Electric Potential | Hindi

Need for the concept of Potential? Finding Electric Field is not "always" easy. Potential is "another" way of looking at Field.
We have seen that finding Electric Field using Coulomb’s law is not always easy. We have to solve complicated integrals. We saw Gauss’s Law, which was another, and easier way of looking at the Electric Field. In this video, we will look at one more way of looking at Electric Field. We will define concept of Electric Potential and look at Electric Field in terms of Work.
Electrostatic potential at any point in a region with electrostatic field is the work done in bringing a unit positive charge from infinity to that point.
“Trick” is to move the charge without acceleration. When that happens, external force at every point of the path is equal and opposite to the electrostatic force on the test charge at that point. So you can easily replace “force” with Charge*Field and get a relationship between Electric Field and Work.
