Dear Mr. Chesney. This is the first country song I have liked in a long time. This song has meaning, it's catchy and I think you single handedly have brought me back to country music. Bravo. Keep this kind of thing up man. No need to do the same old same old to sell records keep talking about life, real life, not the fake stereotypical BS country is known for.
Yes a modern country song with some meaning! A good change up from the typical girls, trucks, and alcohol themes most modern country is diluted with. Thank you Kenny Chesney!
This makes me sad because Every day when I come home to screaming shouting nothing helps it's Just noise it's all I ever hear my friends house is the only place I can escape it but now she's gone to a different country for the summer. :(
Some of the lyrics and a multiple visuals in the make me think of the song and music video "We Didn't Start The Fire". I think that makes this even better.
WOW. What a switch from his beach-lovin' songs. This is really a great song. And very well produced. I'm really, really impressed with this song. Well done Kenny!!!
I heard this song on the radio yesterday and although I'm not into country, I really liked this song. It's telling the truth about our world today...what an important message. There's just too much noise, and no listening to the quiet. Good work, Kenny.
I'm retired n still hearing "noise " from every talk show and news channel. how r we suppose to unite.. it's everywhere. even the local watering hole..
right my mom found the album the day it came out on a quick stop at the store(me learning to drive) and I heard the first 15 seconds and I knew I loved it
I love this video SO much. Yes, it's ironic that it had to be posted to social media to get it out there but by putting it where he knows it can be seen is probably the smartest way to get his message across. Props :)
Still true even more 5 years later! And just as good! Keep it up! It’s still powerful message and I love all your songs since there are messages to live by!
NOISE...TRUTH HAS BEEN SPOKEN THROUGH AN AWESOME ARTIST, KENNY CHESNEY! PUT THE ELECTRONICS, XBOX, PLAY STATIONS TURN IT OFF, GO OUTSIDE (GET SOME SUN). TAKE OUT THE EAR BUDS ETC....ENTER THE REAL WORLD WITH INTERESTING AMAZING PEOPLE! !!
I don't usually comment, but this is an enlightening song! It's about time, a song that depicts today's generation! We all need to put our faces in conversations instead of these Damn phones! Well done Kenny...see you in Aug with my backstage pass!!! Love love love
I agree with you Tamara 100%. I have lost a lot of friends today because I refuse to only text or go onto facebook, which I am not a part of. I prefer to still hear a real voice in my phone or have conversation face to face. Technology is nice if used the right way. I love technology, but I want it to be used in a part of my life, not all of my life.
Go Kenny! We love you for keeping it fun and real and messages of promoting peace love and positivity 💚 XoXo fan forever love you do what you do for the love and positivity not because you have to
he actually co-wrote this with band members/other writers. He was sitting in vehicle when someone called and he said just that he was having hard time writing songs because of all the Noise. (not word for word what the article said)
bro it feels like i only heard this when i was itty bitty but i guess music ages slower than everything else. im only 13, and this song feels so much older than it actually is. maybe music ages faster than we do. my music taste has changed so much in the past four years and ive grown to suit my own style of music. kinda weird how this brings up memories, even as a young teenager.
Kenny, first I want to Thank You. Your music and beautiful soul has saved my sanity and life on several occasions.. Please Never stop! PS: this song Nails the crappy society we live in now.. You re right we didn't make it but we can't stop the noise. I simply Love You and always have. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! From an East Tennessee girl.
This is by far my favorite Kenny Chesney song! Everytime I'm really stressed and wondering if I'll make it to the next day I put this song on. It re-centers my mind.
This song brings so much to the table. The lyrics give everyone something to think about! The delivery and music are absolutely beautiful! One of my favorite songs!
Recently me, my wife and my grand daughter were back home to pay respects to her great great grandfather, a decorated WW2 vet. Last night, me and my grandaugther rode around my hometown just remembering and I was telling her about some of the things I had done growing up here. She said she wanted memories like that. I told her that she would have her own memories but she just wasn't old enough yet for them to be cool. We rode down to the lake and watched the full moon over the water. By the way, very cool, full moon on summer solstice. She said granddad you've got to hear this song. She played Noise. A powerful song with a powerful message. I tell her and my daughters both that my generation has given you access to all the information in the world now what are you going to do with it? Being part of building that beautiful technology, I remember having conversations about whether it was the right or wrong thing to do. It was always thought that it was not for anyone to decide that but it was a necessity and inevitable. Some of things that I was scared of, I see happening today "Noise". Everything unfolds in the palms of my grandaughter's hands thru the phone she holds. I usually don't comment on things like this but I do read a lot of the things said and it troubles me sometimes. I just keep reminding myself that its part of the process. One of the things that has to happen to get us to where we are going. Most of the time I couldn't tell you where my cell phone is at. I refuse to be that accessible. I don't keep up with Facebook or any other social media but the world does. I hope that we all, everyone on this earth, really begin to understand what all this technology is capable of doing. It wasn't meant to give the bad guys a way to better at being bad and if you believe that you can solve all of your issues by telling the world your problems then you are way off. We all have problems. Her great great granddad and their generation solved their issues without social media and I think most of us agree that they were a great generation. Now with everyone wanting to be heard and what they say be seen by the world, it all just becomes noise. It is so much that I see my daugthers and my grand daughter's generations becoming desensitized to others feelings and emotions. That is so very scary. During WW2, this country pulled together as a whole like has never been seen since. They genuinely cared for each other. Though all of this, what I'm saying is lets please not loose this. All of us are better than one of us. Kenny, 30-A rules!!! Thank you for everything and rest in peace Papa Roy.
I think Kenny and the other song writers would be very honored to read these words inspired by reality and history and family and, in some way, their song.
I don't know if it's just me or because I'm a bottle of bleach but they could bring their phones out and act like their candles putting them in the air
Technology is going to be our greatest achievement yet our even greater of downfalls as a species. Maybe just maybe the world and all we have doesn't need to be improved every single year upon year. Why can't we just be content with LIFE? I too am an addict and a victim of technology. I hear the noise...LOUD & CLEAR...
Just put Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and David Nail together and you have the perfect summer soundtrack. These guys should be leading country music, along with newer tars such as Brett Eldredge, Maddie & Tae, William Michael Morgan, Brett Young!
Hello I really do appreciate you for being a big fan, thank you for your wonderful comments on my post,it really means a lot to me.I sincerely hope you never stop listening to my music

