I live in a small desert city that not only DOESN’T have mall sushi, we don’t have a mall! Lol So I buy my sushi from a grocery store that was kind enough to give a couple sushi artists their own station to prepare it fresh for us daily. How fresh fish can be in the desert? lol that’s another topic. I’m just grateful for what I can get my hands on. Thank you for making these delicious videos for people like me to enjoy through you guys! God bless!
I wouldn't worry about it. All sushi grade fish has to be flash frozen first so there's no parasites, the length of distance from the ocean might not matter if it stays frozen until then. You should be ok with the grocery store kind.
