sup yoshi im looking to complete a similar set off mods on my g923 however im looking to use the 2760 motors because i have heard that the torque on those motors are much more superior than the 18150s. i was hoping you could direct me with some advice and a product list or names of the items used. i know the basics needed such as motors fans and psu however ive heard some people talking about mosfets and other circuit board related mods that im a bit confused about.
thanks in advance for your help!!

Hey man hope you see this message after 3 months, In the video our friend puts a 24v fan but instead you used 2 12v fans, wouldn't it fry the fans as 24v is still coming from the board or it is splitted as 2 fans are connected? Hope you can help me thanks!

@@andresshch4998 If they're run in parallel yes, but as long as they are run in series the voltage is divided between the two instead of the amperage

I tried this and unfortunately it didn't work with the fans I had. Just made a loud humming noise and didn't spin.

Hi, just making sure for a G29, all we need are the 2 motors, heatsinks, thermal paste, fans, and a toggle switch. We don't need to upgrade the power supply?

It's not a bad idea to upgrade the power supply but I didn't for my last one and it's still kicking.

My g29 needs this mod! It gets quite hot with the torque turned up and then force feedback fades badly!

Wouldn't it also work to put two small fans at the bottom cut outs and have them push air out for cooling this way you wouldn't have the exposed Fan at the top

Yep. This was just an easy flat surface to mount to. You could get much more stealth and oem if you wanted.

New to this, I bought a g920 second hand and its dead, I got a replacement motherboard and it's still dead.
I bought 2 power supplies 24volts designed for it and it's still dead.
Have you any ideas on this?
Interesting fan mod, does it keep the board cool?
    Cheers.

Does anything light up? Or does it try to calibrate when you plug it into a computer?
Fan is mainly for the motor upgrade.

Would this plus he motor swap work on a G25?

I'm pretty sure it will. I don't think Logitech ever changed their setup. But you can easily tell if you pop off the top and take a look at the motors.

as an hvac guy i wanted to yell at you for not having the air flow out of the top. might be a cool video if you threw a thermocouple inside and tested each direction for a bit to see which actually cools better

I figured more for playing, you wouldn't want the wind potentially in your face. I could probably use my temp laser gun to see differences. But realistically, this mod is barely needed anyway.

Oh the motor? You just need to be careful of temps. If you have seat sinks or leave the case open, you'll be fine
