That's a great film, I think the storm might have been a touch stronger than the one I caught on 1 Feb 2014 here. I love the fact that your elevation, when looking straight into the incoming waves, makes them appear like the water is boiling with rage on a grand scale. I need to find a (safe) slightly elevated location next time there is a storm...so i can steal your camera angle! Thanks.
Good god, we would not have a chance in hell to survive that if we were in that sea. I've lived near there all my life, visited it countless times on family days out. Not once have I ever seen the waves like that. Very frightening. What's happening!! Xx
Got a holiday home at Isallt Lodges, and in all the last 20 yrs ive never seen anything like that. 6-7 years ago was bad enough and took parts of the promenade out, and i believe the replacement has took a bit of a battering. Bugger, more council tax you watch.
