I am On PC Ryzen 7 7700x Rtx 4070ti 32gb ram To everyone here trying to find a fix, I have now been playing 3 days without a crash after crashing almost every 10 min while playing. Please follow steps to change your ram to your specified ram size i have 32gb. 1. In search bar, search - view advanced system settings 2. Click on advanced tab, and click on settings for performance. 3. Go to advanced tab in performance options, click on change for virtual memory. 4. unclick automatically manage paging file size for all drives if it's on, select custom size and set your sizes for your specific ram you have, make sure you click on the storage you have your games downloaded to when your change your Ram size settings Hope this helps yall
One thing I did, it's not a permanent fix but it helps the game from crashing constantly, is setting the in game vram to 50-60, and lowering texture to normal weather grid to normal and shader quality to medium
Secure boot is on. Still crashing. I've tried EVERY fix that's on Google/UA-cam and NOTHING works other than booting in safe-mode and leaving all of my settings on the lowest possible. Game looks like absolute dogshit. Cheaters are rampaging in every lobby. Every streamer is using bot lobbies. Skill based damage...... Bo6 is cooked.
Nah bro, how can you hate this game? You only paid 80 dollars to a AAA company wich cant even fix their Game and cant even refund it because all your ingame time was trying to fix this shit
Thank you! I tried loads of different methods including reducing the quality on everything to low and this is the only thing that worked! Now I can run all my graphics on high/ultra with no issues
What says that Secure boot is enabled your motherboard or Windows if it's your motherboard it doesn't necessarily mean that it's enabled in the right version the game wants you to enable the version for Windows only by default Secure boot is enabled for all operating systems but the game wants you to enable Windows only mode this Secure boot mode which can have several names like Windows mode or strict mode or Windows ufi or etc
@@dptcool windows uefi is enabled in my bios still getting the error thanks anyways wise guy this multi million dollar company cant release a game on pc with no bugs fucking ridiculous refunding and never looking back fuck you activision
I tried doing this but it wont fully load secure boot (option of other os or windows uefi) like, itll show a much lower resolution as if something got reset in graphics
Chiming in to add some data here: Everything had been running smoothly for me when I had AMD drivers 24.10.1, and an older driver on AMD GPU as well. After I updated drivers to most recent (24.12.1) Whenever I go to alt-tab or windows+d to tab out to desktop, I immediately crash. I'm in Windows HDR when it happens for what it's worth. Doesn't seem to have any issues when I am in non HDR mode.. even with the new drivers. IMMEDIATELY after I exit out of HDR on windows and monitor, and disable HDR in COD, everything is fine. The second I re-enable HDR to ON in Black ops and try to alt-tab, immediate black screen and crashes. With it disabled, I immediately can tab back to desktop with no black screen, immediate. I'm using the latest version of Windows 10.... till the day of Windows 10 support ending 🤣🤣
Seems to have fixed my issues. I was unable to make it through more than 2 games before trying this. Im currently on my 5th with no crashes so I think this solved it.
it was off but i but it to on from bios and i play for 32 round of zombies and 3 search and destroy games without a single crash all the thanks is to you
Thanks it worked for me I'm not happy about having to enable this but it seems I don't have a choice everywhere several games started asking to enable this so their anti-cheat would work properly and if you don't enable it Well you can't play and it seems to be the same for this game except the error message isn't very clear about it
@@ignaciopaz5956I have to use Nvidia drivers from august 560.81 When launching the game it tells me that these drivers don't meet the recommendations....but it played perfectly without the direct X error......the latest drivers brings back the error so I guess they are fine
Stress-tested fix on a system running Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H w/ NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop with these In-Game Graphics settings: -Display Mode: Fullscreen Borderless -Display Adapter: Use your AMD or NVIDIA graphics card, avoid integrated graphics -Screen Refresh Rate: Max available for your system -Display Resolution: use Native screen resolution (leave on auto) -NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency: On -Eco Mode: Custom -V-Sync Gameplay/Menus: off -Frame Rate Limit: unlimited Now shift over to the Quality tab: -Render Resolution: set to 60 -upscaling/sharpening: off Benchmark your system with these settings and find the FPS sweet spot with your other graphics settings in-game to find what works best for you. No DirectX errors after playing on a laptop for 3 hours 👌🏻
This actually fixed my crashes!! had the same errors and 35 hours of gameplay later no crashes. Thank you for this video brother! Although I noticed my FPS has dropped by 30 to 50 frames since turning secure boot on.. any suggestions to get the FPS back up??? I play on 1440p competitive low settings

trash ass game, 4 years of lies
Way to fix is settings ,search ,graphics setting ,advance graphics settings , Hardware -acelerated GPU scheduling turn it OFF
Didn't work for me. Same as the tip in the video, or the tip in the comment above, nothing seems to work.

Yes still having it im giving up and starting playing other games
Did not work for me unfortunately.
Nothing works! This Game is Problem, Not PC!
This don't work, it's most likely related to the 24H2 build of Windows 11 as other games are crashing as well.
uhh this is literally the only game crashing for me.. its a COD issue and nothing else

Solved my problem, updated to 24H2 today, couldnt go 10 minutes without a crash if that. Downgraded, fixed the problem completely.
Worth also disabling Nvidia, AMD, Steam, EA, Epic overlays too.

Stress-tested fix on a system running Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H w/ NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop with these In-Game Graphics settings:
-Display Mode: Fullscreen Borderless
-Display Adapter: Use your AMD or NVIDIA graphics card, avoid integrated graphics
-Screen Refresh Rate: Max available for your system
-Display Resolution: use Native screen resolution (leave on auto)
-NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency: On
-Eco Mode: Custom
-V-Sync Gameplay/Menus: off
-Frame Rate Limit: unlimited
Now shift over to the Quality tab:
-Render Resolution: set to 60

Benchmark your system with these settings and find the FPS sweet spot with your other graphics settings in-game to find what works best for you.
