I mean seriously, if Velma knew what's really going then she should have told the other what's really going and convince them to not trying to catch the ghost in the first place but now thanks to their obesses of solving mystery everyone in town hate them. Witnessing Scrooge behaviour, listening to Dr. Buggly's point and everyone booing at them at the end of the episode made the gangs for once regret for solving this mystery.