This song speaks truth. Personally, I am fed up with cell phones and all the other "modern" technology. It would have been hard, but I wish that I had been born 200 years ago. Just sayin'.......
Wrecking balls, downtown construction Bottles breaking, jukebox buzzing Cardboard sign says the lord is coming Tick, tick, tock Rumors turn the mills back home Parking lot kids with the speakers blown We didn't turn it on but we can't turn it off, off, off Sometimes I wonder how did we get here Seems like all we ever hear is Noise Yeah we scream, yeah we shout 'til we don't have a voice In the streets, in the crowds, it ain't nothing but noise Drowning out all the dreams of this Tennessee boy Just tryna be heard in all this noise Twenty-four hour television, get so loud that no one listens Sex and money and politicians talk, talk, talk But there really ain't no conversation Ain't nothing left to the imagination Trapped in our phones and we can't make it stop, stop This noise Yeah we scream, yeah we shout 'til we don't have a voice In the streets, in the crowds, it ain't nothing but noise Drowning out all the dreams of this Tennessee boy Just tryna be heard in all this noise Every room, every house, every shade of noise All the floors, all the walls, they all shake with noise We can't sleep, we can't think, can't escape the noise We can't take the noise, so we just make Noise Yeah we scream, yeah we shout 'til we don't have a voice In the streets, in the crowds, it ain't nothing but noise Drowning out all the dreams of this Tennessee boy Just tryna be heard in all this noise All this noise Can't take the noise
Dear mr.chesney you are by far my favorite singer I have every cd you have made. You save me is my all time favorite it's a beautiful song you write truth telling songs noise is a hit home song. Thank you for all your wonderful meaningful songs
can relate to this song. in san Francisco working. in culture shock, from a small town in southern illinois. it's noisey and crazy here. wish I was home in the quiet of my small town.love the song.
+Mark Muhammad Not really... clearly the premise of the song goes way beyond that concept. It's not so much technology as it is our current propaganda system. On the internet, on facebook, people argue using arete instead of dialectics. We have forgotten what those words even mean, and their important place in history, being analyzed by the ancient greek philosophers. We watch the TV and believe what we're told. It's not so much the phones as it is that we're pumping our heads full of the massifying bullshit that an elite group of media owners wants us to think, and we become desensitized to the reality of the life around us. Technology itself is awesome. But our current application of it is harmful.
Mark Muhammad lol I'm not advocating the dismantling of the internet... the internet and the trolling therein is a symptom, not a cause. the cause is the mass media and the lack of correct history being taught in schools, and the overpopulation.
Need to disconnect from Tablets Phones Tv go out live Love life one on with people Don't have Twitter and Instagram on my phone just Beautiful Music 💞💞💞💞💞💞🎶🎶🎶

