How to cook Braised veal or Ossobuco

  • Ingredients :
    600 g Braised veal, Ossobuco or carne na may buto, 1 onion bulb, carrots, stalk of celery garlic, oil, green peas
    1 Tbspn concentrated tomatoe sauce, black pepper, half cup white wine, 2 cups water and salt to taste.
    Procedure :
    Saute the grinded onion bulb, carrots and celery.
    Put meat and fry until golden brown then watered with white wine and let evaporate the alcohol.
    Add black pepper, add also 1 cup of water and simmer add also tomatoe sauce, cover and simmer. Add another 1 cup of water then simmer for 40 mins then add green peas. Chk if the meat is tender. Cook for 1 hour. Serve.
