The EVM controversy has been reignited in Maharashtra following allegations of an EVM being unlocked, sparking a political storm. The Mumbai Police have registered a case against Mangesh Pandilkar, the brother-in-law of newly elected Mumbai North West Lok Sabha MP Ravindra Waikar, for allegedly using a mobile phone at a counting center on June 4, the day of the election results. An FIR has also named an EC official, Gurav, for allowing the phone inside, which was reportedly used until 4:30 PM during the closely contested election where the Shinde Sena MP won by just 48 votes. Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has called EVMs a "black box" and criticized the lack of transparency in the electoral process, while Aaditya Thackeray mocked the Election Commission, labeling it as "Entirely Compromised." Shinde Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam defended Waikar, dismissing the allegations, and the Election Commission reiterated that EVMs are 100% safe, emphasizing that no phone can hack them.

If evm are perfect then how ,poll votes and counted votes miss match in entire country
If you have evidence of mismatch, then why not file a case with EC and SC?
If the opposition is having guts, approach the Supreme Court, seek cancelation of the elections held as bad and seek fresh mandate.
No guts required, fraud if any, has to come out naturally to have free and fair elections!

Strategic move of RSS_BJP in manipulating EVM is not uniform. It is because, we the people of India, ask " Why Amitsha talked to 150 IAS Officers? Why there is votes difference: among recorded and the counted?
Strategic approach:
Some places RSS_BJP wanted to show increase in voteshare- like TN, Kerala..

Aren't these machines VVPATs? If so, they can be hand-counted to allay any fears and counter any false accusations. The aggrieved party should get the courts to direct the EC to hand-count the paper audit trails stored within each of the VVPAT machines that were used in the said constituency.
