St. Charles Parish Rail Yard Expansion

The St. Charles Parish Rail Yard Expansion Project was a $11.6M Port of South Louisiana investment to secure a lease-to-purchase agreement with Dow on 16 acres of land. It involved construction of a 2K square yard rail storage/maintenance pad, an access road, and 27K of new track to connect to Dow's neighboring facility, one of the largest manufacturing complexes in the state.
