My favorite is Something in the rain! Love this tv drama the story, so many times that i watched it never get tired! The chemistry of Jung hae-in & So ye-jin are excellent! I hope they'll make the season 2 with original leading actor & actress also the original casts! Jung hae-in ❤❤❤ Australia 🇦🇺

I started watching Something in the Rain a few days ago. I cheated and looked at the description of future episodes, and it looks like there is not a happy ending. :( I was disappointed because they were wonderful together.

Shouldn't Noona Romance mean where the Characters have Age Difference rather than the actors playing those characters? Like I don't think it should be termed as a Noona Romance when the FL is shown same age as the ML in the Drama even though the actress maybe years older than the actor.

There is no romance between Rowoon and Kim Hee Sun's characters in Tomorrow though. But there is one between Kim Hee Sun (45) and Lee Soo Hyuk's (34) characters, so I guess it belongs to this list anyway 😉

i thought noona romance is where the female character is older than the male character. If only the actress is older but they play either the same age or the male is older(especially if the male is supernatural), then the dynamic we see is still not a noona type.

I'm sorry but SOMETHING IN THE RAIN is soo good that it makes other dramas feel so mediocre. I don't think there is any kdrama even close to the chemistry and realness portrayed in this drama
I have been wanting to watch why her for a long time and I feel sad to know it will air in may but am also glad to know the last episode will make my 20th birthday more interesting.
Noona Love or Noona Romance has to do with the age of the on screen characters, not the actors real age. The characters in Shooting Stars are the same age ie went to college together perhaps the guy is a year older. Also the ML was always inlove with the FL from college days hence saving her from bullying when he bought all the magazines. He used the eunuch incident to hide his feelings but it was driving him crazy to not fully confess all the years. There are a few others in this video that are wrong too. I love MDL and use the website faithfully, but please fact check these things and not just pull random synopsis and theories. Also on the website too as I found some summaries not correct there too.
Forecasting Love and Weather is very underrated, it offers romance within the contect of societal pressures in korean working environments. it goes beyond love to the real world, a very worthwhile watch
For best Noona romance, yes I agree “Something in the Rain” however the OST was soooo annoying and repetitive I had to turn the volume down every time “Stand By Your Man” played; also how about “I Hear Your Voice” as one of the best classic Noona dramas, with Lee Bo Young and Lee Jong Suk, with 10 year age gap 😉?
Most of the watchers of these dramas are not who believe love has no age but those who loves older women and I'm one of them

I love these types of kdramas
It feels like they are reaching on some of these to get 10 dramas. Shooting Stars did not seem like a Noona drama. It felt like the characters were the same age. And I'm sorry when your ML is an immortal being who has lived for hundreds of years. Just because the actress playing the FL is older does not make it a Noona Drama.

“My Beautiful Samsung” on Vickie one of the best younger man older gal dramas. Plenty of humor and definitely heartbreaking, and beautifully done. Wound up binge watching it. Saw it in 2004 - I will never forget it. 😮

As long the characters are both adults is okay but I still find kinda uncomfortable when the younger character is barely adult, like 18-22. Also, there’s a double standard here because people love these noona romance but the opposite is considered “gross”
