I am someone who uses her decks for specific purposes, so I am very interested in this deck. For grieving, I have used Into the Lonely Woods, which is one of my favorite decks. It's a wonderful deck for healing and looking inward, but it doesn't address grieving specifically. Thank you for a beautiful review of this deck.
I just got to the Rainbow Bridge card part of this video and that’s when I lost it. I had already backed this deck on KS before seeing your walkthrough, because I’m a therapist and I work with a LOT of folks around grief. Seeing the Rainbow Bridge card broke me, though. I lost both of my beloved dogs to cancer this year- one unexpectedly in March then her sister to a known cancer in April. I never expect to find spaces where the grief of that loss is fully understood. Then that card hit me. I had to change my pledge. Now I’m getting a deck just for my own use because I feel like it may help me process my own loss and a deck for working with my clients. This is just so powerful. Thank you for the gentle and validating walkthrough of this amazing tool.
I am so terribly sorry for that devastating loss. Grieving a beloved pet is a unique, raw, and particular kind of grief that is not always understood by everyone around us. Please know that my heart and love are with you.
So very sorry for your loss. Haven't watched the video yet, but your comment brought me to tears. Grief of a pet is indescribable. I lost one of my cats unexpectedly a couple months ago. He was a neighborhood cat that I took in and became responsible for. He was the absolute sweetest boy, I only had him for 1.5 years, but he was really something special. I still have a lot of grief and anger (at 2 different vets) that I am dealing with. I will forever miss my sweet Porch Panther 🐈⬛🌈 My heart hurts for you ❤️🩹
I, as have we all, have gone through some sad times... this deck would have been a godsend. I'm definitely getting one. Not that I hope I'll need it, but because the artwork is stunning and would be great for some unfinished things... shadow work. Thank you as always for bringing lovely new decks to our attention. The Abandoned and Home cards... sniff.
Thank you for sharing! I'm slowing down on buying decks but would never have known of this if you didn't share. I recently lost my grandmother who I was very close to and work with animal decks often, so this totally fits the bill for me! 💜
Oof. This is tremendous. 🙏 Sooo many poignant keywords there, and I was happy to see “Emergence,” as “Emerge” has been my word for this year. 🥹 And I agree with you about the Book of the Dead oracle being better, perhaps, for when the grief is less acute-because, yeah, a few of those cards could be a little distressing when things are still so raw. I love that deck, though, and have definitely used it for grief work, albeit sparingly. This was so special, Lisa-thank you for sharing! 🖤
That Adieu card made me well up! 🙈 it's the time of year that my mum passed away so it's extra affecting at the moment.... I think I'd back it just for that. Thank you for sharing it and bringing it to light. I think it will be a really helpful deck.... Sending much love ♥️ ✨🙏🏼
The deck is beautiful! ❤️ Your crystals a amazing! Blue Calcite is the Crystal I'm working with this month and I'm finding it to be a very emotional crystal. I definitely could see it being a good crystal for grief.
I highly highly highly recommend the Embroidered Graveyard Oracle (with the guidebook) just in general, but especially for grieving or hard times. Helped me so much in the wake of the death of a friend, and I find the readings I get are always on point. Also has a lot of cards for an oracle deck (especially since she actually did the embroidery pictured on every card) and Alicia's writing is so loving and thought-provoking.
Thanks for this video. I have a friend going through the trauma of divorce and experiencing much grief which led me to your video. I have checked some of my decks after watching and drooling over yours. The first oracle deck I checked was The Power Deck by Lynn Andrews. Lo and behold, the top card was Grief! Maybe a sign that is a good deck for working through grief. I’ve checked all the keywords and they don’t immediately appear to be too triggering. The images are also very beautiful. The Flow Tarot pairs beautifully with the Grief Journey Oracle. Now, I’m looking for a deck that could work for me. I pulled out The Tarot Landscape for the same reason you give for using The Flow Tarot, as it’s all images of nature and no people. The colours are also gorgeous. The card-stock is not my favourite though but I’m give it a go. While typing this. I’m re-listening to how you describe each card. Love your observations and the way you dig into the images to bring out the messages they give you. Is there an oracle deck artist who could use your talent for exploring card meanings through the images and have you write their guidebook?
Okay, now I’m going to get sad again, last month was a very rough month for me. I’ll say I had to deal witj a lot and grief was part of it. Not a death loss, but it was grief. I really need to get back to therapy :D but thaf aside… but I don’t typically have decks that I use for dpecific things and I also don’t have money right now, which doesn’t help. But I’m getting there.

I wonder if this would be good to work through depression as well. Adieu literally means "To God" I love the word, but it always makes me sad. We lost our beloved Porkchop the kitty three weeks ago, I am still gutted and can barely talk about it.
My heart hurts for you. I lost my sweet, sweet boy Porch Panther unexpectedly a couple months ago. I can't even type his name without crying. I am deeply sorry for your loss. ❤️🩹
An elephant never forgets, is the saying, I believe.
I think the key word on this card is 'remember'.
Wow. I'm going through a lot of grief right now, and I really liked these cards. What a beautiful deck! 💙
Sending so much love.

It’s beautiful!!! I love the backs. I sooooo need grief cards right now. 🥺. I’ve never bought from kickstarter. I’ll have to check that out.

Sending you love right back....
Have been looking forward to this launch, the topic is very close to my heart.
It’s breathtaking. I’ve been waiting for the launch and your beautiful review helped me make a decision.

OMG! This is amazing - adieu - I'm not crying - yes I am

This deck is beautiful. It's what I thought the Death Doula deck would be.

Oof! The paintings with those word pairings are potent.
It's a beautiful deck that touches a place i have not seen yet. I think the deck could benefit from a trauma card, and it could lead to other things.
Poignant. 😥💙
Lisa made me do it. Backed!!😂
