considering the gamble on a " damaged box 1:58 "..no protector either ✌️
You seriously just called yourself a "mystery box professional" 😂 that's just cringy 🤮
The Zach one should get at least 100 no problem.

Don't think it was a mystery for what they sent you. They knew what was in the box, so they knew what they were getting graded by you on.
I love reading these comments cause it blows my mind how many people must sit here and just hate watch your videos. lol I don’t get it.
All that fine print.... Definitely has Attorneys involved.....
didnt they send you these boxes before?

That's how the companies get them. Buying a pop for 30% of the value.
@@Decade_of_the_Dawg I think you’re missing my point………Also, they get them WAYYYYY cheaper than 30%
That’s your opinion. There are funko’s that are selling for $750 and above

I think there coming up with prices on signed. Because of ticket, buying the pop & authentication. Everything together is where the price comes in.

Yea he always does this. Amateur move
Chasingthehobby makes very nice sports and star wars mystery boxes, their pop boxes are meh don’t let this turn you off from the company themselves.
lol don’t need protectors for junk pops
