Flashback with that angel hair! How I hated putting those on the bulbs! Itch for days after! I thought that was taken off the market decades ago! Who else remembers that?
@@AnneLilley..we used to put it around the big bulbs on the tree.. back then it was real trees so I think it was to protect against fires? I think it had some type of glass in it
@@margethibeault6950 My mom called it spun glass. It was inside a silver framework on this tree topper. It was very pretty. But if you got it on your skin it was like having tiny splinters. I think ours was just for decoration. Your tree must have looked really pretty with that around those big bulbs. We used to drape tinsel all over our tree. I don't think they make that anymore because it contained lead. Christmas used to be dangerous!
The 'Tur-ducken' moment made me laugh. They sell that here in Aus at Christmas time. Oh, and Jenny we have similar tastes, I love Pocky in chocolate. Good ole' Avon lady little lipsticks loved them.
Good to see you & Jenny together at Goodwill !!! Oh Dagney, how lucky you are to find that plastic Avon box with the cute little sample lipsticks 💄 inside !!! My mom, me & my two sisters always loved those little lipstick samples & looked forward to our Avon lady giving us some free samples !!! She also gave us the little skinny glass tubes of perfumes on a card for free cause they were samples too !!! I miss those times. I've been looking for many years for one of those boxes with the lipstick samples inside but no luck 🍀 yet. I will keep looking for one. Enjoyed your video. Take care Dagney & Jenny !!! 🙂💕
I am looking for Paltzgraff Yorktown dinner plates, I know everyone looks past them but my daughter needs several to replace in her set. Would you be able to pick some up for me? None around here in Michigan.
OMG! I knew it! Those little Avon lipsticks were the best! I loved when my mom would get them.
Me too!!!! Great memory!😊
I remember the Avon Lady would give you some little lipstick samples in your delivery bag
I don't have the box. But I still have all my Mom's little lipsticks. Most still intact.
I love the rooster trivet
I remember those Avon lipstick 😂
Jenny is so funny. I like it when she shops with you.
Fun video and love your interaction with Jenny❤
Oh I used to love those Avon lipsticks when I was little too! Great find! ❤
My grandma had lipstick samples like that in the container. I love it.
That plaque with the Civil War soldier on it was fantastic.
That snail was amazing
Haha! The noise at the end made me laugh. The woman with those kids seemed to be pretty chill. And it sounded like she needed to be!
I saw the short you did with the little Avon box. It looked great after you cleaned it up. Loved the music on that too.
❤ the Avon and the vintage Otagiri cup!

Oh my gosh I remember that. We had a tree topper with angle hair in it. I would never touch it! The things we used to think were normal!

I speak fluent Dutch the drorste can with the Dutch children is a hot chocolate canister it’s like the Swiss miss of holland. Looks like an older one
Yeah, Droste is an old Dutch company. That looked like an older tin with chocolate powder to make hot chocolate drinks. They still exist, by the way.
The flower wire mirror is very collectible😊..a whole following for that furniture
❤️ the little Avon lipstick. I remember getting in trouble for playing with them but I just couldn't help it!
Love those Russian dolls x❤
People collect the old Avon samples 😊 great grab! Might be better on ebay

I went to my local Value Village and Im sure the woman died, but there were 10 Avon Mrs. Albee Statures from the late 80's to 2006.
My mother sold Avon in the UK in the 70’s and I remember the sample lipsticks and the perfumes.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fun walk through. I always enjoy when you go shopping with Jenny. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
My mom was an Avon lady also, my sister 's and I would help fill the bags for delivery
