The newest composition by Chris Coletti, "Moto Perpetuo "or "Perpetual Motion for Two"
Recorded "in the field" with iPhones on University of Denver campus at Rafael Mendez Summer Brass Institute 2024 featuring the incredible Amy McCabe!
Inspired by composers such as Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Tys Music and Brandon Ridenour, this flashy duet never stops! It takes advantage of finger combinations that sound harder than they are, enabling blazing speed and constant motion.
This premiere recording was done at Rafael Mendez Summer Brass Institute 2024 in Denver, CO and is part of an ongoing experiment to content using gear I tend to have with me. Video and audio was recorded with an iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 11, and iPad Pro 12.9. Video editing was done in DaVinci Resolve on a MacBook Pro.

Thanks so much!
Amy! Still the best one on the whole row! Awesome players!
Thanks!
Bellissima e bravissima trombettista ❤❤❤❤
Nice sight reading!!!😅😅😅
Funny, I was just singing that catchy tune when walking my dog around the institution this morning.
Quite a tune to be singing! :)
@@trumpeterchris Oh, I quit when they gave me my meds, but thanks for replying, seriously. 👍

@@trumpeterchris Seriously tho, I'd love to hear you play the Grande or Triumphal March from Verdi's Aida. It really suits people like me who have simple minds but love good music. 😊👍
@@facitenonvictimarum It's a great piece of music! Verdi knew how to do it right :)
It was awesome seeing y’all at RMBI! Sounding great!
was with the behind the scenes group who interupted you! good job!
Amy is one fine trumpeter....
Yes she is!
In Polish language I'd say: "karkołomny numer". I don't know, how to express it in English. "Breakneck peace of trumpet music?". Excellent performance 😊
I'm an hour away from Denver and I missed this. You two inspire me to start playing again. Excellent....
Ohne Worte. Bin sprachlos und überaus begeistert. Toll!!❤
Danke!
