I don't know which instrument it is, but there is a some-what faint sound in the background that to me, sways my heart back and fourth. It's most likely the rhythm that you are feeling in the piece.

This song is beautiful. I always feel sad and happy for them whenever I listen to it. I can't help but be amazed at how it's divided in 2 parts even with the same notes. It's like Wadanohara and Samekichi are thinking of each other and it's just beautiful

tbh, this game has the best storyline and ost a funamusea game can have.. I cried alot in the normal ending... ever since I finished the game, my pov changed. I honestly thought it was gonna be a boring game, but no.. despite what funa did and all this game has a place in my heart

What a nostalgic song
I went on a boat ride through the sea in Greece, and though I hadn't even thought about this game for a long while, I couldn't help but hear this song in my head when i looked out at it. Bought myself an ocarina first thing when I got back to England and it just clicked perfectly

Personally I liked WATGBS and Mogeko Castle more, but TGG is a good game as well.

They both are my favourite indie games. Even more ironic is that they were both made in RPG Maker.

Ive heard this song before, like 3 years ago or something, but I used to like this song so muchh, after a while I forgot about the name of it and never found it again. Not so long ago I decided to play Wadanohara for the first time, and when I got into the title I said to myself “wait, I know this song”. I got really happy knowing that I found the song that I wanted to hear again, and oh my, it gives me such nostalgic memories. I have not finished it WATGBS yet, im really scared of wich end I might get bc I already know them all, but for sure this game is by far one of my favorites :)
Edit:after I wrote this comment I finished the game and oh my godness, for sure is one of the bests games ive ever played. The story is heartwarming, the characters designs and personatily make them so unique. I went ahead and finished in True ending, this made me cry tbh

I got to watch and play this game when I was like 9 or 10 years old. Im 14 now, and for 4 years this melody has been stuck in my head without hearing it once. I came back to this after 4 years without hearing it, and, this got me so nostalgic I almost cry-

Yesterday, I finished my blind playthrough of this game. I'd been streaming it off and on since August, with lengthy breaks in between. I played the game, I read Jiiya's dialogue in a squeaky voice, I got my only Game Over to Princess Totsusa... Good times. I managed to get four endings - Betrayal, The Red Sea Witch, The Blue Sea Witch, and the True End. There was one ending that I didn't get - apparently I had to run from Orca, which I didn't even realize I could do. Still, I had a good time. Wadanohara was the first game I streamed to completion, but now it's all over. Goodbye, Wadanohara. Goodbye, familiars who I accidentally misgendered the whole game. Goodbye, Tatsumiya and Uomi and Stella and all you NPCs with cool designs. Goodbye, Samekichi, who I liked to call an "edgy shark boy" for most of the game.
Goodbye, Great Blue Sea.
After getting the true ending... This made my cried a lot... This song doesn't hurts. It only makes me cry because it's a healing song... It makes me feel very happy and realized.
THANKS FUNAMUSEA, you made this tough blood-colded guy cry for an ending... A BEAUTIFUL ENDING

i played this game to laugh at the edgy scenes after mogeko castle and even though i didnt cry i felt a gut punch at the scene with wadda and fukami

funamusea/okegom is something special for me, her games and manga are very beautiful, although sometimes they can be questionable and problematic like mogeko castle but that doesn't matter to me anymore. what I always liked about her projects is her music, that gives me nostalgia, happiness and sadness. I'm glad I discovered okegom in April, (although the fandom is a bit toxic) but sensei's videogames will always make me happy anyway. I just want to say that funamusea gave me something special, it's wadanohara, and it will always be my favorite video game of hers

23/7/2024 The day I completed the game, let's just say it was a wonderful experience. The storyline made me feel too attached to the characters, especially Wadanohara ofc. Oh man, I never cried playing video game before. I guess this game really just hits different for me. Oh yea, the music is pretty memorable.
I know I'm pretty late to this but, I mean it's not too late to experience masterpiece.
The funny thing is I discover this game from a Spanish shitpost on a reddit post which uses the battle theme during Princess Totsusa's fight haha

Why do you think that ? I see nothing related to Steins;Gate in Wadanohara. Neither in story nor in gameplay, design, soundtrack or whatever. Can you explain ?

Wadanohara is leagues above most of its other popular RPG Maker contemporaries, as is Steins;Gate compared to most other anime.
The game has excellent production values, a high quality soundtrack and is overall extremely well executed(barring the gameplay).
None of its contemporaries(or at least none that I know) manage to deliver on nearly all fronts to the same degree that Wadanohara does. The game is simply far more coherently put together than most AAA titles these days.