The tractor in his barn is sexy.
+Antonio De lacruz truly a master of linguistic interpretation, he is.

Keep it up
Yes a modern country song with some meaning! A good change up from the typical girls, trucks, and alcohol themes most modern country is diluted with. Thank you Kenny Chesney!

All too Well was pretty good tho don't you think?

Surprisingly deep song. I was pretty much blown away that something this correct was on my radio. And the video was well done as well.
Some of the lyrics and a multiple visuals in the make me think of the song and music video "We Didn't Start The Fire". I think that makes this even better.

As I grow older, I strive to live farther and farther from the world, as I feel I am being ruined...
Live far from the world, but close to people.

MY Man! Great job Kenny!

This song speaks truth. Personally, I am fed up with cell phones and all the other "modern" technology. It would have been hard, but I wish that I had been born 200 years ago. Just sayin'.......
Says the person relying on "modern" technology to relay their opinion to the other +3 billion people who use the Internet.
Riiiiiiiiiiight. I can do without it.
BlackSkiesProductions Y tu? Puedes vivir sin ello? Yo si puedo. Lo hice por mucho tiempo. No estoy adicto a ello.
+BlackSkiesProductions ikr was about to say that
I guarantee you have an iPhone
Love it!
I am happy he finally correctly labeled his music as what it is, nothing but NOISE.
very good video effects, best fx video ive seen in a while
Idk you know how easy and over used this is
i haven't seen any other videos like this.
Wrecking balls, downtown construction
Bottles breaking, jukebox buzzing
Cardboard sign says the lord is coming
Tick, tick, tock
Rumors turn the mills back home
Parking lot kids with the speakers blown
We didn't turn it on but we can't turn it off, off, off
Sometimes I wonder how did we get here
Seems like all we ever hear is
Noise
Yeah we scream, yeah we shout 'til we don't have a voice
In the streets, in the crowds, it ain't nothing but noise
Drowning out all the dreams of this Tennessee boy
Just tryna be heard in all this noise
Twenty-four hour television, get so loud that no one listens
Sex and money and politicians talk, talk, talk
But there really ain't no conversation
Ain't nothing left to the imagination
Trapped in our phones and we can't make it stop, stop
This noise
Yeah we scream, yeah we shout 'til we don't have a voice
In the streets, in the crowds, it ain't nothing but noise
Drowning out all the dreams of this Tennessee boy
Just tryna be heard in all this noise
Every room, every house, every shade of noise
All the floors, all the walls, they all shake with noise
We can't sleep, we can't think, can't escape the noise
We can't take the noise, so we just make
Noise
Yeah we scream, yeah we shout 'til we don't have a voice
In the streets, in the crowds, it ain't nothing but noise
Drowning out all the dreams of this Tennessee boy
Just tryna be heard in all this noise
All this noise
Can't take the noise
