Sua from Dreamcatcher explained it best during a candid interview series they did a couple years ago. She said that even though the members all love each other like family, they still have a working business relationship as well and take care to maintain both aspects equally. You have to, really, it's the only way you don't drive each other nuts from being together all the time. IVE is no different, they're all professionals who know how the industry works.
I really like them, they're my type of people, the kind of people that enjoy sharing quiet time together and respect each others boundaries. Sometimes even with my close friends I get tired because I run out of energy talking to people but they would misunderstand that I was not having fun. Having an introvert group like this is great. They're good at observing each other and give out compliments when they think their member is going through some hard time. Liz hates skinship so unless she initiates it the members wouldn't make her uncomfortable and I think it's so endearing. They really don't force each other to open up, they just wait. Tbf, for their line of job, they have to do different tones for different occasions. It's like in customer service we're asked to speak in certain tone to different types of customer (the usual professional tone when answering general inquiries, happy and insistent tone when selling, tough when dealing with rude customer etc). i naturally have a low toned speaking voice, especially when I'm speaking english. but when I mc my voice goes 1 to 2 octaves higher wc is annoying to me since i like my low toned voice. i tried to be more conscious about it but i only end up sounding weird so i just let my mc voice be.

Watching there videos as a non-dive, I don’t think they relationship is only co-workers as everyone says. Just because they don’t do skinship or act crazy a lot doesn’t mean they aren’t close. I actually like a more calm group because it doesn’t feel forced and feels more relatable. I especially see a connection between wonyoung and yujin. Also leeseo and rei.
Hope you make part 2! Including some of their moments from Eternity Flower (But it's fine if you won't, since it's a content from Universe app) because that's where they show more of their chaotic side, being loud and witty. (That's what annoying antis should see) But tbh, there is really nothing wrong if they are more comfortable being calm and not so loud. I love them for being like that. I used to stan a lot of chaotic and loud groups. IZ*ONE for example, they were really like that. But would y'all believe that I didn't really get culture shock when I stanned IVE? I didn't even realize they're different from other groups until people point it out. I found comfort in IVE. Them, being so sweet and genuine to each other feels like home to me. Of course, I know they were really not that close from the start, the other girls trained together without Annyeongz because they were in IZ*ONE. But as time goes by, I've seen them growing closer to each other. They always take care and look after one another. As a Wonyoung stan, I'm gonna say my opinion because many people are assuming she is not close or she dislike her members. It hurts me when people conclude she hates her members in IZ*ONE or IVE. (Why do people badly want her to be a mean girl?) And people would say she is not as happy now as she was in her former group. For me, she is happy in both. IZ*ONE is an important part of her and I know she will never forget that. She had lovely unnies whom she adored so much and also adored her just as much. In IVE, she finally got two same age friends (Liz and Rei), a travel buddy (Gaeul), a dongsaeng that she can spoil (Leeseo) and of course she is still with her soulmate, Yujin. I can see how much Wonyoung adores Leeseo. Every time they interact, I feel something in my heart but I can't explain. It's like a pain but not really because I know I'm happy. It makes me proud seeing the maknae being a good unnie now. And I see maknae Wonyoung to our maknae Leeseo because she is also very sweet and clingy to her unnies. I prefer those kind of maknaes than evil or tsundere maknaes. That's why it was never hard for me to love and accept Leeseo (cause I used to say Wonyo's gonna be the last maknae I will cherish and love) I really hope that many people would see how much IVE mean to Wonyoung. They are more than just co-workers to her. Otherwise, she would not treat them well off-cam. causes based on their shared stories on pm, it is still the same Wonyoung I know from before. I had these kinds of "co-workers" at my first job. They make my work bearable, and knowing that I'll work with them on a daily basis is one of the reasons I stayed there for a year. For example I have been a fan since pre-debut and I have watched every episode of "1,2,3 IVE". the co-workers thing confused me in the beginning because 2 of my bestest friends i met them at work. 🤷🏻♀️ and these kids insinuating ive are not friends have no real friends in real life. my bestfriend and i share one friend circle but we also go on trips and hang out just the two of us a lot especially when one or both of us are stressed and just want a quiet company.

I think they look and behave like friends and that they're not a chaotic group, which is okay, we don't know what happens behind the scenes... and they're probably trying to figure out how to live together. When I was 19, I served a mormon mission for 18 months, and I had to live constantly with different girls as companions and with some of them it was difficult to adjust, sometimes we both were quite almost the whole day and with others we became immediately friends but it's so different being friends with someone that don't live with you and being friends or close with someone that lives with you, it takes more time and understanding but after a long time that people can became your family, that was my experience but we were always just 2 girls that were between their 19 and 20 (the oldest person I lived with was 25), now imagine 6 girls from different ages living together... it's gonna take time for them.

I always remember that being an idol is a job and not everyone are friends at a job, you just keep things friendly. I don’t assume any idol relationships bc we don’t really know what goes in behind the scene. However people see 0.5% of the clips of IVE and assume things. She said that even though the members all love each other like family, they still have a working business relationship as well and take care to maintain both aspects equally. You have to, really, it's the only way you don't drive each other nuts from being together all the time. IVE is no different, they're all professionals who know how the industry works.

