As an Indo-American caught between the clash of both eastern & western cultures, Indian movies are a tough spot. While most movies are hard to relate to, there are some that truly leave me in awe of the talent of the industry. Dangal is one I am looking forward to - and have been anxiously waiting throughout the year. There is no doubt that it will be a splendid movie. It took a spam of 2 years of shooting, likely ~5 years of writing and developing, and more than 300 people to pull it together. Hats off to that team. I hope other filmmakers/directors/producers/actors are inspired - and know that it can be okay to take a long time to make a film. Don’t make a movie just for the hell of it - invest in it, live it, and hone it. Make a movie worth watching - I truly believe that Indian Cinema has a vast potential, one that can give Hollywood a run for its money. Side note: COMPLETELY and UTTERLY OBSESSED WITH FATIMA. THANK YOU for giving us this gem of a women!

OMG, I just got back from this total surprise hit film! Holy cow, how great is the soundtrack? I may even actually shell out some cash to support such great music stands on its own (but let's be honest, the scenes they're attached to in the movie are priceless!).
My first Indian movie, I watched in Netflix, I cried when they played the song Gilehriyann and Naina, I love it, my heart have been touched by this movie. The fight scenes were incredible, the actors are wonderful, now I have a great respect for the Indian Cinema, you're amazing. Best regards from Brazil!!!
This year it would be a tough competition between Pritam (with ADHM & Dangal) and Vishal-Shekhar (with Sultan & Befikre), also Amit Trivedi as well (with Fitoor, Udta Punjab & Dear Zindagi)
For me, the lyrics of this album are amazing. The best aspect of this album, by far. Each and every song is so well written and perfectly matches the mood and feel of the movie. For example "Sooraj tera chadta dhalta, gardish mein karte hai taare, dangal dangal". I think after Gulzar, it has to be Amitabh Bhattacharya as the best lyricist right now.
all the songs are great..a versatile album as expected from the legendary Superstar Aamir khan... A pleasant surprise is his version of Dhaakad and it's fantastic! loved the other songs including the title song by Daler mehandi... gilehriyaan and naina are great too.
My favorite thing about this movie is that she's not unreasonable strong , she's not just overpowering the boys, but she fights smart with her dad's techniques she doesn't have to be stronger, just strong enough for the weakness of her opponent's technique
This is one of my top fav movies. And 3 idiots is in there too. :D Aamir Khan movies (whether he directs or just acts) have a really good formula. They awake something in you and have a certain depth that pushes you to self-growth.

Okay I think the reason NAINA has not come out, in music video is because it reveals important details from the movie, like when she wins the gold medal or something, warna its arijith why won't they promote him people promote the entire movie because of his voice it's just days till this release and yet no music video, that's why a lot of people does not know ajrjith is in the album

Just watched this movie yesterday with my girlfriend. Loved it ALL (except it's not quite historically accurate - but I expected that) The MUSIC was SO good.