I really like them, they're my type of people, the kind of people that enjoy sharing quiet time together and respect each others boundaries. Sometimes even with my close friends I get tired because I run out of energy talking to people but they would misunderstand that I was not having fun. Having an introvert group like this is great. They're good at observing each other and give out compliments when they think their member is going through some hard time. Liz hates skinship so unless she initiates it the members wouldn't make her uncomfortable and I think it's so endearing. They really don't force each other to open up, they just wait. Actually the only people say negative things are haters, the one who don't even follow and watch IVE contents, like '123 IVE' episodes or other IVE contents. The reason haters hate is because IVE is successful, once a group become successful and big, there will always be haters that will say negative things because they are jealous. Tbf, for their line of job, they have to do different tones for different occasions. It's like in customer service we're asked to speak in certain tone to different types of customer (the usual professional tone when answering general inquiries, happy and insistent tone when selling, tough when dealing with rude customer etc). She's just being professional.

Watching there videos as a non-dive, I don’t think they relationship is only co-workers as everyone says. Just because they don’t do skinship or act crazy a lot doesn’t mean they aren’t close. I actually like a more calm group because it doesn’t feel forced and feels more relatable. I especially see a connection between wonyoung and yujin. Also leeseo and rei.

Including some of their moments from Eternity Flower (But it's fine if you won't, since it's a content from Universe app) because that's where they show more of their chaotic side, being loud and witty. (That's what annoying antis should see) But tbh, there is really nothing wrong if they are more comfortable being calm and not so loud. I love them for being like that. I used to stan a lot of chaotic and loud groups. IZ*ONE for example, they were really like that. But would y'all believe that I didn't really get culture shock when I stanned IVE? I didn't even realize they're different from other groups until people point it out. I found comfort in IVE. Them, being so sweet and genuine to each other feels like home to me. Of course, I know they were really not that close from the start, the other girls trained together without Annyeongz because they were in IZ*ONE. But as time goes by, I've seen them growing closer to each other. They always take care and look after one another.
As a Wonyoung stan, I'm gonna say my opinion because many people are assuming she is not close or she dislike her members. It hurts me when people conclude she hates her members in IZ*ONE or IVE. (Why do people badly want her to be a mean girl?) And people would say she is not as happy now as she was in her former group. For me, she is happy in both. IZ*ONE is an important part of her and I know she will never forget that. She had lovely unnies whom she adored so much and also adored her just as much. In IVE, she finally got two same age friends (Liz and Rei), a travel buddy (Gaeul), a dongsaeng that she can spoil (Leeseo) and of course she is still with her soulmate, Yujin.
I can see how much Wonyoung adores Leeseo. Every time they interact, I feel something in my heart but I can't explain. It's like a pain but not really because I know I'm happy. It makes me proud seeing the maknae being a good unnie now. And I see maknae Wonyoung to our maknae Leeseo because she is also very sweet and clingy to her unnies. I prefer those kind of maknaes than evil or tsundere maknaes. That's why it was never hard for me to love and accept Leeseo (cause I used to say Wonyo's gonna be the last maknae I will cherish and love)
I really hope that many people would see how much IVE mean to Wonyoung. They are more than just co-workers to her. Otherwise, she would not treat them well off-cam. causes based on their shared stories on pm, it is still the same Wonyoung I know from before. She treats all her members well ☺

You brought up a really really good point in the beginning. It's funny that people who don't even watch IVE's content think they know how close they are. For example I have been a fan since pre-debut and I have watched every episode of "1,2,3 IVE". If the twitter and tiktok antis would actually see stuff like "1,2,3 IVE" they would keep quiet and see that these girls have a cute friendship. I think they look and behave like friends and that they're not a chaotic group, which is okay, we don't know what happens behind the scenes... and they're probably trying to figure out how to live together. When I was 19, I served a mormon mission for 18 months, and I had to live constantly with different girls as companions and with some of them it was difficult to adjust, sometimes we both were quite almost the whole day and with others we became immediately friends but it's so different being friends with someone that don't live with you and being friends or close with someone that lives with you, it takes more time and understanding but after a long time that people can became your family, that was my experience but we were always just 2 girls that were between their 19 and 20 (the oldest person I lived with was 25), now imagine 6 girls from different ages living together... it's gonna take time for them.

I don't watch their content but from this I really like Wonyoung's personality with them...the looking-pretty-princess-vibe-camera-cautions image is gone and it's so refreshing for me to see this side of her ♥️♥️♥️

I'm not a heavy fan for this girls, neither watches all their songs or being a active fan or videos. But I really think these girls are just genuine, and normal, they're just so pretty and love their selves and are caring towards their family and their friends, like they have small circle of people they talk to. don't portray people like that, As if they dont love eachother, why do people exhibit like, they should love and force them to love eachother just because they're brought together. These girls see healthy and full of themselves to me, which is not wrong to me, it's their life, their wish.
The unnie line(Gaeul Yujin Rei) always go outside together for eating and whatever, sometimes with the remaining members too, like they once had a family trip visiting Disneyland in Japan. The most touching moment is when the girls received daesang in MMA last year.

In general, all groups are coworkers, it’s just that their job needs them and takes them to interact with each other, but in doing so, they begin to start to understand each other and begin bonding. In summary, it’s almost guaranteed that groups will eventually begin to have strong bonds as they work and do everything together; with the agenda of ranking groups of their public relations is totally unnecessary
